Ok, first of all, I didn't have it very long time, just few weeks. Still, if any drawbacks appear, I'll change the review, as I'm pretty sure I'm not going to need to do that.Well for the price it's pretty neat. I bought in local electronic store, and paid £18,9. When I first looked at it in store, it looked all right, pretty small, maybe too small I thought. But considering it's wireless and 'Logitech' is printed on the mouse I thought I'd give it a go anyway. The mouse's outer shell is build using 2 types of plastic (3 actually but for most of us 'whatever!'). Shiny one over the top body where the buttons are and on the side grayish matte(I'm talking about the white model).Bottom is also matte as expected in case of scratches. The white stripe on the sides of the body is surprisingly rubberized plastic or simply rubber, just like the wheel. Squeeze the mouse as much as you want, but you won't hear or feel any gaps or cracks in the body. On the bottom can be found ON/OFF switch which says conserve some battery power, plus it won't wake up your notebook if clicked or moved the mouse accidentally. I personally never was a fan of light underneath mouse and gladly this one uses invisible optics making the mouse discreet during night (in bed) or in low light lit rooms (theater or movie room). Awesome for presentations as its range says to be up to 10 meters, and this is actually correct, maybe lags a little bit the more recharged the battery is of course. Neat feature of the mouse is that it contains compartment for your nano-USB-receiver, which considering the size of the mouse is AMAZING (I know, there is no need for a lot of electronics in the mouse to get it going but still impressive)! What about the feel and ergonomics of such a small, tiny, little, you-name-it mouse? I can't consider my hands as large ones, nor small ones, pretty medium (medium glove size if it says you something). The mouse stays glued to your hand like an extension of it, I really can't fault its small size whatever I try to find against it. Fingers and palm of your hand get well ventilated though! Considering it's not ergonomic (type of the design, not a drawback), it doesn't really matter if you're left handed, right handed, or both, like me sometimes, when I don't even bother switching my hands holding my head in place with right hand to keep me from falling asleep listening to these maniacs at university and navigating with mouse in my left hand. Left handed folks out there, can change the settings in mouse configuration panel to left handed button clicks, which makes this mouse usable for more of us out there. Left mouse button click is OK-loud, you feel when you click at least which is good. Right click sounds different, more dull and more silent, not a big difference, but easily noticeable difference. Wheel is fixed on step scrolling, which means you feel small steps when scrolling, not a smooth wheel, and it cannot be changed externally (apart from removing the mechanics inside, meaning disassembling it). That said, scrolling is silent, not much of noise actually, and steps may feel slightly cheap, but hey, it's not a £100 toy alright? No tilt-y wheel however. I always use middle mouse button(pressing the wheel) to scroll in browsers, pdf-documents, opening links in new tab and so on... But when you press it it CLICKS LIKE NOTHING ELSE!!! You can probably wake up baby falling asleep, or your colleges at school. Whatever the situation is, try to avoid clicking MMB if you're in any silent room, as it can get noisy and noticeable (open in new tabs holding CTRL and clicking left mouse button, scrolling properly using the wheel scroll and so on). At home, in public spaces, play with middle mouse button as much as you want though! The only quality issue would be that the ON/OFF switch on the bottom can be heard if the mouse is shaked in the air but it cannot be considered as proper use either and isn't existing during normal use except maybe when you want to join orchestral beat with your mouse as background noise or prefer to throw the mouse rather silently on your colleges. That said, the top blank/shiny plastic can be moved some millimeter on sides which some of us will name as low quality craftsmanship. Not trying to be a fan-boy of Logitech but they really can pull-off some awesome consumer electronics. From Z-906, Y-UY95 to M187 (google the products if they are unknown to you) they really succeed with this one little gadget. Compact size with good build quality and superb functionality (maybe not the middle mouse button) are the main attributes of the mouse that made me using my ultrabook a true pleasure again. If so is your case, when need a small, sturdy, wireless with high range non-flashy, responsive and comfortable mouse, then I'd recommend it to anyone with these requirements.Ps: The mouse inspired me to write such a long review, sorry for that, a lot can be said about such a small and uncomplicated device actually.

