Introduction & First ImpressionOnce I had built my PC, I needed the smaller essentials - a mouse and a keyboard. Whilst Amazon was awash with cheap brands all claiming to be 'hardcore gamer' gear - something despite being a gamer, I find grotesquely childish. All I needed was for a keyboard to be black (dark), cheap, QUERTY and wireless. So it was at the massive online seller that I found this - from Logitech - a commonly known brand amongst technology buffs and your average office drone. When I got this it was clear that it is meant for comfort rather than durability because it is very light and the marks on the keys look like cheap stickers. Plus 2 of the rubber grips that keep the board in place had come loose - 2 downsides right away.Time however would prove to be a great ally as everything else I have to say is either a positive or information based. Responsiveness is surprisingly swift considering it is wireless. In other words, it's a lot tougher than it looks.Design & FeaturesBecause it's quite dark, you don't hugely notice the ugly, loopy pattern (looks like scribbles) that adorns the plastic - but it does help you distinguish the keys a little better as opposed to viewing black on black with only a white letter/number/symbol etc being an indicator. It has a goldish yellow colour for the multi-keys - hit 'FN' and you can make use of 16 additional buttons that include shortcuts to home, email, music, windows,'My Computer', calculator, lock computer, power-off, print screen etc. There is a handy on/off switch at the top right which means you can preserve battery life - although the board does 'sleep' when there is no signal from the USB wireless adaptor - again, handy. Speaking of the wireless capabilities, the usb plug in is simple, small and can be stored inside the battery compartment when not in use. It even comes with 2x AA batteries which is nice. Battery life is very very long which is a major plus - its almost akin to that of a watch's life. 6 additional oval buttons are a fairly nice feature that control both volume and media/song control - not essential but certainly a shortcut. By the way, it is just over 15cm tall and about 36cm wide and it's really thin. Not Mac Keyboard thin but varying from 1 to 1.5cm thick.SpecificationsWireless USB Receiver2x Leg StandsVolume ControlRewind, Play/Pause & ForwardUser documentation2x AA batteries3 Year WarrantyPrice & AvailabilityDO NOT search for this exact model though! Because you will only find it for prices upwards of £60! Instead, merely search 'Logitech keyboard K360' - in fact the website shouted this at me - 'You purchased this item on 7 Aug 2013.' It's currently available for £24.99 but if you want to sacrifice style and a bit of dignity, you can always get the cheaper Victorian Wallpaper variant which is just £18.99 - fair warning, it's hideous. eBay will display some equally disgusting looking models for even cheaper - one was only £9.99 (plus P&P) but had an extremely feminine oriental pattern on it, others were indigo and some just had terribly dire Photoshop brushes on them. I wouldn't want to have to stare at a distracting bit of clumsy design when trying to focus on typing. Choose wisely.

If it wasn't for the slight rock on the less than perfect back struts this would have been easily a 5 out of 5 review ... as it is 4.5 out of 5.I bought this keyboard online, because I already had a logitech mouse with USB unifier and wanted a keyboard for heavy text work with my laptop. I bought Logitech M325 Wireless Mouse - Victorian Wallpaper with USB unifier at PC World but a month later they were clearly no longer interested in selling Logitech kit (or anything judging by the terrible, terrible service) despite the fact they had assured me I could add a keyboard later. So, I was playing that dangerous game for someone who needs a certain quality in their keyboard; I was taking pot luck by buying blind without testing it out first.Initially I was very disappointed. The keyboard felt cheap, especially the all important key action and the struts at the back somehow contrive to actually NOT give a stable, angled board but leave a definite and annoying wobble when typing with the struts down on a flat surface.Eventually I came to do some work which required a lot of text typed quickly and I decided to give the K360 another go as my (very good) laptop keyboard wasn't quite up to the job ... nor was my back up to bending over a laptop keyboard for the time the work would take. As I typed I became more familiar with the rather subtle keyboard action and consequently my speed began to increase. And increase. Eventually I was flying along at great speed and accuracy and found the key layout to be totally logical with every key more or less exactly where you want it to be and where there are slight differences to a full blown desk top keyboard the good design means you adapt to these very, very quickly. The excellent logitech USB unifier worked from the off and I had no trouble 'tuning' this keyboard in with my existing unifier from my Logitech M325 Wireless Mouse - Victorian Wallpaper (5 out of 5) and tucking away the unifier that came with the keyboard as a backup unit. While this is never going to reeplace my fully active 20 year old IBM keyboard for professional typists that I have attached to my desktop, it is perfectly good for heavy work away from home with my laptop ... for god knows how much less, as the IBM keyboard, if you could buy that quality at all today today, would be at least 10 times the price of this K360.

