My old Microsoft Intellimouse (6-7 years old!) started behaving erratically a few days ago, so I started to look around for a replacement. One problem I had was that a lot of mice are now made very much smaller than they used to be, probably to appeal to people who want to use one with a laptop, and don't want a bulky device. However, I have always found smaller mice to be awkward and uncomfortable to use, so I was determined to find one which was a reasonable size. I also wanted a wired mouse, as I hate messing around with batteries. I considered the Microsoft "Comfort" mouse, but at £16 plus delivery, it seemed a bit of a rip-off. I then found this one, and it fits the bill almost exactly. It is still a little smaller than my old mouse, but not by much, so it still feels pretty comfortable. The optical sensor seems to be better than my old ball-type. And it's a lot lighter. The only other downside, apart from the smaller size, is that the button switches are a lot louder and seem to be lower quality, although I admit that's a pretty subjective judgement. Time will tell if the buttons stand up to the hard use I'm going to put them through! At £10, with free super-saver delivery, the price is pretty reasonable too. Overall, a good product.

This is a basic, wired, optical mouse with a scroll wheel that is comfortable to operate. There are no extra buttons, just the left and right click and scroll wheel in the middle that also acts as a third button if you push the wheel in toward the mouse body.It plugs into a USB port on your computer so is also compatible with laptops that have a USB port spare.I've used lots of different mice over the years and I think would have been very happy to have had this one at any point in that history because it works so well with stable sensitivity and reliable buttons. It's cheap enough to replace when needed but I can't see that need arising anytime soon.I'd recommend this as a good work-mouse forhome and office.

I am one of those folk that just cant get used to a laptop pad, so when my trusty optical mouse ''died'' I ordered this one thinking it wouldn't be as comfortable or as responsive as my old one. I was completely wrong, it is a joy to use, I love it and hope to have a long and happy life with it. Ok, so I continue to get long whithering looks of disapproval from my son, but it is the only small thing that I lag behind on, I am as computer literate as anyone, but I just find a mouse so much easier and this one is so fast and accurate.

My old, grey, MS Optical mouse was dying (unreliable left click) and I was glad to be able to find a comparable replacement. The cord is as generous as ever on the new one and I hope for the same excellent service life that I had from the old. That said, I shall see whether switch cleaner will revive the old one.One of the listings for this item seemed to suggest that batteries were required which is, of course, not the case with the corded mouse.

My last MS Mouse was bought in 2001 and has been faultless for all these yaers with 8 hours daily use. When my thumb actually wore through the plastic on the left, I thought time to get a new one.Works great but is not quite a solid as the old one, so less plastic to wear through I think. If i lasts 17 years then I'll write another review on the next one to commend it's life.I congratulate MS for creating my last mouse to last 17 Years!!!

A basic optical mouse with a long (6 foot - 186cm) cable. Ideal for general purpose use. It is lightweight and reasonably robust. The mousewheel can feel a little 'woolly' but the L/R buttons don't need a lot of pressure to operate which should reduce finger strain if your at the computer for long periods.Overall, a perfectly serviceable brandname computer mouse at a reasonable price.

Its not flash or expensive and it does not have configurable buttons or any extra features... but its not supposed to. This is a basic mouse that is durable and works well. Don't expect bells and whistles and you won't be disappointed. Great for use with devices other than your main device (I'm using mine with a Raspberry Pi).

My Apple Mac mouse broke so i was looking for a replacement. All their brands were expensive so i thought i'd get a cheap on just to use for the time being. The delivery was quick, the mouse has been easy to use & does the job of what the more expensive ones do.

The mouse is pretty good, but i somewhat mislead by the title. I was expecting the packaging to be really fresh but it was clearly left in storage for some time. It was stale and a little too chewy. 10/10

I definitely hate wireless mouses coz it's a mess when batteries die down and u can't replace them...so this makes the job to me. Nice and functional. Never any fault.

Standard computer mouse for a PC. Works well. Cheap enough that I just bought a replacement when my previous one got too dirty after a few years.

Its a nice basic mouse that is quite comfortable. No gimmicks. No unnecessary buttons to accidentally hit. Works well in gaming too.

For the price you can't go wrong, I had one of these for 4 ears before I accidentally broke it. Very durable and comfortable.

The mouse is heavier than the last one I bought which makes it easier to use for myself. The previous one was more flimsy

I use the mouse every day. It's an average size so those with really big hands might do better with something else.