Although I didn't purchase this directly from Amazon, I thought it useful to provide a quick review. I've been previously using Logitech's ultra thin touch mouse (bluetooth T630) on my mac, but often finding the pointer movement somewhat erratic and laggy. I decided to try a white M187 instead using its dedicated receiver, but also I do like the comfort provided by a small chunky mouse (I previously owned a small microsoft wired mouse almost identical size and shape but the wire on that failed eventually). Ok on to the Logitech M187, it's supplied in an easy to open blister pack and comes with a preinstalled AAA battery and the tiny USB receiver. No driver software is provided but on plugging it in to my iMac I found it worked straight away... or nearly. The 2.4GHz receiver appears to have some issues when plugged alongside or in a USB3 hub. It wouldn't work at all when plugged in the small USB3 Anker unpowered hub but was fine plugged directly into the back of the mac. However when I also plugged in my USB3 hub and a memory stick it became a bit erratic. Eventually I solved the problem by plugging the receiver into a separate USB2 hub I use some distance away from the machine. So just to warn you if you have any similar problems. There is a download available from the Logitech website, a control panel that allows some additional configuration of the buttons and wheel but I don't think its necessary. The mouse feels very well made and solid in the hand, not too light but not too heavy either, slightly lighter than an AA battery but a bit more than the AAA battery that powers it. No idea on battery life yet as I've only just started using it but other reviewers have mentioned it's very good. The buttons have a nice light but solid click to them, the scroll wheel is smooth but has light notches as it turns - you can also press the wheel though it takes a good press to do so. The USB receiver can also be stored inside the mouse for travelling. Note the mouse is not bluetooth so you need to use it with the receiver provided. If you lose the receiver (which is the size of a tiny USB stick) it is possible to buy a unifying replacement receiver from Logitech to use with the mouse.Overall a great value little wireless mouse, fuss free as no drivers required for Mac OSX or Windows but note it cannot be used with bluetooth devices such as tablets etc. Also comes with a generous 3 year manufacturers warranty.

This is a great little mouse, comfortable and smart looking. It has some good weight to it, and it doesn't feel like it's going to fly off the desk with a slightest draught. It also doesn't feel like it's made out of cheap materials: I particularly like the matte plastic that was used in the making of it. It has no nasty looking shiny sides or fancy trim do it. This makes it look very smart and not at all cheap looking. The texture of the buttons and the plastic are just right too. It is also very comfortable to hold and pleasant to the touch.I particularly like about this mouse that it has dual connectivity. You can either directly connect the most to your laptop or computer if your machine has Bluetooth connectivity in it already,or you can use the supplied Bluetooth dongle, found inside the mouse, to plug into your machine if it doesn't have a built-in Bluetooth. The buttons are indeed silent. Not because my previous mice were rowdy and disruptive but because there is no click heard to these buttons. With some of my previous mice, clicking buttons sounded like clicking my fingers -- even the others said so. Where is a satisfying feedback to the wheel as well. I've had mice with such tiny, clicky, sticky, or slippy wheels that they were difficult to rotate or rotate precisely. This will is nice and wide and it feels perfect. As to the size of it, while the others said it was for a small hand, the actual mouse feels ok even though I wouldn't call my hands particularly small. I've had smaller mice, much smaller mice, which were laptop nice and portable nice, and this mouse doesn't feel as small as those were. It does what it's supposed to do, moving the cursor from point a to point b. If you need to move your cursor in fancy patterns, you do not need a more expensive, ergonomic, fancy mouse -- you need a drawing tablet. No mouse is going to be big enough or comfortable enough for detailed or art work, and this is not what computer mice are designed for.Not only have I not had any problems with it whatsoever but absolutely love it, both the look and the feel of it. And the colour too -- I got the pink one, and it's the perfect dusky subtle pink. It looks great in my office. In addition to it all, it feels like this mouse is going to be durable and last a good long time, so I'm going to give it a 5-star review.