I have been using an MK710 keyboard with my desktop for some years. It has plenty of bells and whistles but, as I am not a gamer, many of the functions were never used. For some time I have found the keys too soft, too close together and too high profile. It was common to accidentally press two keys by glancing off one to the adjacent key. I was looking for a new keyboard with well spaced keys, low profile and a firm touch giving a definite feeling of resistance against a moderate force and finally, one that would also take up less desk space.I first bought a keyboard direct from China at £10. It was fairly near to what I had in mind but was erratic in performance and turned out to be too small for comfortable, regular use. Perhaps not surprising at such a low cost.I had visited the Logitech website several times, looking for something suitable but seemed to end up browsing the MK and G series keyboards only. It was while looking up the LifeHacker.com website that I came across the K series. Seemed to be just what I wanted. I ordered it for delivery to France and received it two days later ! It has turned out to fulfill virtually 100% of my notional spec. It's a decent size, has clear, well marked keys, good spacing between adjacent keys with nice, low profiles. Setting up took about two or three minutes out of the box. I had other equipment connected to a Unifying USB Receiver. This didn't recognise the keyboard at first, so I plugged the Receiver that came with the keyboard into a second USB port.Logitech software immediately recognised that I was using two receivers and gave me the opportunity to remove the new one, which I did and, after following the simple options menu the new keyboard had been added to the original receiver. Ready to use !It is well designed and laid out for a medium sized keyboard and has plenty of extra functions. Nothing that, as a non-gamer, I miss from my MK710. I chose the black version as I didn't fancy the Victorian wallpaper version and from previous reviews I am glad I did. I can understand that 'professional' typists at speed might not find it comfortable but for me it has been a completely satisfactory buy.Excellent design and quality that we have come to expect from Logitech. Highly recommended !

I was looking for a new keyboard as the one I use now has some of the keys fading out and makes it necessary too look for typos from the missing letters. I also have special requirements of the keyboard being wireless, light and not have so many optional keys on its upper surface above the function keys as too be in the way. This keyboard met all those requirements. Where the Logitech logo is is a perfect place too support the keyboard. Why I need those particular functions is I am stuck in a hospital bed so the keyboard rest on my chest or stomach depending on how the bed is set up that day. This Logitech keyboard is small and light that I even fall asleep with it on me.When I type I can use one hand too grasp the top, which I must do, in order too use the keyboard and type with one hand. This keyboard always me too do that as my last one did.The Logitech Wireless Keyboard K360 is a black keyboard as pictured which is my preference and looks to be of a good quality. As I already had Logitech's SetPoint software on my system I just add this keyboard too it and added it too the software's' keyboard section. This software will allow you too program the features you wish too use or remove. If you do not want to program any special keys or turn off any functions you will not need the software but I find it very handy. Though I have read it does cause problems with some games I have never personally experienced this.I have not tested the range and will not be able too but the computer is over ten feet away from where I use the keyboard. Since the lights are normally off here I would have loved a back lit keyboard of this size and configuration but one does not exist. And for $30 the keyboard deserves solid functions and a quality product. And unlike your old Christmas toys the batteries are included. All I need now is too replace my old mouse with a wireless trackball mouse which is used on my bed and I will be set.If you need a small, light high quality keyboard at low cost this is a good choice. Remember it is not a gaming keyboard yet I use it for gaming. Though I must admit most of my functionality for what I play is through my mouse. I am very happy too have a working keyboard that I can use!

Bought this for my young daughter's first 'Windows PC'. Essentially, being just six-and-a-half, she's completely new to 'QWERTY keyboard and mouse' inputting devices normally associated with the humble desktop personal computer... but in my bid to give her more user interfacing scope than just the new-school 'tablet screen swiping' ability synonymous with her generation, I was looking for something that would be small but easy to get to grips with and not be too daunting to look at and learn... but eventually - as she grows into it - be as functional as you'd expect of any media-biased PC keyboard.Yes, I know...it sounds like I'm trying to drag my poor little lady back in time to a place where glowing vacuum tube valves ruled the mysteriously large rear of the telly and Bakerlite 'chicken-head'-style knobs were the strange-but-agreeably tactile controls to Granddad's guitar amp... but I think it's important that the kids of today familiarise themselves with Christopher Latham Sholes and Douglas Engelbart's life-changing communication creations...Anyhoo...Despite it's compact size, the K360 has well-spaced and clearly demarked 'island' type keys and a numerical keypad. I found it immediately easy to touch type on (and kiddie found it equally as easy to index-finger prod). It also features versatile 'FN' (function) keys so you can easily control anything from media playback to PC standby. And of course, it's completely wireless... and in the usual Logitech manner, it pairs easily with the Unified Receiver and performs flawlessly.Downsides...? None in this application... other than unfortunately, it's finished in a 'polished black' so while it may look really nice, it properly attracts dust and filthy finger marks. More so if the regular end user is six.Otherwise, I recommend it as it's brilliant... and totally engaging for Little Miss who's learning to use it... which reminds me... I must find out the answer to her question as to why the letters aren't in alphabetical order...

