For the health, it is known that the copper cooking utensils are the best. In certain civilisation, copper is used, for example, as bangle to help enhance blood circulation. This is in the case of Vedic civilisation, and the use of cooper bangle as therapeutic materials. French chefs are said to prefer using cooper pan when making egg-based recipe as the end product become more fuller and richer in taste. May be some esoteric French philosophy behind Ovalness of the shape, mmm. This makes what one can cook in one go very limited. We mainly cook Italian cuisine, and Italian cuisine developed to suit on large family dining together, and many Italian cookbooks usually tell 'serves 4' or 'serves 6', as such the volume that this Frypan can cook is very limited. This is suited for a single person or 2 people household when main cuisine is French recipe. Each ethnic group develops its own unique cuisine, and the cooking utensil matches the need of such recipe. Certainly beautiful to behold, and we are going to carefully cleanse with Tamarind paste (this is the most natural way to clean copper to make shine), and use it for Frittata, however the amount this Frypan cook at one go is limited as stated before. So, if your household is large, or if your main recipe is Italian or other large quantity-based cuisine (Indian, Chinese, etc), this is too small. One thing that we wish is, that this is entirely made with copper if possible. Pure metals, Gold, Silver and Copper in that order, known from the time immemorial to be conducive of good health in human body, as pure precious metals interact with other molecular elements thereby producing certain electro-magnetic effects that is conducive of positive results. This is known in ancient Vedic civilisation, thus many puja items are made with pure gold, pure silver or pure copper. (When correctly chanted, the mantra sounds and the milk and other materials contained in the vessel produce certain electro-magnetic field, so it is said by the wise men and women of ancient Wisdom.).There is reason why silver has been used for Europe for long time as plate, fork, spoon and knife, as silver has anti-germ and anti-viral property (Refer and investigate colloidal silver therapy). Gold has been used for dental surgery as gold does not melt nor corrode thereby leaking harmful elements such as mercury in the case of Amalgam. It may be expensive but if you care about your health and your loved ones, copper utensils, silver utensils, and if possible gold utensils are the way to go. Of course, purified water and fresh vegetables, fruits farmed in rich, natural soils are absolutely essential when using as cooking materials. Overall, its nice Frypan, but so small, yet beautiful. May be we shall learn to make French crepe with this Frypan also. Certainly, it inspire you to increase your recipes.
