Logitech MK470 Slim Wireless Keyboard and Mouse ComboI am a big fan of Logitech products so I jumped at the chance of this Keyboard and Mouse Combo when it was offered to me. Like all previous Logitech products that I've tried, this too appears to be very well made.First thing that struck me about this Keyboard and Mouse Combo was how slim it actually was. Comparing this to other slimline mouse keyboard combos that I've tried, this has to be the slimmest yet. The mouse too is super slim, being the flattest mouse I've ever seen. The keyboard measures 373.5 mm x 143.9 mm x 21.3 mm with the mouse measuring 26.5 mm x 59 mm x 107 mm. I was quite surprised by the weight of the keyboard too, although being slim and quite small, it weighs in at a hefty 558 grams. To me, that is an indication of solid construction.Build quality is indeed superb. The keyboard is made from high quality matt white plastic with a soft textured surface. The top rear of the keyboard, which is essentially the battery cover, is made from dark grey plastic. The mouse is made from a similar material as the keyboard. On the underside of the keyboard are five soft silicone rubber feet which grip the desk tightly without any movement whatsoever. The mouse has two semi-circular pads which the mouse glides smoothly upon.Concerning the batteries:Both keyboard and mouse come supplied with batteries, there are two small pull-out tags which need to be removed to activate the batteries. One tag on the mouse, one on the keyboard. It was a bit of a mystery to me on how to replace the batteries. After a little research I found the top of the mouse will just pop off with a finger nail as it's rather cleverly held down by three small magnets. After removing the cover it reveals just a single AA battery which is easily replaced. The keyboard cover (Top rear grey panel) is removed by sliding it backwards away from the keys, underneath you will find two AAA batteries. There is also a small area for the Nano Receiver to sit in whilst in storage.Battery swapping should not be an issue as it's claimed keyboard batteries should last up to 36 months, with the mouse lasting up to 18 months. In use:Also supplied in the box is a small USB Nano Receiver, this receiver pairs with both the mouse and keyboard. I found after popping the Nano Receiver into a spare USB port on my computer, both mouse and keyboard were instantly recognised and ready to go (Windows 10).The mouse felt a little strange at first due to it's low-level slimline shape, it looks more like a flat oval biscuit than it does a mouse. It does take a bit of getting used to, but after a few hours use I kinda like it. The mouse is pretty basic with just left and right mouse buttons, along with a clickable a central scroll wheel, which is no bad thing in my opinion. On the underside of the mouse is an on/off button which only needs to be used if the mouse is to be carried around or is in storage. The mouse will de-activate after a short time of inactivity, so normally the switch would be left on.Both left and right mouse buttons are soft and positive, they are also virtually silent in operation. The scroll wheel has a slight soft ratchet feel to it with the push button too feeling soft and positive. The keyboard is a dream to use. Each key is clearly marked with a black font, the font is also quite large which makes each key marking easy to read. The keyboard feels a little like a laptop keyboard with every key press feeling soft and shallow. The keys are quite close together, they are also virtually silent in operation. In conclusion:I really do like this keyboard mouse combo. The keyboard is well made, heavy, and the keys are smooth and positive. The mouse, despite taking some getting used to, is equally as impressive. The mouse cursor moves smoothly across the screen without skipping or stutter. Plus, this mouse seems to work without issue on my wooden desk even without using a mouse mat - Highly Recommended!Contents -1 x Keyboard1 x Mouse1 x Nano receiver1 x User guideIf you have found my review at all helpful I would very much appreciate if you could click the 'Helpful' button below, thank you.

