I really wasn’t sure about this product at first and even started researching another product to try after my first use...However after persevering with 3 or 4 attempts I now feel like I am absolutely smashing my brow game! Friends and family have also commented on the difference. Initially I found this product hard to work with, it dries quickly and has very little movement.... so you do literally have 90seconds to do what you need to.I do also agree with other reviews that the colour is darker than I would have liked but I’ve found smearing a little product, a bit at a time on to some sort of plastic surface(I use the tray that comes with a home brow tinting kit)and applying it very lightly in stages with the angled brush works best for me. The full on brow look doesn’t suit me so I quickly brush through my brows after after each application to make it look more natural. Also dampening the angled brush slightly can give you a bit more leeway when needed. I’ve learnt not to to over work the product in the attempt to obtain the perfect brow as it tends to result in a patchy look which is hard to correct. Remember ladies, your brows are sisters not twins!I have an oily complexion and find that this product can smudge after a few hours but only when touched or rubbed. However it definitely has more staying power than the brow pencils I have used since I was about 13. I can’t wait to try this out on my next post lockdown holiday. All in all, I would highly recommend this product after a bit of practice and finding the application that’s suits you best. I have sparse, non existent brows but now they look fuller and more natural than ever before. I wouldn’t say this product lasts as long as advertised, but again that may be may oily skin and the fact that I like to thoroughly clean my face every day. I did try and leave it on overnight once but found my pillow had better brows than me by the morning. I’m also hoping with a bit more practice I can nail applying this in under 5 minutes. It’s currently taking me approx 10mins, which in my opinion is still worth the extra time and effort. Try it, and then try it again and hopefully you won’t be disappointed

Having read some of the other reviews for this brow gel, I was a bit worried that I'd struggle with it because although I'm confident using a brow pencil, I wouldn't say I'm a brow pro!  I was really pleased with the gel though and found it really easy to use.  It takes a little longer to use than my pencil but I'm talking less than a minute more and then it sets my brows for the day, which is fantastic!  With my pencil, my brows look neat and defined but aren't set in place and if my hair is down they're guaranteed to get brushed the wrong way by it at some point.  I've tried other brow gels in the past, which have come with a mascara wand applicator and I just find them too big,too messy and not very consistent.  This gel has a doefoot applicator and an extra double-ended brush for detail work - the brush has a thin angled end and a mascara wand end.  Once on, the gel is set for the whole day and night - it doesn't budge until I take it off with my cleanser.I do one brow at a time because this gel does set in about a minute.  First thing I do is wipe the excess product off the doefoot applicator back into the bottle because I don't need much of this and don't like my brows looking to heavy - natural but groomed is the look I'm after.  Then I use the flat, thicker side of the doefoot to smooth gel onto the first two thirds of my brow (the thickest part) before turning it on it's side to use the thin edge along the last third of my brow (the thinnest part).  Next, I grab the double-ended brush and use the angled end to create a nice clean line along the underside of my brow (just using the gel already on my brows, not adding any more), then turn it over to use the mascara wand to brush the product through for a natural finish.  I only swipe the mascara wand through once because I don't want to move the gel around, just to comb it through for a nice finish, so one swipe is enough.  Voila!  I'm done, it sets shortly after and then my brows are perfect and in place for the day.  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is a surprising little product. Gonna add a disclaimer here - don’t make my mistake and use it like a brow gel. My goodness the pigment and staying power of this product is hilariously good. I had to whip out my oil cleanser to get rid of these brows. A simple warm shower was simply laughed off by them. Open and look inside the box (unlike me) and you’ll see the little brush/spoolie. USE THESE! With that out of the way, this creates some of the loveliest fluffiest brows I’ve ever had. For reference I have dark brown hair with dark eyebrows and dark brunette is a great shade that can be applied to your level of brow needs. I’d compare this product with a high coverage concealer - I brush through my brows, apply a dot of product to the back of my hand, then apply the thinnest layer to my brows. It blends out really well and has a generous dry down time considering the product doesn’t smudge. But it can be built up for a more dramatic higher coverage look if you so chose to for a more night time look. Precision is key, but once your brows are done they will stay in place all day. The brush/spoolie that comes with it is really great quality - a thin fine firm plastic bristled brush and a really durable spoolie on the other end. It doesn’t feel cheap at all. An unexpected benefit to this has to be its coverage of individual hairs. My brows have sparser spots but as I mentioned before aren’t lacking pigment. I tried this on a friend with lighter brows - applying first with the brush then picking remaining product and brushing it through on the spoolie. It covered every hair and had the look of freshly tinted brows. I don’t think this would work in reverse ie a blonde gel over dark brows, but if you wanted to darken up and go more dramatic it’s a fool proof product as it lasts easily all day without smudging, flaking or going generally messy. Upon initial application, it's pretty good. I got dark brown, among fears, the black-brown might just be too dark (compared to the wunderbrow, for example, I should've definitely got black brown. Cant wear the 2nd darkest as its too orangey).Application:applies well with an angled brow brush. Wouldn't bother with the one they give you, it's highly impractical to just swipe a whole load of product on, and then blend out and hope for the best! especially with the darker colour. Tap the applicator with a brush and swipe into the middle of the brow then use excess for edges, so it's not harsh.Longevity:It looks and wears great for the first day of use (say 9am-9pm). When you go to sleep,if you're oily skinned etc it will probably not last on the edges and need touching up. It also wears away as you go on for longer periods, so that it looks a bit weird and patchy? As if you have removed the edges and left the middle filled in. Now that might be okay for some, but since the edges are my problem (i have little shape :) ) this makes my work harder. now I have to fix the shading, shape and I may as well start again! So don't expect it to last days etc, or a workout. then again, neither did the wunderbrow, though I recall it being less patchy.price:for the price point, this is a steal over the other brow product available like this. I would recommend the eyebrow tint l'oreal do as well because it can look a lot more natural, especially with thinner and smaller brows. (tried and tested on the sister). You can time it, so put the darker outer corners on first, wait a couple mins, then apply inner brow and remove at the same time. BLENDED BROWS. done!Overall:Worth a buy, but don't expect natural, unless your willing to combine powder to the edges to blend it together.

