★ MAVALA★ MINI NAIL POLISH★ 5 ml‘Made in Switzerland’COLOUR ~ ‘Pure Diamond/213’With Christmas in mind (at the time of writing), this is a neat little gift to hang on the tree or put in the bottom of a Christmas stocking instead of an orange, perhaps?The eye-catching little glass bottle came in a clear, plastic-type bauble which nestles in a handful of packing chips in a plain white cardboard box measuring around 8.75 cm x 5.5 cm x 8 cm and in a sturdy outer carton for safe transit.The bauble has a length of narrow red ribbon with part already tied in a neat bow and splits easily in the middle to release the nail polish bottle.The glass bottle stands around 5 cm high and it is easy to open the shiny gold-coloured,octagonal shaped cap, which doesn’t stick the next time you want to open it like some can do.It is a clear polish with flecks of silvery glitter in it so it does need the recommended couple of coats over a base. The preparation is worth it because it does look sparkly set against a dark background and will be great for the party season.The brush is slim and the polish stays on it until painted onto a nail. It is also more forgiving in terms of application, i.e. less noticeable if you go over the nail edges. Each polish layer dries fairly quickly and the overall finish is rough due to the glitter but it is not as obvious if you get a chip as it is with a smooth, plain colour. In fact, I think that the rough finish has made it more resilient overall if that isn’t down to the brand, which is a new one for me.In any case, it is a handy size to carry in a makeup bag for a quick touch up, if required.The polish comes off reasonably easy with a remover pad but I find I need to rub a little, again due to the rough texture of the glitter effect.A

Purchased for my Wife who originally found this brand in a chemist in Sheringham whilst on holiday. Never been able to find this brand anywhere in the Colchester area. She highly recommends this brand as it is easy to apply as it is more fluid than other well known brands. So it is easier to spread and slower drying means no brush marks. Can last for up to 2 weeks without chipping, whereas most other well known brands are replaced within days. Colour change is mostly only reason to remove and replace. Removal is not an issue with normal polish removal products.She is delighted to find Mavala product on Amazon, and has purchased a number of differing colours and a set.If there was an issue,it is viewing the colours via a PC screen or printing off from that screen. Those colours are only as good as how the PC has been set up for coloration, so have sent an e-mail direct to Mavala to see if they do a colour chart which will be far more realistic, but they are shut for August in Switzerland so will wait to see what their response is.So finally, I would like to assure all you Guys out there that this review is being dictated by my Wife and I am just doing what I am told to do which is the norm.A really great nail polish that you really must try says my Margaret, and my reward for typing this review is 4 can pack of draft Guinness.

This is a great little Christmas gift- the sort that would go in a secret Santa of for a young girl to give to her pal.The nails varnish comes in a plastic ball which pops together around the varnish and has a bright red ribbon to tie it on to a Christmas tree.The nail varnish is a small 5ml bottle, it is pretty standard to be honest, dries in a few minutes and needs a couple of coats to get good coverage.The top/brush is easy to use, but as it is a small bottle it took a couple of strokes of the brush to cover my nail.The joy of the item has to be its decorative quality and if you want a small trinket style gift it is a good buy.In case you are interested in the packaging of this item,it came in a small, plain white box and was packed in small white polystyrene peanuts and o protect it in transit, but it could also be gift wrapped in this box, which is a lot easy ( -& less of a give away) than simply wrapping the ball.

This is an adorable little gift of a mini nail polish set inside a clear plastic bauble, trimmed with red ribbon. It could be hung on the Christmas tree as a surprise or would be the perfect size for a stocking. If you're making an advent calendar for a partner it would be a cute present for that too. Bear in mind it is very small so it might not be ideal for a single gift as, say, a secret santa.The bottle is easily removed from the bauble, and it contains a glitter nail polish which consists of silver shimmer in a clear base. You can wear it over a bare nail/base coat for simple sparkle, or you can wear it over the top of another colour for a more dramatic effect. The finish is a little rough due to the glitter,but it looks good and you get a decent amount of glitter in each swipe. Overall it's a cutely packaged item, ideal for any beauty addicts this festive season.

I paint my nails with this sometimes when I want a hard wearing nail polish that I can apply then forget about. In my experience I can easily get a couple of weeks from it without it chipping, so it's pretty impressive in that respect.No 64 "Bilbao" is a deep cherry red that I find quite pleasing. It's just a little thin though, and you'll still see your nail after the first coat. Usually I apply two or three before I'm satisfied, but perhaps that's why it lasts so well. The end result is a deep, high gloss solid red colour that I can rely on staying presentable.More recently I've begun experimenting with pearlescent polishes like Rimmel Salon Pro. I find they have more visual interest and a bit more life and sparkle than solids.But if you do want a solid colour with great durability Mavala is certainly worth considering for your nails.