I received this combo set from Amazon EU three days before forecast, so that was a nice surprise. And so far, it has lived up to its promise. I bought it to replace a corded keyboard which had become increasingly unreliable & the fact that it's cordless is a surprising bonus. The keys are noticeably quieter than the previous one, the very large backspace ( & mysteriously, another spare one on the top right, in case you forget where the main one is, presumably) & delete keys are also nice, as I make a lot of typos as I type quite fast. It also has the dinky little fold-out feet at the back to angle it, with rubber bumpers on the lower bit,so it doesn't slide about on the desktop & comes with batteries pre-installed.It has a predominantly matte surface, so not the dust & fingerprint magnet my previous one was. The calculator key is very useful, as are the alternate function keys, actuated by pushing the blue 'fn' key. One slight niggle is that the silver media keys at the top don't have very distinct symbols on them, making it slightly difficult to see their function. One of these completely shuts down your pc with one button press: very handy.Oddly, it doesn't have Caps Lock or Num Lock leds, but a small screen advice notice appears when you activate them, & who doesn't always have Num Lock On?The quiet & discrete action of the keys is also very positive for a cheap membrane keyboard (as opposed to the more expensive mechanical ones) & overall & it's quite a bit smaller dimension-wise than the monstrous gaming keyboard it's replaced. The handy thing about having a cordless keyboard is that you can just pick it up & place it aside if you actually feel the need to write something on paper on your desktop, or eat a meal. OK, I was joking about that last bit, as I'm not that desperate or slobbish & I have a table in the dining room to eat meals from. But you know what I mean. Quickly frees up deskspace. It claims very long battery life but I haven't had it long enough to test the 24 month claim. Anyway, for the particularly frugal, it has an on/off switch underneath. I'm very pleased with it, & at the current Amazon price, it's a winner by my standards. Now, the mouse......I didn't need another mouse as I have an ancient cordless Logitech M510 using a similar tiny USB dongle in one of the pc's front USB ports, so expected it to work immediately, along with the keyboard, as it's got the Logitech Unifying software previously installed. Alas, the new (tiny) dongle, which looks identical to my old one, didn't work with my old M510, which is perfectly weighted, big, tall, sophisticated (much like me) & perfectly suited to my hand & loads better than the cordless M215 which comes bundled with this combo.Compared to the M215 my old M510 is a Rolls Royce, so I was momentarily dispirited. The M215 which comes bundled is quite small, has no left-hand back/forward browser buttons, no left/right scroll function on the scroll wheel, & is, if I put it delicately, is more suitable for a smaller female hand than mine & is much less sophisticated than the M510 & makes a scratchy noise on my Fellowes gel-pad mouse mat, which the M510 doesn't. It's a piece of c**p frankly. But OK for a lady or a dwarf. Not a Man's Mouse.BUT.......I got on the Logitech site/support & updated the Unifying Software, switched off the 510 then on again & Bingo! It instantly recognised it & worked, as the Unifying software recognised the 510 after specifying it in the simple menu. You can run up to six Logitech unifying peripherals from the same dongle, so that might be helpful to people who have other cherished Logitech input products like me. However, my M510 cost more than this keyboard/mouse combo combined. The supplied M215 might be small & light so more suitable for use with a laptop & at least I've got a spare mouse in case my M510 goes kaput (unlikely). All in all, 5 stars for the keyboard, at its price point, but missed 5 stars due to the patheticness of the mouse in this combo. But if you're not too fussy about mice, disregard this. All in all, typical Logitech quality & build, & for a membrane keyboard, this is good enough for me. Recommended.

This keyboard and mouse combo are designed to be ultra-slim, compact and relatively quiet in its operation. Considering its size, this combination has a comfortable fit for the user. I believe it would lend itself to a certain amount of portability and will work out great for those people who have a peripatetic working lifestyle. The general advertising, for this unit, is that this combo is should get shorter periods of downtime, as the battery should go on for longer before you need to change them. Besides, its other collective feature is that both components will go into battery saving mode/sleep mode when not in use.I was intrigued by the term scissor-switch keyboard and decided to look it up.With the scissor-switch. The keys are attached. They came keyboard works via 2 plastic pieces that interlock open ‘scissor’– like fashion, and then snap together to the keyboard and key, it still uses domes the special plastic scissors mechanism links the to the plunger, which then depresses the rubber dome with a much shorter travel than the typical rubber dome keyboard. It is common scissors switch keyboards to also employ 3-layer membranes as electrical components of the switch. Now for me, this is where things get a bit complicated, so I might skip a bit here, but it says that this type is key switch is normally found in built-in keyboards on laptops or marketed as low profile keyboards. The benefits are that they are quiet and the keys will require very little force to depress them. That said, scissor-switch keyboards are by and large, more expensive and harder to clean, but the flip side to this is due to their configuration. They’re less likely to get debris in the between the keys. The result of this technology is that it provides a more fluid and similar laptop-like typing experience. While this move pebble-like shaped mouse is pretty good for both left-handers and right-handers and has somewhat of an ambidextrous feel.To get started, first, pull the tabs protecting the batteries on your mouse and keyboard. The combo MK 470 will automatically turn on. Then insert the USB receiver in any available USB port on your desktop or laptop. Your keyboard and mouse will be ready to use. Slide the upper part of the keyboard up to find the batteries and receiver storage inside. There should be the keyboard 2 times Triple-A batteries, which have been pre-installed. Then there should be one double a battery which was pre-installed, a USB receiver and user documentation. The minimum requirements for this equipment to work with your computer or laptop should be a USB port Windows 10 or later, Windows 8, and of course Windows 7. While I've not checked this out, this unit works with Microsoft's Surface computers. All in all, I found this combination of keyboard and mouse to be easier to set up and use. This may be a small thing, but I was also happy that batteries were supplied. All too often, a technology that needs batteries is often sold without any. And that’s never a good thing. If you’re in the market for a new keyboard and mouse then this offering from Logitech is certainly worth considering.