I never thought I'd get excited by something as humble as a computer mouse - but the Pebble has got me as a fan. I prefer its low profile shape, not too dissimilar to the way more expensive Apple Magic Mouse and, although aesthetics shouldn't really play a part its simple, no frills shape looks pretty damn good. And the simple innovation of holding the top cover on by two tiny magnets will make battery changing a lot easier than some models. Just one single AA battery (and what a nice touch to find one supplied) is supposed to last a year - that remains to be seen but one of my previous mice (from Microsoft) seemed to almost eat batteries. No, for me the clincher is its dual technology support, both the normal wireless dongle and bluetooth. Here's why i need it - I use it wireless with its dongle in my main computer but i also have a Macbook. Now I love the trackpad on the Macbook but occasionally the finer control a mouse offers is nice, especially for online boardgaming. So just one mouse to rule them all - I pick up the mouse from my desktop, press the little button on the underside switching from wireless to bluetooth and by the time I've opened my Macbook it has connected. No more firkling around the back of this desktop machine to find the little dongle, unplug, plug into the latop, only to have to do it all in reverse when i come back to the desktop machine. No, simply press for it to return to wireless mode and I'm back on the desktop. As a well-loved African desert dweller might say, "Simples"!I liked this mouse so much I bought my wife one. Then i had a worry - would my Macbook automatically bluetooth connect to her mouse instead of mine - would she take over my cursor! No problems, she can use her Pebble happily on her Win10 laptop via bluetooth whilst I sit next to her with my Pebble on my Macbook, also via bluetooth. I wonder if that is why Logitech made the Pebble in 3 different colours so people could recognise their own one. Oh, and my good lady now has one of her precious USB ports free so the mouse stopped the need to buy a USB hub.Oh, another like - I'm left-handed, the mouse is symmetrical - so many mice don't fit left handers well.I'n my 50 years of computing (yep - I'm that old!) this is the first humble mouse that made we want to write a review about it!

If you’re the type of person that carries your laptop around, uses it but doesn’t like the trackpad then this is probably a great mouse for you! Its very slim and takes up very little space so is ideal for popping it into your pocket or bag to use when you’re on the go. It only needs a single AA battery to power it (included) and according to the manufacturer, it should last up to 18 months depending on usage. The USB receiver is contained inside the mouse and to get at it you need to remove the lid, I did this by pressing down on the right mouse button while lifting the lid from the left side, this seemed to work just fine as long as your gentle. The weight of the mouse is just about right and the materials used look and feel like good quality. It’s obviously not an ergonomic design, more of a travelling in mind design so Logitech don’t expect you to use this all day long, its very small for my hands therefore not very comfortable but I would happily choose to use this instead of the track-pad on a laptop which is its intended purpose. The left and right buttons have very little travel but still give a satisfying click when you press them and do have a certain quality feel about them. The mouse wheel is excellent and provides good and precise movement when scrolling a page, the wheel also has a nice click to it when you push down on it. Frankly the quality of the device is just all around great and while it might be a higher cost than other brands this is part of the reason why, it’s just well made!I plugged the receiver in on my Windows 10 laptop and it recognised it straight away, I think the whole process took about 10 seconds and the mouse was ready to use, no software, no settings, just works straight out the box.Overall, this is a great mouse for when you’re on the move and it definitely feels well-made. The stated battery life is a good bonus and the fact everything is self-contained in the mouse means that you shouldn’t lose the receiver when you’re on the go. If you have slightly large hands like me then it will feel a bit small but it’s still perfectly usable, just not for long sessions. If you just want to do a bit of work on the train, then this would be perfect and a lot better than using a track-pad in my opinion. I have no issues recommending this item!

This is a fine little mouse. I've used it to replace another wireless mouse that cost about the same, but looks a lot cheaper, and which for some reason did not work very well with my laptop. A key problem with the old mouse was that it would stop working entirely whenever I connected the laptop to a projector; no such problems with this one. It only has two buttons plus the scroll wheel, and I sometimes miss having extra buttons for forward/back navigation in browsers, but this is minor. The build quality is high, and it feels good in the hand. It's very quiet indeed - almost no noise at all from button clicks. In fact,it's so quiet that I realise that I've been relying on the noise to confirm when I've pushed a button - and now I'm a little surprised when something happens, because it neither sounds, nor feels, like I've pushed anything! That might take a little getting used to! I have found myself accidentally clicking the right button a little more than with other mice I've tried.Scrolling is quiet and smooth. I've never been that bothered by the sound of my own mouse, but I have been annoyed by co-workers' noisy scrollwheels in the past, so they were probably annoyed by mine!My mousing habit (?) when covering long distances on the display is to pick the mouse up and swipe several times, rather than move the mouse (and my wrist) in one sweep. Some mice are easier to pick up than others, and this is one of the easy ones. The dongle fits snugly inside the battery compartment when not in use, but is easy to remove. No springs are involved, so the dongle doesn't fly out as soon as you open the compartment! The compartment is easy to slide open; on some mice I have to flex a plastic tab, and I always worry that it's going to snap. It takes a single AAA battery. I haven't had to replace the original battery yet, in a couple of months' (admittedly occasional) use, so I don't think battery life is going to be an issue. There's a power switch, so no worries about it turning on accidentally (though I sometimes forget to turn it on at all, and wonder why it's not working!) It's also fairly small. All of this makes it an excellent mouse for a portable laptop, well-suited to travelling.