As I use my Desktop PC for a good few hours each week, I can become very fussy about my keyboard and mouse - though when I find the right item I'll stick with it for a long time. I'll stick with this keyboard for a long time!Last week I bought a Logitech M510 wireless mouse and started looking at keyboards to go with it, this one was selected.Good thing I like about it, is that it's compatible with the Unify nano receiver that I received with my mouse ... as I have a spare - no problem, both the mouse and keyboard have a little storage compartment for the spare item. The keyboard is small in size, to achive this, it does away with the six common keys that sit above the cursor keys. Four of these (Home,End, Pg Up, Pg Dn) are now located above the numerical keypad in line with the Function keys. The insert and delete keys are also in line with the Function keys although are above the backspace key. All in all, no functionality is lost. The keyboard works well to combine some handy features as secondary functions in the function keys - things like 'Homepage, Email, Search, Lock PC' - these I won't use much and didn't use as standalone keys on my previous keyboard but it is good that they are there and they are not the primary function of the F-Keys.Multimedia controls are provided and kept to a minimum, the basic arrangement consists of Track Back, Track Forward & Play/Pause on the upper left. On the upper right you have Mute/Vol Up/Vol Down. Keeping this basic arrangement keeps the keyboard clean of clutter yet allows dedicated keys for what some people use often ... I'll use these with Winamp/WMP.I can't comment on battery life, it takes two AA batteries which came supplied. The keyboard comes with some pop-out feet to raise the back a little. I was considering the K340 but a lot of comments about the raising feet being absent and the lack of dedicated media keys drove me away from it.If you are considering a wireless keyboard, I highly recommend this.

Very impressed with this keyboard, it's pretty compact but very comfortable to type on, some positives:+ Nice compact size yet large enough to touch type full speed accurately on.+ Nice action on the keys, they are raised above keyboard base and have a comfortable amount of travel on them.+ Keyboard feels very solid, heavier than other wireless keyboards I've had before but is actually a bonus when typing away from the desk as it helps it stay more stable. Feels like it will last, unlike the microsoft wireless desktop keyboard which felt flimsy by comparison.+ On off switch - not all wireless keyboards feature this but can only be good for battery consumption.+ Laptop style Fn button which allows access to further functions (such has on off or email)through F1-12. Not massively useful to me, but some may appreciate it.+ Media keys at the top, play back forwards, mute vol -+, fairly standard but always useful.+ Unifying receiver, is tiny, installation is very easy and works with the same receiver from my mouse. There's a compartment in the battery cover for the spare receiver. And some negatives:- Keys have a plastic coating feel, the keypress action feels quality but the keys themselves not so much.- The lettering appears to be stuck on to the keys, can make out a dark outline where they've been added if you look very close. Potential here for commonly used keys to lose they're lettering but this is just speculation.- Home and end keys are in the wrong place, located above the number pad, which does take some getting used to. Same for the arrow keys which have been moved to save space.Overall I'd recommend it, nice good quality keyboard at a reasonable price from a reputable brand. Some concessions on key placement to obtain the compact size whilst still using normally sized keys, but is perfect for me - I needed a keyboard that would equally comfortable to type on a desk and on a lap and this is certainly that.

