This mouse is fished well with easy grip sides and a nice feeling silky smooth top. I chose the red as it tones in well with the red highlights on my Lenovo ThinkPad. I chose a Bluetooth mouse as my laptop supports that and because you don't waste a USB slot with a dongle. It comes with a single Duracell AA battery. The laser-light beneath is blue - but you can only really see it if you pick it up. The light tones right down automatically if you do - possibly to defeat the young and the unwary from taking a crack at accidentally damaging their sight. It's working well on Windows 10. Setting it up was easy. I have been using it for a few days now. It's comfortable - with no niggles. I have medium hands. It may be a little small for you if you have large ones. It's easy to turn on in the morning and off at night with a good quality switch beneath. You don't have to go through set up each time you start your computer. Leaving it on all day is OK. It goes into power saving mode automatically a short while after you stop moving it. Just move it for a second or two to wake it up. You can scroll up and down with the wheel. You can also nudge the wheel to the left and to the right to scroll left and right on those rare occasions that horizontal scrolling is required. I would buy another - no problem. Update: Two years on and it's still going strong and on the same battery.

Update 10/08/2017Mouse has started to keep freezing up. Bluetooth seems fine on the laptop so have spoken to MS tech support who suggest mouse may have failed. They have promised a replacement will be sent out. I would still recommend this mouse as when it works it is excellent.Jan 2017Bought to pair with a HP laptop as I find the trackpad a bit too lively for my taste. The Bluetooth quickly paired and was up and running within a minute of breaking through the packaging to release the trapped mouse! Have since been using the mouse daily without a single dropped connection.Mouse and Laptop connect well and the Bluetooth works from a good distance away should it be necessary,so far I've tested them about 10 foot apart and found no drop in performance, in reality the mouse is used a short distance from the laptop but nice to see a strong connection between the two devices.I have not had this long enough to comment on battery life. I have not seen any problem with the mouse waking up, it seems to connect straight away and is always ready for use when I pick it up which might mean the battery will fade quicker than I'd like but time will tell.

Just arrived today. Worked straight out of the box so very impressed, I am not overly familiar with Bluetooth products and how they worked but I wanted a mouse that would work with my tablet. The touch screen on my tablet is great but sometimes I could really do with a mouse. I use a Windows 8.1 tablet. All I did was put the included AA battery in the mouse, turned it on and used the touch screen to go to my Bluetooth settings. It found the mouse straight away so i tapped that on the screen then tapped pair. That was it nothing else was needed. It has not disabled my touch screen so I now have the best of both worlds, brilliant. If like me you are not sure about connecting things via Bluetooth just put Bluetooth in your search box on the computer and it should find the settings automatically. Otherwise search in your control panel. It said on the box that it is compatible with windows 8 and 10 and mine is an 8.1 windows tablet.

I bought this mouse for a Surface Pro 4, when using it in computer mode. The pen can be used as a mouse, but it's not as accurate. I liked the idea of a bluetooth mouse because the Surface only has one USB port, and I didn't want to tie it up. I thought about the Curve mouse, which is specially designed for the surface, but it's very expensive. The 3600 mouse is very easy to set up and paired immediately. It's responsive and easy to use, although might not suit someone with big hands, as it's quite small. Some people have reported frequent disconnections, but so far, I've not had any. It's also good to be able to work two-handed, with one hand operating the mouse and the other scrolling the screen. All in all, for the price, this mouse is ideal, and the colour matches my red keyboard cover (sad!). Recommended for general use if you're not doing specialized work.

I'm using this with a Google Pixel C tablet (Android 2 in 1 laptop/tablet). The mouse paired straight away without needing any pass keys. On my tablet the right click duplicates the left click. I suspect that's Android for you. Scroll wheel works nicely and is clickable. The mouse is one of those portable ones, slightly small in the hand. The top, where the buttons are, is smooth matt plastic. Around the sides is a grippy softer feel plastic. The on/off button is press once for on and press again to turn off - you don't need to hold it in. It takes one AA battery - a Duracell one is supplied in the box. Not sure how long they last yet.The instructions are meaningless but fortunately you really don't need them.Overall impression is of a quality mouse. Recommended.

Superb Bluetooth mouse that I use with a Surface Pro clone. It is recognised and pairs immediately and I have not noticed any lag that you can get with Bluetooth mice. I have only one USB3 port on my Surface and so using Bluetooth is a much better option than using a RF (radio frequency) USB dongle. The mouse itself has a power on/off button on the base which should make the battery last for ages. The trackwheel has a satisfying click as you rotate it. The wheel itself can be pushed left and right. The mouse is small but fits my hand (male with medium sized hands) perfectly. It claims to be ambidextrous but I did not know that mice were handed.Overall,I am very pleased with this purchase and can recommend it to others.

