I tried 3 other wireless keyboards in the run-up to this one, and this is the only one that didn't have any sticky keys, or that had a lag between typing and showing the text on screen. It works well and is a great option for quick typists, designers and coders.4 starts instead of 5:It is also the only wireless keyboard I tried that didn't have a built-in space for storing the USB receiver, and it also does not have a on/off switch so battery power could be affected although I am yet to test this.Summary:* All keys work well, even when typing at a speed of over 90 words/minute* The communication between the keyboard and screen is very good. There are no delays between typing and it showing on screen* This keyboard has a separate USB receiver (like most wireless keyboards), but no built-in storage for it, so you risk losing it easily* There is no on/off switch, so if you leave the receiver in the laptop you run the risk of the batteries being used if your laptop is closed (but not switched off).* It is full sized. This is a pro, because it's like using a normal keyboard, but also a con as it is not easily stored away or easy to travel with.

I've had this set for almost 3 years now having replaced this after the one i got from my work broke. I love it and find it has the perfect size, battery life and comfort level. The mouse is perfect for me and has the perfect curvature for my hand, which is medium size with long fingers. I have difficulty finding a mouse that suits my hand but this is perfect. Battery life is ok keeping in mind it doesn't turn off due to inactivity and i almost never turn it off unless travelling. I change the battery every 4 months or so. It also has a usb space on the bottom which is perfect for travelling. The keyboard doesn't make much noise when typing but there is a sound. I find it very comfortable to use and have good reach. It doesn't have any fancy buttons but everything you would need for most things is in easy reach. I don't think I've ever changed its batteries.I've seen the other reviews but my experience has been nothing but great.

My new PC kept freezing with the existing usb mouse and keyboard so I tried this, more in desperation than anything else. Not only did it completely resolve the problem but now that I've gone "wireless" I can't see me ever going back to cabled peripherals. The set up only takes seconds and Windows 10 recognized the wireless adapter instantly so I was up and running in less than a minute. The mouse is delightfully smooth in everyone of its functions and although the keyboard is a bit dated and clunky it's identical to my work's keyboard so every button is exactly where I expect it to be.Add all this to a very low price and superfast delivery and it amounts to yet another great Amazon shoppingexperience.

As much as people (me included) rib Microsoft, they do produce good quality hardware. This replaced an older Microsoft set-up which was showing its age (some of the keys were getting tempremental).Unplugged the old, plugged the new, made sure the batteries were the right way round (basic but easy to mess up) and the PC booted happily and locked on to both the mouse and keyboard with ease.Range seems decent, though to be fair I'll probably only use it from 10 foot away at most and the angle through which the wireless signal works seems broad enough for most eventualities. If it lasts as long as the old one then I'll be more than happy.

It's very compact and very easy to set up. You just need to plug the tiny wireless transmitter into an USB slot. It looks stylish and attractive. What might be negatives for some are that it is not expressly waterproof as far as I know and the key groups are close together compared to a standard keyboard but you can get used to that. I've had no latency issues gaming but I don't play at a top level. A pro-gamer may prefer a wired keyboard. The 2 AAA batteries last up to 15 months time according to the instructions. If you like a compact wireless keyboard it's a good purchase.

A decent wireless keyboard, however due to the spacing of the keys, one can often press the wrong button. If you're used to keyboards having a gap between the arrow keys, the number pad and standard keys, this keyboard will take some adjustment. I've been using this for over a month and still constantly press the wrong keys due to the spacing. If you are in a dark room you may also struggle with the keyboard as the font on the keys isn't very easy to read. For the price it's decent, but in hindsight I'd have probably got something else.

I found myself working from home due to some virus doing the rounds and couldn’t think of anything worse than using a laptop keyboard full time. Saw this one was not in stock at any local Argos, but I could collect next day at my Sainsbury’s local, still trying to figure that one out!Keyboard does the job I need, although I did need a wrist rest as it is quite deep and I found myself holding my wrists at a strange angle. Solid keys and standard spacing between the keys.Recommended.

The keyboard has the key spacing of a full size wired keyboard, and has a curve to it to make it easier to type whilst on a desk. The reason why it loses a star for me is that the top row of keys (ESC/F1-11, Prt Scrn etc.) are horrible. When I go to hit the escape key, I have to actually look what I am doing as it is only about 5mm tall, and is not a mechanical key. So if you don't pay attention you aren't really sure if you are pressing it.Also, no caps light.

As wireless keyboards go, this one is very good. It has an auto on/off power mode for when the keyboard is idle, but not to sure what the timer is. Good signal distance, I am 10 feet away from the PC.It looks great (black, shiney and stylish) and the buttons feel light to use. All in all, it seems well made - but I have had it only for 1 week and time will tell, but I think it will last for a few years at least.

This is a very robust, keyboard and mouse set-up. I've had an 850 Wireless combination for a few years now. This was bought as a replacement for a mouse which had gone slightly dodgy after a fall from quite a height. There are no great frills to either keyboard or mouse, but that's not what I wanted for an office set-up. They work well, seem reliable and robust enough and should provide many years of service.

Plug and play on Windows 10, so easy to setup.Lightweight, but feels quality and doesn't bend out of shape as I type (with my rather heavy typing!) like some cheap keyboards do.Key style is a little old fashioned, rather than the latest Apple/Flat keys style. Also, detected a bit randomly by my laptop. Some days it works on the bitlocker/startup screen, other days I need to wait until Windows starts.

I already have two Microsoft 800 models. The only difference with the 850 is that the on/off switch on the mouse is stiffer. If you have not used a wireless keyboard and mouse, then I'd recommend that you try one. They are very easy to set up (just plug in the USB, put in the batteries and use them). The lack of cables makes a great difference to your desk space.

Good value and works fine. I've used the keyboard and mouse with a Windows 10 laptop and also a Linux Mint desktop. In both cases was easy to set up. My only complaint is that I'm a touch typist and the space bar seems to be recessed, so whacking it with your thumb sometimes is a bit difficult/clumsy.

28.8.2019

Good quality, quiet soft touch keys and most importantly no wires!Only downside is, in common with most other wireless keyboards, there's no caps lock indicator so I downloaded a desktop app called KeyboardLEDs that indicates on your screen if scroll, number & caps lock are on or off.

Love these things. They don't feel as cheap as they should for the price. We use them all over the building.Excellent range, the keyboard batteries seem to last six months or so, and the power switch on the bottom of the mouse pleases the wallet-hugger in me no end.