At least for me it is the best one, from every one that I know of. I really have searched a lot for the perfect keyboard, which for me would simply have to be one without the numpad, or if having a numpad, everything would have to be accomodated in the narrowest manner possible, because I found that the keyboard would often get in the way of the mouse and that they would fight for desktop space. I mean, these are the sort of things that one starts concerning oneself with after many thousands of hours working with a computer. You are either typing crooked in relation to the screen, or you have to move the mouse away. At least that's how it is when working in one of those narrow computer desks. In table-like desks you probably tend to support the elbow on the desk and work with the mouse on a more distant position. Anyway, moving on, besides the architecture I also like the chiclet keys, and the multimedia keys which were also one of my requirements. I have the keyboard for over a year now, with lots of typing every day and have had no problems whatsoever, the keys still work great and the key letters are perfect. The keyboard is reasonably rigid and as a bonus, it looks good. Different from the usual keyboard aesthetics, but attractive. As for things that could be improved, in the beginning the change track keys annoyed me because I don't use them, and they are located on the top left corner, where I was used to find an escape key. But I got used to avoiding them. It has a fn button which gives extra (predefined, but programmable) functions to the f keys, but I wouldn't mind if it had specific keys for sleep, programs etc, even if just for that fast, direct key feeling. The other thing that annoyed me at first was the location of the left shift key, because I would press the <> key instead, I even remapped it to be the shif key on my previous windows installation but now my hands seem to have gotten used to it.

For my office at home I wanted to remove the clutter of peripherals wires going across my desk so I recently invested in a wireless Microsoft mouse and this Logitech K360 keyboard. The keyboard itself is very small and compact but still manages to fit a full number keypad, which I really like. You also get a variety of function keys and media buttons which you don't usually find on smaller compact keyboards. It feels very nice to type on but you could argue the keys are quite noisy in regards to feedback. You can adjust the functions keys with custom actions with the Logitech keyboard software. The one thing that does annoy me slightly is that the function key (fn)is on the bottom right hand side of the keyboard rather than the left like most UK QWERTY laptop keyboards I've used over the years. Some keys have also been combined with other keys i.e. Home/Printscreen requiring you to use the function key to use them. Depending on your needs this may be an issue. However because of the small size there had to be trade offs somewhere. The other slight gripe I have about this keyboard is there are no physical indicator lights for Num lock or Power (it does have a CAPS LOCK indicator). For power it just has a small OFF|ON slider on the top right. However if you install the Logitech Wireless keyboard software from Logitech you can configure it to notify you of events via Windows for when the keyboard is low on battery and system changes related to keyboard events.Overall though, this keyboard is a very small, lightweight, portable and best of all a wireless keyboard that has plenty of features for such a small and inexpensive keyboard.

After reading the Amazon reviews on the K360 I was a little unsure about the purchase of this keyboard. Thankfully I've just realised that the bad review it received was made from a rather finiky reviewer. This keyboard is GREAT!The weight of the keyboard is relatively suprising in comparison to the other wireless keyboards I've owned but the build quality seems superb for the price! There is no creaks or stress's when you apply pressure to the keyboard and it has all the key locations that we've become acustomed too over the years (apart from Home/End/Pg.Down/Pg.Up) which are actually better located than the setup on the Sony Vaio I own!I've had this keyboard out of the packaging for approx3 hours and have already written over 6,000 words on it (I only know this because I'm writing a report at the moment and have JUST done a word count). its a joy to type on and although you get a slight key wobble when typing particulary fast it is obvious that this is designed for your comfort to allow the keys to flex when you're moving your hands quickly around the keys. The 3years battery life seems a little bit ambitious but I suppose time will tell on this feature. Other than that, I have tested all the Fn+ keys and they're all fully functioning without having to setup any software, and with the batteries included this is the true definition of Plug&Play. If I have any problems with the responsiveness or quality degredation of this product then I will be sure to ammend this review but as for now it gets a well deserved 5-Stars!! Would recommend to anyone with any price range

well what can i say .my old wireless keyboard started to fault so checked out some keyboards on amazon .looked up some reviews and came up with the logitech k360.unless your wanting a gamming keyboard this is the one to buy .even though gamming can be played on this also .some reviews state that a touch typist would find problems with this .i think other wise .it is the same size as a normal keyboard in the way the keys are .if you look at your normal keyboard on most models the keys are slightly taperd theses are not .so would apear to be spaced out .the actuall key board it self is smaller .i sit some 15 foot from my tv with the keyboard on my lap as my tv has a pc connection and works fine.all you have to do is plug in the usb adapter and away you go .no loading software ect .at just £21 and some change you can no way fault this keyboard and i think myself will lead the more expensive models.this keyboard will do just about everything any other keyboard will do .other models just have little extras which most people dont realy need so why pay large amounts for something you wont use .they are many things this keyboard will do as extras eg. short cut keys to your emails, media player ectthey is no need to bang down on the keys a simple touch is all you need .i havnt found any faults with this keyboard and hope the keyboard out lives its warranty.if it does i will be buying this again .by that time the price maybe an even better bargain.