Good reasons to buy this wireless keyboard and mouse combo are that it clears your work surface of all wires; frees-up a USB port – the Unifying Receiver occupying just one, instead of one each for the keyboard and mouse; takes up minimum space, whilst still offering a full set of full-size keys (including a number pad) and a more or less full-size mouse; and you get Logitech quality at what amounts to a budget price. The advertising that says the keyboard offers ‘all the keys you need’ is certainly true – including a decent set of function keys. Of those I use most, only the up and down arrow keys and the delete key are on the small side. The mouse is a bit basic – just the two left and right click buttons, plus the scroll wheel, which has a built-in switch to enable smooth scrolling up or down and side-to-side. Well, really, that too is ‘all you need’. I’m not a fan of the low profile of the mouse, but that does seem to be trendy at the moment, and it is equally good for left- or right-handed use.It weighs 75 grams (including battery). For me, that’s a bit on the light side; I go for about 100 grams, but that is probably one of those things that are largely a matter of what you are used to. It is not particularly quick on its feet: that may improve as the ‘feet’ become a bit smoother with wear, and perhaps cushion themselves with a bit of accumulated dust, as mice tend to do.It works well on most smooth surfaces, including a bed quilt or a leg, (trousered or untrousered!), but it doesn’t work on glass as some recent Logitech mice do. So if your work surface is glass-topped, you will still need a mouse mat.Very much on the plus side for the mouse are the ease with which the top cover lifts off to expose the battery and the docking port for the Unifying Receiver.Getting at the batteries and (yes, another) docking port for the Unifying Receiver in the keyboard takes a bit more effort and know-how, but the keyboard – when new – comes with a transparent strip that indicates where and in which direction to push. The mouse uses one AA battery and the keyboard two AAAs. Those supplied with the combo when new are not rechargeable, but there is nothing to prevent you from installing rechargeable batteries when you need to replace them. (You will have to take them out and use a conventional charger to re-charge them, though.)I have a small collection of wireless mice that run on batteries. The batteries last an incredibly long time, so I have every reason to believe the claims made by Logitech re. the batteries in this set (keyboard: 36 months, mouse: 18 months). If I find those claims are wildly over the top I will add to the bottom of this review. On the claimed quietness of the keyboard and mouse, so what? They still make some noise. But, for what it’s worth, they are a little quieter, especially the mouse. The warranty is for two years. My experience with Logitech mice and keyboards goes back a long way and has been nothing but good, so the likelihood of needing to make a warranty claim seems pretty remote.

