A boy that never grew up I am. Love bikes and always used to tinker with Meccano as a boy. Had to have this and its wonderful old school bolting together. Quite surprised and pleased by the quality of the kit. Took a few evenings of casual construction, but the kids love it and it looks great on the mantlepiece....the wife doesn't quite agree, but that doesn't matter, as this a toy for boys to build. Well done Meccano, well done Ducati.

£30. Took me 2hrra to build. Looks excellent.Having never built or touched meccano in my 27 year life, i have to say it's a breath if fresh air building meccano, the screws, the different pieces, the vague instructions so you use your brain when building. I 100% will be looking for another set as these are very cheap and look fantastic. Great addition to my lego sets.

I Bought this for a Christmas present for my Grandson as im always buying Lego. He is 10 and i thought this looked a really good challenging set for him to build so giving him hours of fun . I cant wait to see it when he has finished building it up as it looks brilliant.

Excellent set for all ages! Followed the instructions but realised something went wrong in the design! I won't say what, it's easy to fix. You might spot it from the photos on the box... See for yourself! But don't let it put you off, it's a great item!

Really good quality and decent instructions, sometimes hard to tell which screw to use but didn't find it much of an issue. Excellent product in all, a fun build that took around 1-2 hours for a 16 year old.Would definitely recommend.

One of there better sets with a lot of metal parts unfortunately a lot of the current range of products have too much plastic for me and it is very hit and miss as to which set are more plastic then metal

This is basic engineering for youngsters and cleverly constructed to make it relevant to their world and a bit of fun for their Dads who might be or have been lucky enough to ride the real thing.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my dad who loved meccano as a child, he was delighted and spent 2/3 hours total making it. Not too difficult but still enjoyable.

Says age 10+ On box. Most boys would struggle without adult help. The instruction pictures really need to be higher definition , but nonetheless great fun to build.

Great item although it was missing a few pieces, fortunately my son found some alternatives. I don't think it's suitable for children without the help of an adult.

Nice product, but quite a challenge for young fingers. Will take some time to build - even with adult help! Well worth the effort though...

Brought for my husband as an Xmas gift, he enjoyed building it and it’s now pride of place on his drawers
