Although the reviews on Amazon are really good, I'm going to address the criticisms that different people - mostly gamers - from different fora, and then discuss how I feel about each "issues."Criticism #1: Romer-G switchesLogitech has decided to use different switches for their top-of-the-line keyboard, rather than going with what their competitors use. By using the "Romer-G" switches, Logitech claims that the gamers will benefit from faster input speed. However, the biggest criticism that I've seen from people was that these switches give a bit of "mushy" feeling like the membrane keyboards. To this criticism, I can confirm that it DOES indeed have a bit of that mushy feeling. However,I felt that it was a different type of "mushiness". It feels as if the switches are padded, that when I press down, I still feel get that mechanical feel. It does not feel as crisp as the other ones, but it's not something that is so annoying that you can't use it.Criticism #2: Cramped keys / shape of the keysI think this is somewhat of a problem when you switch to a different keyboard. However, I don't think that problem is because the keys are cramped together. I think the problem is because of the way the keys are shaped. Due to its unique, angled shape, when typing, I can see why some people have complained about mistyping. However, it didn't take me too long to get used to it, and to be honest, it wasn't even something that bothered me. Really, there wasn't much of "adjusting" to the layout and the shape of the keys. Once you "adjust" to the new format, my typing speed actually increased; so it's not all that bad.My personal findings that I didn't really like about:#1: Logitech's softwareIt's very frustrating to realize that it's very difficult to change LED profiles with a macro button. You can find a direction online, but it still didn't help me in enabling me to cycle through the LED color schemes by pressing a button on the keyboard. One would expect that with the hefty price tag and the amount of technology that went into the keyboard, it shouldn't be difficult to do such a thing.Compared to the Corsair's software, the software is so limited, that you won't be able to do all the cool things with the LEDs like people have with the Corsair's RGB keyboards. G910s don't have the non-RGB model, but for Corsairs, they have the corresponding non-RGB models, where the functionalities are exactly the same, except for the fact that you can change / play with the colors. So if you're into the colors, you might want to think about this.#2: Lack of USB passthroughUnlike other keyboards, it lacks a USB port on the keyboard itself. Now, by not having a USB port on the keyboard, G910 doesn't have you plug in 2-USBs on your computer. However, as someone that uses a headset only when I play game, it's much easier to just plug the headset into the keyboard and unplug it when I'm not using the headset. I really do miss that capability. It's not a deal-breaker, but if I still had my old desktop with a dead front USB header, I would have found it extremely annoying to plug the headset and unplug the headset to/from the back of my desktop.#3: The height of the G910You can adjust the height of the G910 with the feet near the top of the G910. However, it doesn't make it as slanted as I personally would like. It's something that I'd gotten used to quickly, but it did make me feel a bit weird when I first started using it.#4: Lack of alternate keycapsWith other keyboards, you can easily swap out the keycaps with customized ones. However, with these, especially when some people don't like the "ergonomics" of the keycaps, there just aren't third-party alternatives. The only other option is getting a set straight from Logitech, that costs 40 bucks. They make all the keys into the "standard" ergonomic shape.Things I like about the G910#1: The colors of LEDI'm not talking about the colors themselves, but the colors emitting from the keyboards. I really like the way the colors are emitted on the G910, compared to the other RGB keyboards. Logitech claims that they have put the LEDs in the middle of the switches, and I think it definitely does the trick. The colors look so much neater with the G910 than the other ones.#2: Placement of macro buttonsI really like the macro buttons are separated into 2 parts: leftmost corner, and top of F1-F4 keys. If they had all the macros to the leftmost corner like the K95s, I would have difficult time reaching there while I game.#3: Arx control dockTo be honest, it's just a sliding, cheap plastic where you can put your cellphone or phablet that can display information. The app developer screwed up, because the buttons on the app are located on the bottom, and it's not easy to reach there when the device is sitting in the dock. Furthermore, it says they "naturally support" the game that I play: CS:GO, but I can't seem to get it to work. However, I still said that I like it, because even if I can't see my in-game details, it would be nice if I can. Even if I can't, it still allows me to change certain things - like my Logitech G502 sensitivity through the app, which can be beneficial, when you don't want to alt-tab out of the game. Conclusion:I'm very happy with the G910 overall. But, I'd certainly recommend it to those that want to switch over to a mechanical keyboard from a membrane, or a person not totally into the mainstream switches.