This Logitech Slim Combo MK470 comprises a slim portable keyboard, MK340 low profile mouse and a 2.4GHz USB dongle. Power comes from 2AAA batteries in the case of the keyboard and 1AAA cell for the mouse with the quoted battery life of up to 36 and 18 months respectively.A simple user guide and details of the 2-year warranty are included. I found initial setup very easy and because of the supplied dongle easier than some Bluetooth devices – neither the keyboard or mouse support Bluetooth. The keyboard is impressively thin save a ridge that runs along the top edge which also gives it a convenient rake. There’s a removable top panel which gives access to the battery compartment plus storage for the dongle (which the mouse also features). The unit features non-slip rubber feet which keep it firm during use. Unlike some keyboards, the slope of the keyboard is set and there are no adjustable feet.In use the keyboard feels nice – it has Chiclet style keys which have a satisfying amount of travel and a soft click. The layout of the keys is logical but given that this is a portable keyboard the inclusion of numeric pad rather than shift keys to access numbers makes it longer than it would otherwise be.Overall, though this keyboard is a pleasure to use and comfortable for prolonged use even though it’s designed to be portable. My sample is white with grey key markings, however, I personally prefer the more obvious contrast of white legends on black keys.Although designed for Windows 10 I found the keyboard worked okay with a MacBook – the Windows key effectively becoming the command key. One surprising omission though for a portable keyboard is that there’s no on/off switch so if you put this unit in your bag it could still consume power if the keys got pressed. The bundled mouse is easy to use and very comfortable to use – it is an uncluttered low profile design with a very mildly ratcheted scroll wheel. In use, the left and right buttons are comfortable and near-silent although affirmative in operation. Accuracy and acceleration are good too plus it fits my hand perfectly making it usable for long periods. The general feel of this combo package is one of thoughtful design and decent quality plus, even if the battery life was half that in the spec it would still be good. This package strikes me as being ideal for a budget-conscious daily user at home, in the office and occasionally on the move too – whilst not flawless, there’s a lot to like about it.

I've used several different sets of keyboards/mice over the years, from the ranging from the early chunky-style Microsoft peripherals to the super-slim Apple Magic Keyboard/Mouse. This particular keyboard/mouse set is closer to the slim Apple-style, and it manages to balance aesthetics and ergonomics well. The keyboard is actually much heavier than I thought it would be, but that's no bad thing from my perspective, and it minimises the risk of accidentally knocking it. The mouse on the other hand is much lighter than I was expecting, but that's probably down to user preference - I personally like the heavier Logitech MX Anywhere mice, but this is still pleasant to use.In terms of use,the keyboard is very comfortable to use, but it's not as quiet as I was expecting it to be, based on the claims on the side of the box. Personally, I don't mind a loud keyboard, so it's not much of an issue for me, but if you are expecting something close to silent (or "Whisper quiet" as they refer to it) then this may be a bit louder than you're expecting. The mouse feels quite simple, and not as solid as most standalone mice, but it's comfortable enough to use. Both the keyboard and mouse are powered by 2 x AAA and 1 x AA batteries respectively. I would have preferred them both to use 2 x AAA batteries, as I use rechargeable batteries which can only be charged in pairs, so I constantly have one spare AA batter knocking around. It's not a deal-breaker though. The mouse battery is replaced easily enough, as the top of the mouse is held down by small magnets. It does mean that top comes off much more easily than it otherwise would, but it does mean that it's easy to change the batteries. The keyboard on the other hand has a more awkward method, which requires you to 'snap' the grey cover off to get at the batteries. It hasn't caused any real issues yet, but it feels quite fragile and I'm concerned that this may eventually end up breaking. There is also a very long empty tray underneath the cover at the top of the keyboard (I'm not sure what this is actually for), and a small storage area for the wireless dongle. The dongle itself is very small, and works well, with a good range and no issues with drop-outs. There is no bluetooth compatibility, but the dongle is so small that it shouldn't be an issue for most setups.Overall it's a decent quality keyboard and mouse, and aside from the keyboard cover issue, I've found it very pleasant to use.