This is an eyebrow mascara kit that includes a tube of tinted mascara with an applicator (lip gloss style) and a separate double-sided brush with a mascara brush at one end and an angled brush at the other end. I got the dark brunette shade, which is a very dark brown and a perfect match for my brows. The product is a highly pigmented fluid that I admittedly found very difficult to apply. I found that the applicator and mascara brush both pick up too much of the product which is very liquid-ey and resultantly very difficult to control and my eyebrows ended up looking really harsh and overdone. The technique I now use with this is to stick with the mascara brush and dab it on a tissue so there's just less on the brush and then build up a more natural look, this way you still get the colour but you have more control with the application. It does take practice but if you can you get it right, the colour and finish looks really good an does stay put until you're ready to take it off at the end of the day. I think this is a cheaper version of the Wunderbrow mascara kits, which I have also tried and for the colour and finish and overall price, I do prefer the L'Oreal. It is a lot of effort though to apply and the biggest problem I think is that it's just too liquid-ey so it's hard to control and very unforgiving if you make a mistake; you need practice or adapt the technique like I did. If you want a heavy brow look though and you have the time, this kit might be ideal for you regardless. I would mention I have also tried the NYX eyebrow mascara, which I would admittedly choose before any of the kit versions, because it literally only comes with the mascara brush and it's so much quicker to apply and achieve a softer, natural look if that's what you want.

