I bought the Metz 24 to pair up with a Pentax K1 which is my main travel camera. I use it with a lightweight bracket and a flash extension cable to give me a very flexible system of lighting. The flash is controlled through the camera controls and also integrates with the series of camera PTTL modes that come with the Pentax K1. Everything packs into a medium sized padded SLR case which fits neatly inside my travel rucksack. I use Duracell rechargeable batteries and have yet to run out of power. All in all a very useful pocket size flash gun.