A small portable mouse, presumably intended for laptop users who want a bit more control than a touchpad offers. It's physically small (a bit less than 10cm in length) and weighs virtually nothing, including the battery inside. The small size might be a problem for people with larger hands, as you'll probably have to use a "claw" kind of grip with the palm not sitting directly on the mouse and using your fingertips to control it.It's supplied with an AA battery and a small thumbnail-sized USB "dongle" transceiver of some kind; the battery is obviously inside the mouse, and there's a little storage compartment inside next to the battery for the dongle too; neat. The mouse doesn't appear to use bluetooth, however; my laptop has bluetooth built-in and the mouse wasn't found when I told it to search for new devices (the mouse has a small on-off switch on the underside you need to remember to flick.). However, when I plugged in the USB dongle, I was able to control the mouse after a couple of seconds. Whatever it is, the dongle is proprietary, so don't lose it or you're screwed. Otherwise, however, it's ready to use immediately once you take it out of the packaging - pull the battery tab, insert the USB dongle, and you should be done.As a mouse, it's entirely fine. Controls are limited to right and left click and a clickable scroll wheel, so it's fairly basic, but this isn't intended as a super-high-spec gaming mouse anyway; I haven't encountered any lag or issues in using it so far. It's advertised as "silent", in that the main buttons don't make a loud, audible click when used. I'd say it's not absolutely silent in that you can hear each click, but they're very muted and certainly a lot quieter than e.g. simple typing. The battery life is a claimed 18 months, and only time will tell on that front. As the battery is an AA, however, it's easy enough to find a replacement when needed. One thing I'd add : I've found this isn't a mouse I can use on a daily basis. I'm not a huge trackpad fan, but using this mouse every day for about a month gave me a good dose of cramp in my forearm by the end of the day. I think it's the small size that does it.

I have plenty of computer mice, so wasn't particularly bothered about another one but I thought I'd try it out anyway and turns out very glad I did....It arrived in a nice box and opening it, the feel of the mouse is very nice. It feels made of high quality plastic, not like a cheap mouse. So first impressions are very good.On top it has two buttons, plus a clickable mouse wheel acting as a middle button. On the underside is an on/off switch and a Bluetooth pairing button. It comes supplied with a AA battery so you can use it straight out of the box. When you open up the mouse (little tab you have to pull to enable the battery), you see tucked inside the mouse is a small USB dongle.Plug this into a USB port and it instantly works, no driver installs etc. (my photo shows it longer than it is because I needed a usb-a to usb-c adapter for my laptop). But that simple connectivity is only half the trick! If you press the Bluetooth pair button, and your computer has Bluetooth, you can pair up and use the mouse without need for the USB dongle at all!In terms of use, it is no worse than other wireless mice I have used for responsiveness. It'll never be as good as decent wired mouse (eg the gaming mice I have), and indeed if that is your objective then definitely stick with a decent wired mouse.Ergonomically, for such a small mouse it is very good, but again will never be as good as a decent full sized mouse. However what it seems design for and where it really excels is as a mouse you put in your laptop bag, and to use that with your laptop when you are on the go, instead of having to use the trackpad.Another impressive advantage is the mouse buttons are very quiet (check the video), useful if you don't want to disturb people (eg on the train or in a library).Pros- high quality premium feel- good ergonomically for a small mouse- supports both Bluetooth and wireless USB- only a single battery, claiming a very long battery life- highly portable- very quiet operationCons- nonePrice wise (£20 at time of review), it's not very expensive for what you get, and I am very happy to say it deserves a full 5 stars.

Logitech M220 Wireless Silent Ambidextrous mouse (Optical laser, USB) for Windows / MAC / Chrome OS / Linux ) - Grey / CharcoalThe mouse. The mouse is blister packed with a tiny USB receiver. The battery is fitted already and has a life of up to 12 months. The battery can be replaced as it is a standard AA type. This is from a range of colourful inexpensive mice from Logitech.Hands.The mouse can be used by left and right handed people.Setup.It is plug and play. Just plug in the unifying receiver and everything is sorted out by Windows or the MAC OS (it will also work with Chrome). There are no drivers to load or pairing to be done. Probably the easiest mouse to setup we have had.The receiver can be left in laptop as it hardly protrudes. It is truly plug and play.Build quality. It’s made by Logitech so the build quality is very good and the switches are tactile and well placed.Using.The mouse is quite small but very comfortable to grip. The buttons are quick and positive in their actions. The tracking mechanism works on nearly all surfaces. I use this mouse with my laptop as the track pad is not that good on it for accurate spreadsheet work. This mouse is brilliant for such work; it is fast and very accurate when pointing at cells in the spreadsheets. My wife likes it because it is nice and small. It is much more accurate and responsive than the laptops mouse pad. It also moves very easily and silently.Overall.Ideal for use on laptops where the track pad is poor or for people who prefer a mouse (i.e. most laptop users in my experience). The battery life stated at around 12 months means that the user will not have to worry about fitting batteries every week (I think this is the maximum battery life in reality it will probably be less with heavy use). Being small it fits into a laptop bag easily. We like it very much as it is inexpensive, much better than a mouse pad and small enough to carry everywhere.Impressive, well made and great to use so highly recommended for laptops and a spare for desktops. It is also simple with two switches and scroll wheel ideal for most people day to day use.

