Bought this item about ten years ago from Amazon. Has been in use nearly every day since.For first time users just google 'seasoning cast iron pan' and follow the instructions to season with an oil like Flax seed oil to give a stick free surface. The photo included with this review shows my pan ten years on as i cleaned and re seasoned the pan to day, giving it three thin coatings. Looks as good if not better than the day i bought it. I expect it to outlast me, hope the next owner appreciates it as much as i do.