So cute and sweet, this plastic bauble with red ribbon contains one of Mavala's glitter polishes. The glitter is dense and is a must have for those sparkly Christmas nails. Would make a lovely little gift for a Secret Santa Present, young or old or a stocking gift. Mavala do lovely nail polishes and this is another in their amazing catalogue of colours. With silver the theme this goes lovely on the tips of a dark or bright red main nail colour, or you can use over the top of most colours for a sheer sparkly look with just the one coat. For the a denser glitter look you will need a couple of coats. I found it didn't chip and lasts for a few days and I have a hubby, 3 kids,3 cats and 2 dogs so I am very very busy and using my hands all the time in and out of water cleaning etc....still no chipping for a few days! Good product.

Lovely colour - Mavala call it a dark grey shot through with gold, can't see any gold though! I'd say more of a metallic taupe most of the time although it does shift. In different lights can look dark silver, or sometimes even a pinkish or mauve metallic. Very useful colour - could wear as a neutral to work and then through to an evening as has enough shimmer. A gentle frosted colour rather than sparkle. 2-3 coats needed or you get streaks. Not wonderful in terms of staying power when compared to OPI or similar, although with a good top coat (I recommend Seche Vite) stays put for some time. Very nice, recommended!

As mentioned by other customers, the bottle is small, which is a good thing. This is precisely Mavala's concept. Each bottle gives you about 10 manucures. Nail polish, regardless of quality, tends to dry out sooner or later, especially when the bottle is frequently opened. Because of its small size, one uses the whole content of these bottles with no waste! I have tried other prestigious brands, much more expensive, but Mavala consistently gives me the best results: easy to apply, no streaks, dries quickly, lasts longer (even when doing a bit of washing up). I love their nail polishes.

What a brilliant idea as a Christmas gift and could easily be hung on the tree! The little pot of nail varnish is just perfect for the Christmas season and would certainly make a lovely, original little stocking filler. The one I tried out was a glittery, Christmassy clear and silver that can be worn on its own or painted over other colours for a sparkly finish. The container could be stored away and used the following year for chocolates or some other small treat.

What a brilliant time saver when doing a manicure. Used this over my nail polish and well within five mins could type on iPad and move my fingers without worrying about wrecking my newly polished nails. Like how the fact with it being a clear glass bottle you can see how much is in the bottle too. Nice sized small brush for applying the product with. Cheap enough too a worthwhile item in anyone’s nail care beauty bag.Please with seller too and yes would buy again.

A lovely little nail varnish - presented in a Christmas bauble! Would make a great little stocking filler or a quirky tree decoration.The varnish is a silvery with high sparkle - named diamonds.I suggest wearing on your ring fingernail with dark polishes on the rest of your nails for a classy manicure. I would also suggest a double thick coat with a high gloss clear topcoat.

I love Mavala polish and have used it for years. Apart from the great choice of colours the brush is such a nice small size making it easier not to make a mess. Some go on streakier than others, I find the pearls are better than the mattes but generally I love all of them. Top Tip, keep in the fridge it stops them going thick and run lid under hot tap if it sticks

Add magic to your fingertips and wait for the comments with this easy to use "bite-size" bottle of deep blue nail polish, So often larger bottles can be wasted by not being used up. I promise you will not tire of this colour before you have finished it all up. I keep mine in the fridge and firmly believe that this helps to stop it going sticky. Thank you

MAVALA IS SUCH A HOUSEHOLD NAME. I HAVE BEEN USING THEIR PRODUCTS FOR YEARS AND THEY ALWAYS COME UP TO EXPECTATIONS. I HAVE DISCOVERED BLACK NAIL VARNISH AND LOVE IT BUT LIKE ANY VARNISH IT THICKENS QUITE QUICKLY. I CAME ACROSS THESE MINI BOTTLES AND NOW BUY THEM IN ANY COLOUR BECAUSE THEY ARE USED UP BEFORE THEY THICKEN. BRILLIANT IDEA AND INEXPENSIVE.

I never thought I would write a review about a top coat... ??‍♀️ but here it goes. Before I purchased it, no matter how long I spent drying my nails they would somehow still be soft and I would often find dents/ hair imprints on my freshly painted nails. Well not anymore! My nails are now dry within minutes and stay nice and shiny for quite a few days.