I am writing this review from my new Logitech Orion Spark G910 and would like to point out that I am not being paid or compensated in any way for writing this review. I just want people to have some solid information to go on when thinking about buying this keyboard. The best way to describe this keyboard is "the most ergonomic mechanical keyboard you can get without sacrificing too many of the qualities we love in mechanical keyboards".Keys & SwitchesFor the mechanical users out there who have used cherry switches, I would liken the Romer G keys to the quiet Cherry Brown switches. The keys are all indented to a light degree for comfort and accuracy but as a few people have said, the tops are slightly larger than most keyboards so you will likely need to spend some time getting used to them before your typos come down in volume again. The actuation is unbelievable!!!! I swear sometimes all I need to do is THINK about pressing a key and it will appear on the screen. The keys require very little force before they actuate taking a lot of stress of your wrists and fingers which is great because I have been experiencing a little bit of pain due to long hours on the computer.Design & AestheticsThe first thing a said when taking this bad boy out of the box was "Damnnnnnnnnnnnn". The thing looks NICE. Overall I would say it has a very sturdy build and all of the right cool accents in all of the right places. the media controls are something that seem to be fading away in a lot of keyboards but I really appreciate having. This one even has a mute button and a volume wheel!Still not to sure about the ARX dock though. Its basically just a phone stand for your keyboard made out of thick plastic that slides in and out. I guess is does look pretty cool though. The keyboard comes with two wrist rests. a regular size and a much larger size. I don't like how they made made them attach but the large wrist rest is VERY comfortable so I can't complain too much. The LEDS. Man... I got this keyboard a couple of days ago and I am still in awe over the amount of customization options you have with this keyboard. I have created keyboard profiles that automatically get switched to when I open certain games. so If I go from playing Counter Strike to Skyrim... Boom, the keys change automatically to illuminate the keys I will be using in-game which I honestly think is the best perk about the G910.The lights themselves are bright, but not too bright that they get in the way if you are playing in the dark. There is ZERO light leak on the outside of the keys which gives a very crisp and sharp look to it and you can choose from basically ANY color you can imagine. You can have ANY number of colors and you can make ANY number of profiles. In summary I would say If you like having a quite, comfortable keyboard that still gives you the mechanical feeling and looks super freakin cool, Buy this.... You wont be disappointed. If you would rather have that super Clacky tactile that you can hear in the other room and dont want leave the customizable keys behind, I would suggest looking in the the new Blackwidow Chroma by Razer.Sorry for any typos..... still getting used to the keyboard =)

The G910 Orion Spark has been around for years and most reviews hit the details properly, in my opinion. This is only to update some changes/options over the years that buyers may not be as aware of when purchasing now.The 'spark' board was released in 2014 and at the time was somewhat polarizing. Some loved the Romer-G switches, some hated them...some loved the differentiating key caps, some hated them...What was unanimous was the board was arguably best in class in terms of RGB lighting and ease of customization. Others have caught up in this regard, arguably, but even almost 5 full years later it is crazy easy to customize for particular games (as well as pretty much any software)as well as build a default profile for typical windows navigation.Eventually Logitech released a 'changed' version of the same board called the 'Spectrum'. It uses the same switches but different/more consistent key caps and a completely symmetrical palm rest. Otherwise it is is the same (the software will refer to either as a G910). Around the same time the Spark's packaging was adjusted, and it no longer includes two different palm rest types within the box. The images of the board can be misleading, as most show the larger left hand palm rest in place...A new purchase of the G910 Spark will not include that (and that is my only reasoning for a 4 star rating, I'm not sure why Logi changed that). The larger palm rest is available as a replacement part on Logitech's website for $10.That aside I think it's a great keyboard so far. I've used more common mechanical switches and I appreciate that these are significantly quieter than some others. Anything is better than an office membrane, though, so I can't really comment on it compared to other higher end boards. The gaming software and the ease of customization are great, though. Amazon discounted the Spark late last week to under $90 and for that price it is well worth it. It's now back up to around $120 and that falls in line with a lot of other similar boards (both from Logitech and others) so just do some research. Plenty of youtube reviews that show the key shapes that many dislike, but I have not had any issues getting used to it and have quickly started to prefer them.Quick EDIT: Forgot to mention the other thing; Logitech's ARX Control app for mobile devices, which is what that dock is for on the screen side of the keyboard. This app was discontinued years ago. It still functions once properly set up within the PC G software but is entirely pointless. The UI is awful, the functionality is limited (only really gives you control over mouse DPI and hit and miss options on launching a game form within the app), and the system monitoring is easily outdone by semi-transparent screen overlays within cpu/gpu/mem suites available. The holder on the keyboard should be viewed as exactly that; a holder for your phone...and with some ambient display options depending on your phone...it's actually not that bad for that purpose.