Both the mouse and keyboard look smart and stylish and both are slightly smaller than a conventional wired keyboard and mouse, in keeping with the minimalist look that a lack of wires gives using these products. The mouse offers three buttons (with the mouse wheel also doubling as a button) with the keyboard giving full size keys, but overall being smaller than a typical wired keyboard due to the lack of dedicated cursor and insert/home/pgup etc. keys normally found between the main keyboard and numeric keypad. The mouse is powered by a single AAA battery which makes it relatively light for a wireless mouse, and the keyboard two AAAs. Egonomically both keyboard and mouse feel good in use,and I was pleased to see that the keyboard in particiular has keys which have a reasonable degree of travel. Not to the same degree as a full sized wired keyboard, but enough to give you the feedback needed to know that you've depressed the key fully. The keyboard also has a storage slot for the USB dongle that you plug in to your PC, which is a nice touch if you want to pack the set up for travel, but I expect completely redundant for most people.I am actually using this in a CCTV DVR system, not a PC, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it worked first time without any set-up on the CCTV system at all. I just plugged in the dongle and off it went, working first time. No idea what operating system the DVR system uses, probably Linux or Android, but its good to know that the mouse/keyboard worked without any configuration or driver installation at all.So all in all I'm impressed with how this set has performed - the only let down is a complete lack of documentation and on-line support. The box comes with minimal pictorial instructions which are enough to get you going, and this includes a web address to a support page. The web link has download, FAQ, specifications and getting started sections amongst others but all of them are empty - so there is no driver download, no manual and no FAQs. Not the end of the world but it would have been nice to at least be able to download a manual and to know how long I can expect the battery to last. For example, I noticed that the mouse has an on/off button underneath (the keyboard does not), but there's no mention of this anywhere in the minimal instructions so I don't know whether I'm supposed to be switching it off after each use (I hope not!)

Bought to replace a smaller keyboard that came with an all in one Lenovo. That original keyboard although heavier, solid & with flat easy use keys had a number of key problems in terms of layout. The Logitech is larger and with the similar tactile response in the keys to older computers or wordprocessors. I required a good sized and well placed delete key, Enter key, backspace as well as the number keys to the right. The original Lenovo had a very small delete, backspace and enter key. Ideal for perhaps the fingers of a child or a trained bush-baby. I am neither.I needed a clear, full sized layout with old timers attention to the simple direct use of delete etc. This it has.Add to this the benefit of a secondary back space above the number key layout, neat F function keys, and the top layer of immediate response keys that control mail, music, home of a browser, control of volume in 3 separate keys, a window reducer (zap, window minimizes)...all straight forward. Oh and there is even a button that delivers an onscreen calculator. However, the drawbacks. Whisper quiet the keys are not. They are the standard plasticy pitched tap tap. The keyboard is light, almost to the point where it feels a touch cheap. The top layer of buttons mentioned have black on grey print which needs plenty of light to discern, these could have used a light or lighter print. And to cap this the one star removal is because, as with most keyboards these days, not all, this one has no indication of caps lock or number lock or scroll lock. Which despite the technobods who make these things ideas, is really a ludicrous omission...yes, even in this day and age of poking things with pens and little typing.Overall a practical, easily understood old style tactile qwerty keyboard with more than enough buttons without being flashy or over loaded. With better build quality and a couple of teeny lights for caps, this would be excellent. Reminded me of the old BBC computers and my Acorn Electron.Incidentally the mouse that comes in the package is rather small, for small hands. And lacks the click buttons at the side which i use a lot, for backwards etc on browsers. A minor niggle, but it's small and doesn't have much heft. Which to some might be a blessing.

There are many wireless keyboard and mouse sets out there to choose from but, even now, the Logitech name signifies the product will be good quality and this new slim wireless keyboard and mouse set is no exception.Arriving in a long card box with card inserts, the keyboard lifts out and feels pretty light. It has a grey back section that looks more like it should be a shoulder rest at the front but actually provides a space for some chunky legs to ensure that the keyboard is tilted forward at a comfortable angle and also provides an indent that is perfect for holding a pen in and presumably also holds the battery, allowing for a longer life. The MK470 and mouse use a wireless dongle rather than the Bluetooth found in the more expensive model but this is fairly standard and means it will be easy to fit to any PC or device that has a spare USB 2.0 or 3.0 port, including TVs. My LG 4K smart TV also accepted the keyboard.Using this with my laptop, I was able to type more comfortably. The Logitech keyboard is a little more cramped than a full size one, with the numberpad being right up next to the main keyboard and pushing the Insert, Delete and other keys up to the top of the numberpad instead. It also means you get laptop style arrow keys where the small up and down arrows are sandwiched between the right and left ones. It does take a little getting used to if you normally use a full sized keyboard, but the spacing between keys isn't bad and I still managed to touchtype comfortably on it.The mouse, too, has been squashed down to its bare minimum form but somehow retains its comfort. It is raised at the front rather than the back to provide a little more lift to your wrist and help ergonomically. The scroll wheel is smooth and responsive and the buttons are placed well, though don't go expecting too many of them, there are only the 2 plus scroll wheel. The 1000dpi keeps things smooth for office work and general day to day computing. This set is great for students and those looking to keep a clean and minimal office space on a smaller desk. The keyboard and mouse both feel good to use and are designed to be comfortable while saving space at the same time.