A deviation away from normal expectations from the brand, the "Logitech Pebble M350 Wireless Mouse with Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz Receiver, Silent, Slim Computer Mouse with Quiet Click for Laptop, Notebook, PC and Mac, Graphite" is of a low-rise design that lacks the hump that was previously often said to be an essential aid to comfort and ease of use while reducing RSI and other such problems.Logitech have also removed the click from the mouse keys such that it is now silent and unobtrusive. It can use Logi's alternative USB-Nano receiver, which is hidden internally and stored there when not needed, rather than their more common Unifying receiver or Bluetooth - the functionality is identical either way.Logitech minimised its features to the basics with just a vertical scroll wheel as the sole addition to the standard mouse buttons. The mouse is fully compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux-powered computers but apparently not Chromebook (one was not available for confirmation) although generally usable with most laptops and notebooks. In addition to this Graphite version, there are two alternate colour choices. The mouse needs no software to deliver its advanced features - there aren't any! It is powered by a single included AA battery (alkaline preferred) which provides up to 18 months of use but heavy usage may reduce battery replacement time to a few months.Due to its reduced height and lower weight, it may take a while for the mouse to feel comfortable and 'normal' in the hand although users of a Mac mouse may find it most familiar. It moves easily and almost effortlessly across any smooth surface. Its compact size may increase its popularity as a portable mouse. It is priced towards the lower end of Logi's price-scale so may be worth a purchase if a basic mouse such as this will suit a person's or family's non-gaming needs; it would be an excellent stand-by.

It's been a long time since I've used a wireless mouse primarily owing to channel issues on older type ones which invariably interfered with any other wireless devices, so this was an intriguing option to try for review purposes.I was also keen to see what an "ambidexterous" mouse might work like as since developing severe hand arthritis I've had to switch to a trackball as I found it too difficult to manage a standard right handed mouse.Firstly it's as light as a feather which is a nice feature. Setup was beyond simple - so much so I didn't initially expect it to work as I was still hunting for a setup disc but within 1 second of connecting the tiniest usb key (about half the size of a "normal" one i.e.around an inch) the mouse fired up immediately. I was so happy as I find the trackpad on my laptop a bit of a faff at times too and since I only use it at home primarily for my craft work the mouse has helped enormously. And certainly it was a very comfortable fit in either hand so no worries for any left handers who struggle to find a mouse to fit their grip.Ironically the only difficulty I had with it arose from one of its best features - silent clicks or at least nearly so. I found it quite hard to know if I'd actually pressed the buttons at all and ended up having all sorts of issues through treble & sometimes quadruple clicking. The mouse is also highly sensitive so responds super fast to minimal input. But some of my issues might stem from my aforesaid arthritis so I can't puit any weight on those specifically.Overall, it's a great mouse for those wanting better control on laptops in particular and also for left handed people who need one that will at least match their needs more so than the regular types do.

Logitech have always crafted solid peripherals and casting my mind back to the many I have had over the years none stick in my mind as a bad one.The mouse is a solid, versatile mouse for on the go. In the package you get the mouse, receiver and battery.Using windows 10 I was up and running in seconds, however if you want to use certain special features you need to download the Logitech control centre to customise your mouse further. So, the mouse. It is nice and solid, feels well built enough and that it will survive longer than a day in a laptop bag. An ambidextrous design its small enough to lug around without being too small. The mouse is a good weight and size and takes a single aa battery. It makes big claims leading you to conclude it is silent, it is not. Is it quieter than the equivalent (which I also own) yes it is.Two things though I particularly like. It's optical which gives a truer more accurate tracking experience to laser and the battery can last up to 18 months. The mouse is a wireless one reliant on a small receiver. When not in use the receiver can be stowed away inside the mouse which is very handy. The Logitech control software is mature and stable and has over the years been refined to a point where it is an easy and friendly experience to customise your mouse/kb etc. Using the software allows you to enable different features/map keys etc and it is easy and straightforward to use.Overall this is a solid little mouse from Logitech. A shade quieter than normal, optical tracking and superb battery longevity based on use. I really like this mouse, it's not as quiet as they would have you think but overall a solid mobile mouse that now lives with my surface pro.

