I bought a cheap drill press (mistake!), and spent some time removing most of the wobble caused by the quill being a sloppy fit in its 'bearings'. The principal remaining problem was the run-out of the chuck supplied with the drill press. This Metabo replacement fits the B16 taper on the drill press. It seems to have less run-out than the drill press spindle itself, and has corrected most of the problem.