Keyboards can be a very personal thing indeed. The day was when I couldn't used anything other than a full size cherry keyboard with lots of movement on the keys; but I am older now and have had to use a lot of other keyboards and whereas the low amount of travel on these keys may not be my first choice, I very quickly became accustomed and actually fond of this style of keyboard. The design gives it a lift at the top so that the keyboard is angled in a very appropriate fashion.Firstly, this keyboard is very attractive and is "apple-white" so looks good with almost anything you pair it with. A single USB dongle plugs into any free slot and it takes wireless data from both the keyboard and the mouse.Logitech have always made very good mice, but personally, I think this is a little low profile mouse is a little too thin - I am used to a "lump" in the palm of my hand, so much more so than the keyboard this wouldn't be my first choice....except that the longer I have worked with it the more comfortable I have become!! (How fickle I am !)Basically, the batteries are already fitted (2 AAA in the keyboard and 1 AA in the mouse) and you just pull away the contact cover and hey presto they both work. They claim that the battery in the keyboard will last 3 years and the one in the mouse 18 months...I doubt I will be confirming this...but clearly Logitech have thought this through and have made it easy to work from out of the box. Windows 10 detected and installed the drivers in less than 45 seconds and all worked immediately. This is a high quality product and I would have been hesitant to have bought this without trying it, but now that I have given it some time I can clearly declare that this is indeed a great mouse and keyboard bundle. The keyboard is absolutely exceptional and the mouse a good match for it. Definitely when it comes to low profile design this is definitely the one to choose!Believe me, if you haven't had a low profile design before, this is worth it!

I'm a fan of Logitech accessories, but most recently have been buying into their premium end and feeling the pinch a little. However, Logitech's budget offerings are very good. This keyboard and mouse set don't just look nice (and they really do look nice) but they are really nice to use. First, the looks - yes, plastic, but a nice quality and feel. Both are low profile and more than solid enough for the job. The mouse doesn't have the granite-like heft of the MX Master, but then, it's a fraction of the price and is much better as a portable option. The keyboard doesn't have the complete lack of flex of the MX Keys, but never feels unstable or weak. The premium products are built to be be better than they need to be,whereas the budget ones are built to be as good they should be.In use, both items are very quite. How noisy are your keyboard and mouse? You'll be surprised after using these just how much noise is now missing from your life. Even the (expensive) Apple Magic Keyboard 2 seems super-clackety in comparison. In use, the actuation of keys and buttons is soft and smooth, but with very nice and positive feedback. The mouse is equally good for left- and right-handers and very easy to live with for long work sessions. The reported battery life of these items is incredible - but cannot be verified yet. Nonetheless, while I was thinking that a USB-rechargeable battery would have been nice in both, it doesn't seem that's really needed. If you want the absolute ultimate combo, there are much pricier options out there, but for 95% of the time, you will find this combo more than good enough. The only miss thing you might miss is backlighting if you're a nightowl.