This is my first mechanical keyboard so I'll start by saying that I can't really compare the feel to other types of mechanical keyboards. What I can do is talk about it's features.First of all I'm already a big Logitech fan and this keyboard did not fail my expectations. The lighting can be customized which is awesome but then they also have preset colours and or animations if you want something basic. Personally I set each key/area to its own distinct colours.Besides that the programmable keys can be pretty handy, the ones along the left side are the ones I use the most often because the top ones are above the function keys and just slightly too high for me to be able to use them quickly in a game or program. But binding the ones to the left to keys on the right side of my keyboard is really great and there's actually a lot of commands that you can put into them besides just keybinding to an existing key... Essentially it's a very good and versatile feature.Next lets talk about the shape of the keys. I saw mixed feelings about them but honestly, I hardly noticed anything when i got it and started using it. If anything it just looks different. If it really matters I think i saw the same keyboard at Best Buy without the special keys and I also have heard that Logitech will sell the normal key-caps separately if it really bothers you that much. That you guys can look into yourself. One thing I looked at briefly and then forgot about forever was the spot for your phone. Honestly, it's cheap and plastic and isn't really useful at all. If you lay your phone sideways you can charge your phone while its sitting there but using it with their monitoring software really isn't gonna happen. there's better software that you can just have running on your computer that wont kill the phone and provides the same functionality. Now I'll talk about the software that you must use with the keyboard if you want all the cool lighting features and programmable keys. One benefit is that it will control all the Logitech G series hardware you have (such as headphones mice and keyboards). Once plugged in they will show up in the software and can be managed with colour and keys. It's really handy but unfortunately has to be running in the background for the lighting to work. There's no on-board memory for these settings so the software has to start up at windows login or be manually run later on(otherwise the default blue lights is what the keyboard goes to). While not a huge negative it was kind of annoying to me as it just adds another item to my startup programs. But maybe hat won't bother some people.Other than that I've been using this for a year now and all the keys work fine still, the colours are still going and i couldn't be happier with it. I use the media keys constantly, the programmable G keys too and have had no issues with the functionality of the keyboard. Another solid product from Logitech.

After having the G910 for a little over a month, I can say it is unequivocally my favorite keyboard. I'll TRY to be brief.Pros:- The curved key surfaces may seem weird at first, but now I think they're great. Don't seem to impede sliding between keys at all.- Keyboard/keys themselves seem larger than others, even other mechanicals I've seen/tried. I really like this, and it makes typing on it very comfortable.- The lighting is very versatile. You can set up "zones" of colors, light individual keys differently, create your own effects, or choose from the effects included. Some of these I don't like, but they could be cool in some contexts, depending on your desk theme perhaps.- The keys are not incredibly noisy. They have the mechanical feel no doubt, but they don't have that very high pitched "clack" sound like some others.- The keys are very easy to press. I tend to type lightly, and on a regular keyboard and even some other mechanicals I'll miss a key because I pressed it too lightly. Not on this one.- The wrist rest is hard plastic. So if it gets greasy, you can wipe it off. It's never going to rot or get that grease & dirt shine like a leather or fake leather/vinyl wrist rest.- Overall feels very solid, nicely built, and very aesthetic. The labels on the keys are a very readable, bold font. The lights are vivid and even (they don't flash or change brightness when pressed).Cons:- The keys are very easy to press. I think this could be a con for some, although I like it, hence why I listed it under pros as well.- It's really big. Also listed under pros, but if you're working with limited desk space, or a tiny pull-out keyboard & mouse drawer, that's something to consider. I ended up moving my keyboard & mouse onto the top of my desk and now I use my keyboard drawer for a TV tray/whatever other random use for a flat surface I need.- The ARX dock is kind of dumb and useless. It's just a plastic bracket to set your phone in, and there's an app where you can see your CPU temp, CPU usage maybe, a few other stats. I think you can also launch some programs on your computer from the app. Could be useful to some people, but not for me. Not a big con though as it doesn't interfere with anything if it goes unused, and the price doesn't seem inflated based on the ARX dock gimmick. It's just a useless extra.- The wrist rest is hard plastic. Again, also listed in the pros. It hasn't caused me any discomfort so far, but I could imagine a vinyl/fake leather rest like some other boards have would feel nice, at least in the short-term until it gets worn, ripped, dirty, greasy, etc.So overall I absolutely love this thing, and most of my "cons" are the same features as the pros, just depends on your intended usage and preferences really. Every time I have to type on a different keyboard now, I really don't like it. The final "con" is that I may have to buy one for the office now too.