L'Oréal "Unbelieva Brow" in BRUNETTE No 105• This Eyebrow make-up looks like a posh Mascara together with an additional double ended brush.• The box that contains the two elements of this Eyebrow make-up has all the information you need, including How to Use and the all important List of Ingredients, for those who have to be careful because of allergies.• Using the colour wand, lightly apply the colour to fill in sparse areas. Then use the angled brush head to define your brow shape. Finish off with the spiral brush end to comb the brows. Job done!• I applied the Brow colouring as per the instructions. I tried to use it quite frugally to improve the sparse areas and give a little more colour to age faded brows. However, I found this difficult as there was just too much of the product being dispensed.• I then used the angle and spiral brush heads, to distribute and even out the colour over my eyebrows and to improve the lie of them.• I did not have any adverse reaction to this product.I like the concept of this product and it is just the thing for the younger generation who look good with the heavier, more defined eyebrows that are fashionable today.I found that the colour on my brows was much darker than it looked in the 'bottle' and it was far too dark – it looked a very dark brown and was just too severe.I have always been of the opinion that 'less is more' on the older face, and unfortunately this Unbelieva Brow is just a bit too much on me.I do think that this is an excellent product and at time of writing this Review, the RRP is £14.99 which I think is worth paying.

OK, first things first: once it's set, this does have really good staying power. You could totally use it on the beach or when swimming and it wouldn't budge. It comes off OK with a cream cleanser at the end of the day.The downside to the staying power is the strong smell of chemicals. It's not hugely pleasant, though on balance it's probably better than covering it up with loads of artificial fragrance.Application is a bit odd. The product comes in an industry-standard tube with inbuilt foam applicator, like you might get with a lipgloss. But packaged with it is a double-ended brush: one end has a precise, angled brush tip, the other a spiral head. So you apply the product with the inbuilt foam lipgloss tip thingy, then sort of brush it in with the angled brush. Then I guess you can use the spiral brush head at the end for... whatever. It feels a bit like a fudge, to be honest. If what you're going for is today's "I am drawing two huge parallelograms on my face" look, this will do a good job. But if, like me, all you want is a natural look that fills in any pale or sparse areas in your brows, you'll find this a bit heavy-handed. It's hard to use apply tiny quantities as the inbuilt foam applicator is quite big.To sum up, I think that a tube with a purpose-made applicator rather than a second one tucked into the box like an afterthought would have been better, and might have made for easier application on a wider range of brows. Despite that, for staying power, I give this the thumbs-up.

You get a lot of gel as the container is much fatter than the thin mascara style bottle I was expecting. The wand in the gel is a flat rounded, tongue type pallette applicator and the set comes with a short two ended brush. One end is a round stiff eyebrow brush and the other end is a slanted brush head. This product took me a bit of trial and error to get on with. A lot of gel comes off the applicator, so on first use I looked like "Coco the Clown". However next go, I knew to wipe off the wand applicator so I applied a minimal amount and then used the slant brush end and then finally the rounded brush to tease out my eyebrow hairs for a much better result. My brows are thinning so I wanted ti use the product to create more fullness with a natural type look. The colour was good, the gel is a very dark brunette which looked good on my still almost black brows. The gel lasts a long time and i need to wash it off at night, unlike using powder filler which seems to fade and disappear as the day wears on.It will last me for absolutely ever. Although I already have a round brush and a slant brush, I like the one supplied. I think that is a really great touch as it make the product a lot more adaptable for different looks. I wasn't expecting to like this product as I've not had much luck with brow fillers, pencils etc in the past and have always gone back to powder shadow to get the look I want but I've been converted to this now, especially if I don't want to have to reapply during the day.

This is without a doubt the best product I’ve ever used on my brows!Prior to trying this, I have been using Benefit Gimme Brow 4 with Wunderbrow Brunette over the top, to get the desired depth and lasting effect that I wanted. I did like the results but buying two expensive products, and the time to apply both, was getting a bit annoyingWhen this Unbelieva Brow arrived I was expecting it to be a dupe for Wunderbrow as the packaging is clearly very similar. However, the L’Oreal product looked far “wetter” than Wunderbrow, and a much warmer darker colour than the brunette shade. Because of this, I wasn’t expecting to like it.However, as soon as I tried it I was thrilled! It didn’t look warm against my skin,it was actually quite neutral, and the brush applicator which came with it was far more precise than the similar Wunderbrow tool which I got in a special pack once. (The L’Oreal has a doe-foot internal applicator, and the Wunderbrow has a thick brush inside, neither are very useful on their own). You only need a TINY amount of the L’Oreal one as it is a bit wetter, but for that reason I feel like this tube will last me for years! The staying power of the L’Oreal product is the best part. I’ve worn it for up to 20 hours and my brows still looks flawless. The Wunderbrow lasts well but I definitely think Unbelieva Brow beats it.Overall I think this is the best brow product I have ever tried, it’s my new “Holy Grail” item.