I was kindly given this to review by Amazon and I can say that I am impressed. At first, I found the whole sensation of the virtually silent clicking of the mouse buttons a very alien experience after years of clicking away on mouse buttons that not only had a very audible click, but also the sensation of a click when you press the buttons. This was all of a sudden absent from this mouse and it was very strange at first and I found myself pressing the buttons harder to make sure I had actually successfully clicked the buttons! After a few days of use though, I got used to it and I am converted! There is virtually no sound when clicking the mouse buttons (there is still a clicking sound though, but it is very quiet) and this makes the whole experience of using the mouse a lot nicer, I just forget i'm using it as it is so quiet. The mouse is quite small which makes it easy to fit into a laptop bag to carry around and it has a power switch on the bottom for when it is not in use or being carried around. It is very light and easy to manoeuvre. The scroll wheel is also quiet and does have 'notches' as you scroll.Since it is designed for ambidextrous use it is not quite a comfortable as a mouse specifically designed for left or right hand use. There is no thumb rest area for example that you'd find on a left or right hand specific mouse so you are dragging your thumb around on the mouse mat, but it's not an uncomfortable experience, far from it, I found it perfectly fine to use all day at work.I cringe now when I have to use a 'clicky' mouse! I'm converted, i'm just bewildered that these are not as widespread as they should be.

Firstly - It is small - smaller than I had expected at only 11cms from nose to tail on the top, curved part. Anyway, this size suits me as I have fairly small hands, and I'm beginning to think the pain I suffered in the back of my right hand could have been down to my old mouse which was much bigger than this. This one sits just under my fingers with the fattest part (of the mouse) resting in the fleshy part of my hand where fingers meet palm, which is perfect for me. If you have big hands I would not recommend it....it is sold, after all, as a "mini mouse", so take heed. It's light and very responsive, the wheel is quiet and smooth, and the little dongle thing is small and unobtrusive; I use this on my laptop whilst sitting on a fabric covered sofa and have absolutely no problem with it moving over such a surface, Okay, so it doesn't turn itself off, but the little switch on its bottom is easy enough to locate and slide into the Off position. I had expected to see a red light underneath it, like my old mouse, but apparently this is an "invisible optic" so doesn't light up.The packaging was an absolute swine to get into - one of those rigid-slice-your-fingers-to-ribbons plastic things, which I immediately passed to himself whilst I sat back and watched him wrestle with it. I do understand why these items are packaged in this way, but it is not user friendly. One or two reviewers have said they found this flimsy - not my experience. Also that the on/off switch rattles, or is difficult to use - again, this is not the case with mine. All in all a good buy for an effective little beast.

The look and feel of this mouse is quite lovely. Despite being shallow, it doesn’t feel nearly as odd in my hand as I was expecting as a seasoned user of taller mice. It’s nicely intuitive. The dampened click sound- not entirely silent, but very close to it- is definitely a relaxing factor. The ability to connect via either Bluetooth or a USB receiver makes it versatile as well. Functionally, there’s a lot going for it, and the slim design makes it easier to slip it into a laptop sleeve as well, so that’s all good. I’m reviewing a graphite one and it looks classy and professional. It’s four stars rather than five from me for just one reason. I tried this mouse on three surfaces- a desk,a soft patterned mouse mat and a hard Kensington mouse mat. It performed fine, on two out of three. On the Kensington black mouse mat, the optical sensor struggled and the mouse kept jumping about onscreen in small steps as the mouse wasn’t entirely sure which way it was being pushed. That’s bread and butter stuff for mice in my opinion, and it’s been ages since I used any optical mouse that struggled with any mouse mat surface. Certainly my previous mouse (also a Logitech) has no problems with the Kensington mouse mat as that’s a combination I’ve been using every day for years, so I was slightly surprised when this mouse struggled. But two out of three isn’t bad, I suppose. It’s a really handy mouse to cart around with your laptop, for those of us who can’t stand trackpads, but its struggle on one particular mousemat was a minor disappointment.