This is a smart and good quality slimline wireless keyboard and mouse combo from my go-to brand for this sort of thing - Logitech. It is really simple to use out-the-box as you just plug in the nano receiver and everything just works. The keyboard is a slight compromise in that you have shallow-travel keys, a half-height Enter key, a squashed set of arrow keys and the numeric keypad is butted up against the main section of the keyboard, but what you lose in roomy layout you gain in low-profile and smaller overall footprint. Plus it manages to maintain a great overall quality feel about it.The mouse I’m perhaps a little bit less keen on, in that it is a non-ergonomic, ambidextrous design.Granted this will be of equal use to southpaws as much as right-hookers, but it’s rather shallow in height so doesn’t really sit in the hand all-that comfortably. It’s ok for casual use, but if you do a lot of mouse-based activities you might find this one is not going to feel all-that special. It works well though, and the click and wheel action are the usual Logitech standard (i.e. - Good). For a price of c. £45 (at time of review), I think you’re paying a premium here for the slimline and space-saving nature of what’s on offer, so if that factor is of utmost importance to you then it might be worth it, but otherwise I think Logitech (and others) offer better value alternatives, and if you don’t need a pocket-friendly ambidextrous mouse, then you might want to look for other ones as that is the weak link in this package.

I've used this set to replace a wired keyboard and mouse on an old iMac desktop computer for my nephews to use. This is a pretty good looking and unobtrusive set that generally blends in with the white/aluminium of the iMac. I wouldn't swap on my main computer, as I don't like the feel and look of the all-plastic outer construction of the keyboard as much I do the aluminium of my Magic Keyboard - but it was a close-run thing, as I do prefer the fact that this Logitech board is full sized, including the number pad, and full-sized arrow keys. If I'd been offered this set about a year ago (before I got used to working without the number pad and the ultra-low profile of the Magic Keyboard),I would probably have swapped.Neither of the pieces of this set is particularly ergonomic in design - but everything is quite small, neat, and unobtrusive. I like that the keyboard is a light-touch membrane version, quite sensitive, and pretty quiet to use. Although low height, and shallow in profile, this does have a more built-up back section, raising it appreciably more than the angle on my usual keyboard. The mouse is similarly nice and neat, though very plasticky in build. It's compact - really quite short (about 25% shorter than my Magic Mouse) - and has a shallow and fairly flat profile. It's not remotely ergonomic, but it is effective, compact, doesn't take up much room in a small workspace - and not too large for children's smaller hands.

I've been using Logitech wireless desktops for ages, and this one's as easy to use as I have come to expect. It's a little smaller than a full-sized keyboard, but the keys are big enough for normal adult use: I have 'fat fingers' and can touch-type quite adequately here. While it is light, it's got enough body to feel stable. It works immediately on my Windows 10 computer and my Android tablet. The tablet's a bit old - I'm not guaranteeing functionality with every Android device, but I should say the chances are good! The keys are low-profile but not flat. They're quiet but there is a soft 'click', which I find helpful while typing. The keyboard doesn't have legs but a raised section on the reverse keeps it at a good angle.Raised indicators are present on the F, J and 5 keys.Things you need to know:There's no shift lock indicatorThere's no print screen keyKeyboard has no on/off switch; it goes into battery-saving mode when not usedMouse has a switch and full range of mouse functionsTo replace the keyboard battery, slide the top section off.At £44 currently, I do consider this somewhat expensive. Most of my £25-ish Logitech devices have died or broken after a couple of years (I'm a hard user) and, for all I know, this one may last longer. Either way, it's a good choice if you need to carry your mouse & keyboard around with you - or if you just like the streamlined look!

Okay, so I'm typing this on this keyboard, and I've got to say that it's a fairly average experience if you're used to full size keyboards. The keys don't travel as far, but I would say they are most likely an improvement over a laptop keyboard. You can touch-type on they keyboard, if you are used to touch-typing, without looking at the screen. There's the added bonus of this keyboard being compact, and much more compact than most standard keyboards.I'll list the positives I've found:- There's a good weight to the keyboard, so it feels solid- There is no flex when typing- The return/enter key is a good size for typing- The scroll wheel on the mouse is nice and big- The keyboard saves space compared to a full-size keyboardNegatives I've found- As previously mentioned, the keys don't travel very far- There is no angle adjustment- The mouse doesn't feel very ergonomic or comfortable- Feels a little overpriced- There are no lights for power, caps lock, etc (presumably to extend battery life)I have another Logitech wireless keyboard setup, the K270/M185 and the battery life on those is excellent (although they do both have on/off switches). This keyboard / mouse setup only has an on/off switch on the mouse, but not the keyboard, and the mouse switch will switch both the keyboard and the mouse off. On the K270/M185 I can switch them on/off independently.