I have thin pathetic blonde eyebrows and have been using another well-known brand product for my brows which worked well and I was happy with but when I saw this I thought I'd give it a try.I couldn't wait to try it out and was a little skeptical when I saw a wand like an eye shadow wand for applying the product. However it worked really well giving a good coverage and then I used the enclosed brow brush (both ends to test fully this brush) to shape them and spread the product more evenly.I am not an expert make up artist but I think the finished result is quite good. I took the photos with no make up at all then just the brow product.I then went for my Aqua aerobics class and followed that with a shower and washing my hair. The gel did stay put and I didn't have any colour running into my skin and eyes. I didn't rub my eyebrows but did an hour in the pool and then had a good shower using shampoo and conditioner on my hair so it had a fair test.I left it on all day then cleansed my face as I never go to bed with any makeup. I used my usual cream cleanser and a cloth and found that the gel did come off reasonably easily and left no adverse reaction on my eyebrows .I have to admit that this product does what it says. I am blonde and used the 03 colour and I think it looks as good as the other brand of product I have used but lasts better.

I bought this when looking for something that would last longer than the previous products I was using. I have mid brown hair and brows but they are a little sparse and undefined.First attempt was as the instructions, I nearly gave up straight after! Too bold for me.I tried again but instead of using the wand I just dabbed the little brush it comes with onto the liquid on the side of the applicator and brushed it on. After a little practice I was sold.A little goes a really long way, and applying it with the brush makes it easier to get a more natural look - you can create a bit more shading so your brows are not exactly the same solid colour all over.It does dry quickly so you have to be quiteconfident and go for it - if you are new to doing your brows I’d start with a brow pencil and play with that to get the shape you are happy with before going for something like this.It did stay on better than most brow make up - a full day of snowboarding and pub and it was still there which is what I wanted. As for longer than that, maybe you need to apply it as the instructions say, but I’m happy to apply it daily. Try not to rub suncream directly into your brows once applied as that did rub it off a little.Came off easily with micellar water or face wash.

The product comes in a slim cylinder with a thick-tipped wand within. Also supplied is a two-ended plastic tool: a small, chisel brush at one end, a spiral wire brush at the other. I chose the Dark Brunette shade and in the cylinder it looks a mid brown. The wand is quite clumsy and thick, much like an eyeshadow wand and you have to wipe off the product on the sides of the phial. The colour on the skin is a very dark brown and my first go made me real Groucho Marx eyebrows. It is very difficult to remove the colour once it is on the skin. This is the disadvantage of it having a two-day life in use. I felt a bit of a clown, I must admit.Eventually I settled for loading the chisel brush with the product, wiping off most of it on a tissue and applying it in fine strokes to the bald bits in my eyebrows. Once it had dried - which is quite fast - I brushed the hairs and painted 'hairs' together with the spiral brush. That worked reasonably well. If you follow the current fashion for heavy, dark brows that look like stick-ons, this product is perfect for you and if you prefer a lighter touch, it can be made to work well too.

I absolutely love this. It may just be that I'm generally not very competent when it comes to my brows but this was so easy. It applied. It stayed until I removed it. I left it on overnight to see how long it would last at 36 hours and counting I gave up and cleaned it off with an oil-based eye make-up remover. The colour was also good - the Warm Blonde suited me perfectly. (it's just a light brown and doesn't have a lot of red in it like some that I have tried do)A couple of quick tips ... the first time I used too much. I found that loading the supplied brush from the applicator in the tube and then wiping the excess onto the back of my hand and using it as needed (a bit like an artist's palette)made it much easier to get the correct amount to achieve great brows without them looking too 'painted on'I also found a quick video on youtube from Pampered Wolf that showed the correct technique with the Unbelieva Brow quickly and easily. Based on how little you need I would imagine that this would turn out to be very economical even though the initial price is quite high.Love it. I recommend it :)