I have always been a fan of the cherry mx brown switches. However as a maintenance and engineering technician in the semiconductor industry I know all too well that everything needs to be upgraded with the times. Pointless upgrades obviously excluded. The red came out over 10 years ago and was more of an upgrade than a real modernization, fundamentally the same as their late 80's designs. I was comparing various keyboards last year and felt the romer-G design approach was not only new, but actually seemed well thought out. I lived through the death of good puter hardware and lived with the ubiquity of laptop and "low profile" boards post millennium, all while being promised new is better,I was wary. But when the price dropped last holiday season I decided to just go for it. Best Decision Ever!!!!!PROS-I love the shape and contour of the key caps, took a bit of adjustment, but sad they changed them for the G910 spectrum.-Just clicky enough, not annoying.-Beautiful RGB backlit keys with centered letters, Cherry RGB is so poorly incorporated.-Romer-G switches feel great, I can hardly believe I was worried.-The various gaming effects really make the experience. When I die in Borderlands 3 it flashes like the respawn screen, and the color fades across it as my action skill burns through its activation, and more.CONS-The key caps are an absolute no go for some (weird) people, so get the Spectrum if that's you.-The software is Clunky and surprisingly impossible to have same effects between my G502 mouse.-Collects dirt. I work in a clean room thus my standards are high, but this thing is impossible to keep clean.-Did I mention the software? programming for specific color guides on specific games lags way behind game releases, it responds to borderlands, but I can't download a plug in an set up my board.Nothing in this world is perfect, and what is perfect to one person is not perfect to all. I love my keyboard. My wife loves my keyboard, and she types over 80wpm. I got her one, but messed up and got a Spectrum. These key caps are different at first, but so much better. She is not pleased with the Spectrum, I don't think it is bad, I just prefer the Spark. Gamers and typists agree!!! If you are simple enough to believe a test sample of 2 ;-). Not everyone will love this keyboard, but everyone should try it before making up their mind. The future is bright.

Don't like the loud clacking of some of the other mechanical keyboards? This one is relatively quiet. If I am playing a game, with headphones on, I can't hear it. Without headphones on, it's not an annoying sound to hear while typing unless you push too hard on the keys. However, it doesn't give up noise to lower the reactivity. It's very reactive and easy to use. I went from a Razer Ornata Chroma keyboard to this Logitech G910, and it's definitely more reactive. I've had a couple problems resting my fingers on the keys because it'll react to them if I rest them as heavily as I'm used to doing. Just gotta adapt if you had a less reactive keyboard, which shouldn't be a problem after a week or so.It's also got macro keys that are easily programmable for various uses, though at the moment I've been using them for 3-4 key press shortcuts. Allows me to alt+tab, open settings, etc, really nicely. It's got 9 of them total, with 3 profiles (so max 27 usable macros at any one time). This is done through the G1-9 keys (1-5 on the left, 6-9 above the F1-4 keys) and the M1-3 on the top left of the keyboard ()may not notice them at first, I didn't). You can switch profiles at any time with a button press, and they aren't in the way when you're typing, which is super nice. It's got a resting spot for your wrists, but I wouldn't exactly call this keyboard a good ergonomic keyboard. It's keys are spaced out comfortably, and they are a good size. Those are all points for it, but resting on it isn't exactly comfortable at the start. They wrists have to tilt a bit too far downward, which bothers mine. It's got good lighting on it. And the options for them in the Logitech G Hub are nice. There is apparently quite a bit of customization for it, but I haven't quite explored that yet because of my own insecurities -- I get anxious exploring software when I don't have any sort of guide for it simply because I've found things people can't solve in software before and it's tedious having to reinstall it at the Registry level. There are presets, freestyle, and animation sub menus for the lightsync area. There are various commands you can assign to the keys in the G Hub, such as application launching, the macros aforementioned, actions for things like OBS/Discored/Overwolf, etc.Overall I'm very satisfied with this keyboard and the G Hub, so far.