I have two of these and use them for my HTPC and also Surface Pro when travelling. As it uses Bluetooth there is no need to use an RF dongle, that is particularly handy for the Surface Pro which only has one USB port. It's smaller than most full-sized mice but still quite tall which makes it comfortable and fills the palm well. The downside is that it might bulge a bit in a slim laptop or tablet bag. It feels well made with good click and wheel mechanisms, and tracks well but suffers a little of difficult surfaces.Battery life is good; it’s infrequent enough that I can’t really remember how often I need to change the batteries. I’ve used it on Linux,OS X and Windows without any compatibility problems.

This is an ideal companion for anyone who wants a compact mouse, without being too small. I use this with my laptop and it works absolutely fine. The only thing I would say is to make sure that your bluetooth receiver is at least version 4. I can confirm that this mouse works absolutely fine with Windows 7 (even though its advertised for use with Windows 10). Pairing the mouse with the computer is a breeze, you just hold the power button for a few seconds until the LED starts flashing, and the computer will pick it up no problem. All in all this is a good quality mouse. Possibly a bit pricey compared to others, but as it functions just fine I have complaints.

I've got two of these, one on my desk and one in my carry bag. It's a basic mouse: two buttons, a track wheel with a click.Who needs more than that? It's symmetrically shaped and not overly large but not too small - just right for my hands. I'm left-handed and find 90% of mice a pain to use. The extra function buttons get in the way, the ergonomic styling gets in the way.Battery life is great, it's got an actual on/off button if you want to use it.It's Bluetooth so no extra dongle required and I've never experienced any lag with it, then again I'm a software developer not a gamer. All in all I love it and I've used dozens of differenmt mice over the years.

Really pleased with this. Wanted something to go with a convertible tablet - so wanted Bluetooth and small/light. This fits the bill. It is smaller than a full size desktop mouse but not tiny. I've got big shovel hands and can use it fine. It is very light, helped by only needing a single AA battery. No problems pairing, works on any surface I've tried, and the side scroll is handy especially on the small tablet screen. MS seem to make (or market) decent mice. I have the sculpt comfort indoors - also excellent - this one is maybe 3/5 the size and feels less than half the weight. Ideal for a portable mouse, but you could use it full time, its not too small.

I got this for a laptop, only i realised afterwards that my laptop does not have bluetooth.I use this on another machine though and it works quite well. It seems fairly responsive in movements and right and left click. The only problem i have with this is the middle clik button.I use firefox as my main browser and to open a new tab i use the middle scroll wheel click. On other mice you just press down a little and it clicks and off you go, on this one you need to press down harder past one click to get to the other click.I wouldn't use this mouse as my main mouse because of this. Therefore i knocked off a star for this inconvenience.

I need to write a review for this mouse to address the imbalance as there is one positive review and one negative review citing the mouse not working with Windows 10. This is a brilliant mouse, I brought this for use with my Surface Pro 4 which runs Windows 10 and it works a treat. The size is slightly smaller than your typical mouse, but for me its the perfect size not too big for portability and just big enough to still feel almost like a regular mouse. The Bluetooth works brilliant (so far) no complaints here. Overall a solid mouse which isn't heavy or bulky. Definitely a hit.

15.11.2016

I have been using the mouse for 4 months now. The quality is good, battery life is long considered that I am a mild MMORPG gamer, the initial batteries lasted for about 2 months, which was impressive. The only drawbak of the mouse is, hence just 4 stars, every month or so, the mouse stops working - I have to remove the device (under Bluetooth settings) and re-pair it. Still not sure of the reason. I try to update the driver but Windows 10 told me the driver is up to date each time. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver but it does not solve the issue.

...Better than I thought it would be! I bought this because I wanted a wireless mouse that I could easily use at home and university. I wasn't looking for anything expensive and fancy with lots of buttons. I just wanted it to feel comfortable in the hand, be of good quality and easily connect to my laptop. Needless to say this mouse offers all of the above :D The picture doesn't do it justice though, trust me it looks and feels like much better quality than the picture portrays! Delivery came the next day after dispatch so happy with that too.

16.3.2016

Bought the mouse to connect via a USB bluetooth dongle attached to a tower PC and I can say it is fantastic. I love the styling and the feel in the hand as its small stature is what I was after. There are some gotchas and the major one is only use the Microsoft bluetooth drivers and not the dongle providers. The mouse pairs immediately with the Microsoft drivers and I had two days trying to get the mouse to pair with the third party driver and software. So be warned! The mouse definitely works with OSX on a Macbook Pro and Windows 10.