I bought this Logitech K360 keyboard as a replacement for my Windows 7 desktop PC. As I already had a Logitech mouse I thought I'd stick with the brand, plus, both devices could work from one USB receiver. Installation was a breeze and I was up and running in no time - the Logitech control software is really useful. This K360 keyboard differs from others I've used in that it's particularly compact and the keys are short travel being almost micro-switch like. Despite the overall small size of the unit the keys are generously spaced. If you find yourself pushing two keys at the same time on a keyboard the Logitech K360 could be a solution for you. The keys are also quiet in operation as they require little force.Other features include basic keys for media playing with the standard F1-12 function keys doubling for mail etc. In common with most other wireless keyboards there are no LEDs for caps lock etc but you do get an on screen indication. Power comes from two AA batteries supplied and, in the battery compartment, there's a storage slot for the USB receiver. Underneath the keyboard at the rear there are folding feet which can angle the keyboard nicely (which I prefer). In terms of build this keyboard maintains the Logitech reputation for quality. This is a case where less is more - the K360 might not have many special features or keys, but, the money has been invested in the overall quality of build. I like it a lot - recommended.

I bought this keyboard for use with my laptop, and have very few complaints. The keys are very nicely spaced out, and on it I am able to type with very strong accuracy; it took a day or two to get used to, but that is the same with any keyboard, and I was coming from the keyboard of a 13" laptop so this was quite different. The keys do feel ever so slightly mushy, as feedback isn't very strong, but the travel is quite nice - marginally higher than a laptop keyboard, but without feeling too high. Connectivity is excellent; I have not had a single connection issue over several months of heavy usage, and I have not had to replace the batteries at all (I turn the keyboard off when I am not using it,so perhaps this extends battery life slightly, but I imagine it would last well regardless). They keyboard does not feel cheaply made; it feels very sturdy, and I do not worry about putting it in my luggage when travelling. The keys themselves are a matt plastic, however it is worth noting the fact that the plate of the board is glossy and therefore fingerprints and dust will show up. The multimedia keys are very nice; they are placed a good distance away from the rest of the keyboard, but still within easy reach, and I do not find myself wishing more keys had been included. I'm generally glad I bought this keyboard, though I do wish the keys had slightly firmer feedback, and it can be quite loud at times, though not intrusively so.

I have not got this overlay but I have the one with the 'computer digital' design, but the model number is the same just the overlay is different. I will say that as a moderate touch typist (around 60 wpm), this keyboard works well, as it allows for travel and the fact that I can type without hitting the wrong keys (unless the wrong keys happen to be user error, or bad spelling (again user error)), owing to the fact that there is enough space between each of the keys for my fat fingers to get 'tangled up'.The battery life is as good as listed and there is even an 'on/off' button should you want to preserve battery life even longer. The only thing I will say and I don't know whether this is really a critiscisam or not,is that the 's' key has faded away, now as I say being a touch typist I do not really need to know where the letters are as I type by 'touch' (providing I have the layout set to the correct language), I have not really used this key any more than any others (well apart from maybe the 'z', 'x'), so I am not really sure why this key should be fading. If you are a 'hen and peck' typist, or a one/two finger typist then this may cause a problem, but as I say apart from this minor consideration, I have nothing but praise for this keyboard. The price is fair and for the saving of batteries alone, it is worth the price of admission, so yes I would recommend this keyboard.

The thing about wireless equipment is that: it can be a hit or miss. When you were lucky, you can get a brilliant product that works as intended. On the other hand, it can failed miserably e.g: manufacturing quality, or it could also be the operating environment (interference with other electrical goods) which brings it down to its knee. With that in mind, I thought I'll give wireless keyboard one more try (had horrible experience with the Logitech K750 in the pass). Only this time, not an expensive one AND something that can change the battery easily. Hence I bought this, the K360 version. In the past 21 months, it has served me pretty well. I do noticed one issue however: when I had 2 Bluetooth adaptors on at the PC (one USB dongle, one on PCI-E wireless card), the keyboard becomes less responsive. By less responsive I mean a noticeable delay to my input (1 to 5 seconds or more). So yes, interference does happens. In my case it can be solved easily (getting rid of one Bluetooth Adaptor).Right when I bought this K360, I wasn't sure how long the battery would last, hence I bought a few AA battery just in case. 21 months, I'm still using the same battery that came with this keyboard. When I look at the SetPoint Settings (Logitech's software), it says Your keyboard's batteries are full. Not sure how much I can trust the software, but let's hope it keeps it that way.