I loved my G19 Keyboard That I replaced with this G910 Keyboard. I was having a lot of trouble with the G19 Due to It's age and was considering busting it open and repairing it as the screen no longer would power up, it would just flash, and the key would only light up sporadically. However, I'm glad that I chose to replace it instead. I had been looking for a keyboard that gave me more customization capabilities than the G19. The one that I wanted was like $1400 and had small color LCD screen on each key that I could program with Icons or even program the letter image in different colors. But, Like I said it was $1400 and who has $1400 to blow on a keyboard.I could upgrade my system to the best of everything for that much money.Though the G910 was almost twice the cost of just getting the equivalent G19S to replace my keyboard with I'm glad I opted for the newer G910. It has the capability to individualize the look of the keyboard for gaming that I wanted. But I have found that I like the wave lighting option as it looks cool and kind of fits with my case which has RGB color changing LEDs in it. Plus, my existing G-Key profile from my G19 work on the G910 with out having to reprogram al of my macros.Pros:1. Each Key is color customizable unlike the other illuminated keyboards on the market where the keys are always the same color.2. Compatible with the G-Key profiles from other Logitech gaming Keyboards.3. It uses your smart phone for an extra display and you can even have limited control of the keyboard from you smart phone (Android and IOS)4. Mechanical keys for better response when pressing keys.5. Has multimedia controls for controlling all your videos6. Gaming keys and fully programmable for performing tasks easier and more efficiently on your keyboard.7. If you know, how you can write script that will allow you to have more control over the functionality of this key board.Cons:1. The only one I have found is the keys are a little to sensitive. But hey, I'm not that great of a typist anyway. You can't go wrong with this keyboard. It is very user friendly and if someone had the programming skills to write script for this key board it could be a good educational tool for kids to learn how to spell or type by following the illuminated keys (that is if someone wanted to write a program for this.)

I like the keyboard but dealing with Amazon to try and get a CD-Key for The Division has been a nightmare. Despite confirming with support prior to ordering the keyboard if it would come with a key, and subsequently being assured it would it did not. Ok I thought, I'll contact support again and get this sorted. Their response? That since I ordered it at 6:45AM (PST) it didn't qualify for the offer as it was before 12:00AM (PST), clearly their marketing department doesn't know how to tell time!I called support again this time spoke to a manager who apologized for the mistake and promised to send a replacement that would include the key this time. No go, second keyboard, still no key.As I type this it looks like Amazon has gone and removed all mention of The Division from their store page as well, probably due in part to the incompetence of their staff no doubt.I'm now returning this keyboard and just going to Best Buy, last time I trust Amazon support for anything even the slightest bit challenging.Onto the actual keyboard now! It took a couple of days to get used to the keyboard and it's oddly shaped keys but now I can't imagine ever going back to my trusty G19. The lighting on this one is also far superior to any other keyboard I've seen in person; it's bright and the lighting is evenly dispersed across the key. There's also multiple lighting profiles but most of them are a bit gaudy for my taste so I stuck with a customized palette to suite my needs. The Ark app seems interesting but doesn't display GPU stats, I believe this is an AMD issue but I haven't found any work around so I can't comment on it's day to day usefulness too much. It was neat to see stats for my character when playing The Division beta but doing so quickly killed my phones battery so I stopped using it after the first day. Hopefully if Logitech tries this sort of thing in the future they'll have a USB port built into that keyboard so you can charge the phone/tablet while using their app.TL;DR:Keyboard - GoodAmazon support - Useless

All the features work as advertised and will sync up if you have any RBG product from logitech G.I used to have an old g11 keyboard and this was the ultimate replacement.Syncs up with my g600 mouse and g560 speakers for immersive gameplay or great visuals along with music. As i'm typing this, the keys feel quick and responsive, almost too much. The key have a very nice clicky feel to them that is remarkably quiet. ARX dock feature is neat but underwhelming, the app is useless and no games are compatible almost. Still useful as a stand for your phone, even with a big case it should fit. No charger is included you have to use the regular plus still. A missed opportunity. The RGB lighting is the best on the market by far. There is zero spillout from the LED keys unlike most where the entire bottom of the keypad is lit up. Makes it look very clean.I'm using the orion spark version so the key are shaped strangely, like no keyboard I've ever seen. I would say it slows down typing by some margin, but you can get used to it. It offers decent grip and tactile feel to type without looking or reaching for a keybind in game. Overall a good adition.I like the media keys, I wish more keyboards had them. They are not RGB though and are always blue. Maybe next generation? The volume knob it #1 best in class, but a bit too sensitive. Also the keys are very large but the keyboard itself is smaller then I thought, a good design. The G hub new software lets you set everything up plug and play and has a good variety of effects, including a screen sampler and audio visualizer. All synced to any other Logitech G peripherals you own.( I have mouse and speakers for a great effect)Not liquid resistant, so be careful, it's also surprisingly deep and can hold a good amount of liquid. The bottom has very little drainage as well so expect having to buy a new one if you spill your beer.(the keys themselves are made of some plastic that will melt at a fairly low temperature, don't ask but be careful)

The G910 Spark PC keyboard is an Awesome Keyboard and I have the Topre YK2100 PC Keyboard which is also an awesome PC keyboard and I will order more of the G910 Spark PC keyboards over time as I see great deals on them for my Christian Facebook Ministry. I like the G910 spark PC keyboard better than the G910 spectrum PC Keyboard. I will only buy the G910 Spark PC keyboard because of how it feels and of course because of how solid it is and the Topre YK2100 PC Keyboards from now on. The Topre YK2100 is quite expensive and a great PC Keyboard as is the G910 Spark PC keyboard. Note the G910 Spark PC keyboard is the best alternative PC keyboard to my Topre YK2100 PC keyboard that I have found after trying lots of different PC keyboards.I also like the lighting of the PC keyboard because it makes it easier to see the keys when other lightings is not idea.I have both the 910 spark and the 910 spectrum which is the newer edition of this PC keyboard and I like the feel of both PC keyboards. Between the two I like the spark better because I like how the keys are angled on the spark which many people might not like which I think is why they came out with a newer model. I use all of my PC keyboards for posting Christian Facebook posts. which means that I am not a gamer so my point of view is from someone who wanted a solid mechanical PC keyboard who uses it in the capacity just described. I feel that most people will like the Spectrum keyboard better only if they do not like the way the keys are angled on the spark. I for one like how the keys feel on both keyboards which is why I like both keyboards. I also own a YK2100 Topre keyboard that was over $300 and I would put both the spark and the spectrum in the same category feel wise as the Topre. I also would not hesitate in recommending either the Spark or the Spectrum. Note also that Bestbuy has the G910 spectrum which is the newer model on sale right now for $89.99. I plan on buying some more G910's. I hope this helps.

Absolutely amazing keyboard brings an end to the search for something that had everything I wanted.I don't really have anything I'd complain about in a list of PROS and CONS... but here's a few things that are totally squee-worthy:- Multimedia keys: the keys are super useful for me but the volume roller is an unexpected pleasure to use.- G keys: useful in games but also for other things like short strings of text or commands/macros.- Colors: The color customization is .... Out . Of . This . World ... and on a level I've never had before.- Logitech Software: fairly easy learning curve and considerably extensive to create the experience you want to get out of it.- Win-key Disable: essential for some gamers who mistakenly press it during boss fights.>.>If you're used to other [more normal] keyboards, there are a few things that this keyboard will take some time getting used to:- The sound: the switches are a higher grade for longevity. As such, they have a clacky-er sound that you might be comfortable with. Happily, I've gotten used to it.- The feel of the keys themselves are slightly more concave to hug your fingertips. This sort of reinforces good typing habits for me.The only true CON that I take issue with is probably more attributable to firmware/software. When my system does a full shutdown (as when running updates, etc), the keyboard doesn't come on unless I unplug it and plug it back in. Kind of a pain, but doesn't happen very often.Ultimately though, I absolutely love this keyboard. I searched store sites and Amazon for months and always bypassed this keyboard for the price. But after trying 2 other options and returned them, I decided to bite the bullet and get it - and I'm so glad I did. It's verrrrrry worth it.

Software: Yes sir. Upgraded from a Razer SWToR MMO keyboard. Moving from Razer to Logitech is a plus. Logitech's software is much better. I run triple monitors and spend a month with Razer support trying to get their Synapse software to work properly. They ended up giving up and thus prompted me to move (back) to Logitech.Key color: The keys are 100% configurable. Any key, any color. There even are a few cool modes like heartbeat and color wave along with a few other nice ideas Logitech threw in there. I personally run a secondary color for WASD and primary color for the rest. The colors are sharp and vibrant and of course you can control the intensity.Key feel: Being my first mechanical keyboard,I honestly expected it to be much more metallic and clacky-sounding. At first I was disappointed by the softer, plastic feel and subdued sound but then I realized after typing an email that I would have gone mad listening to a louder, more metallic clack. So after some time with this keyboard, I love the feel and sound. Each key has a sloped edge to it and I read reviews about people complaining that they didn't like it for typing but I couldn't disagree more.Extras: The macros keys are all in a great position and easy to configure. The audio controls are great and I really like the scroll wheel for volume. I have yet to play with the smart phone app but I really don't care about it. Maybe one day when I'm bored. The "dock" for the smart phone is a bit cheap and plastic-y. I feel if I open and close it too many times it will break. It doesn't matter anyway since my Note 4 has a wallet case on it and it wouldn't fit in the dock anyway.Expert Summary: Buy it.

I actually have two of these keyboards. I use it in combination with xim4 to play Xbox 360 with friends (need a powered USB hub to use both together in my experience) but after a night of drunken gaming I spilt a glass filled with Jack and Coke on it. Cleaned it as quickly as possible. Next day the keys were so sticky and wouldn't function great so I bought another one thinking the first one was a lost cause. Long story short used rubbing alcohol and ripped it apart spent hours on it attempting to clean it. Got it where only a few keys stuck periodically so I kept using it. Those keys no longer stick, it works flawless. Have an extra one sitting in the closet just incase.Surprised me that 20 oz of jack and Coke could be dumped on it and the lights and everything work perfect after some scrubbing. Been using the same one for 2 years now. Keys feel great in my opinion.update 11/14/2018Can't believe this keyboard is still going. Everything works perfectly still. It doesn't look the greatest and I still occasionally find leftover drink spillage, but it just keeps working. I still have the unopened replacement I bought when I thought the board was beyond repair just in case. I have nothing but good things to say about this keyboard.11/09/19Everything still works good. As much abuse as keyboard has taken it shouldn't still be working. The keyboard shows signs of hard use and abuse but still keeps going. I still have the replacement one I bought in my closet waiting for the day the original one decides it's had enough. Maybe I gIt lucky, but it's impressed me enough I had to update my review.

Fast and Quiet Keyboard for a mechanical. I decided one day to look for a replacement for my Razor Mechanical keyboard which was so loud from the clicking sounds it would get rather annoying. I have always had luck with Logitech keyboards and mice in the past so this was a no brainer. I did notice the keyboard took some getting use to but it's just a matter of re-training your fingers on this keyboard. The curved design of the keys seemed to fit my fingers perfectly, I noticed some weird tactile feeling while I was getting use to it. However, now the curve has become expected from this high end gaming keyboard. I have noticed people complaining about the keyboard application which you can download from both mobile markets for Android and Apple. When I used the application I had no issues with it finding the keyboard on my home network etc. I noticed many of the users that did complain probably did not have their network configured right in order for the app to function correctly. I digress, this keyboard is lightening fast in FPS games and others coupled with the memory keys and the fine software I could not be happier.PROS:Nice Tactile FeelingColor Adjustments for Anything Under the SunMacro Keys more than I know what to do withVolume Controls on the Keyboard (Nice Feature)A Docking Platform to Place Your Smartphone while running the Keyboard Mobile AppVery quiet key operationCONS:None for me, but some may say the price is steep. However, as with any computer hardware you get what you pay for.
