This is a very unusual bottle – being quite big and bulbous at the base. The wand has an interesting clip round it which I eventually worked out was holding it straight: if you rotate the clip it allows the wand to bend to a 90 degree angle. I guess this is intended to make application easier – but to be honest I didn’t find it all that helpful, I put the clip back and use the wand straight.The mascara itself applies very easily and evenly giving great length and colour. It is waterproof and stood up well to my usual watery eyes as well as a sweaty workout. In fact it stays so well put that I actually found it quite tricky to remove.

I really like this l'oreal mascara. I wear mascara every day and have done for many years. I stick to the same brands which is usually Maybelline for mascara (although I'm faithful to MAC for my foundation and eye shadow).I have sensitive skin and eyes so always use simple make up remover, so imagine my surprise when the information on this new mascara says it can be removed with warm water! It's actually amazing.I have worn it for the last three days. It feels a little thicker going on than my usual but (like most new mascaras) goes on beautifully without any clumps. The wand has a hinge in the middle - I haven't needed to use this really yet as I can apply it just fine with a straight wand.When taking it off,

Very black and dense creme formulation, it goes on very thick, the brush is a plastic/silicon style one which has short bristles and I don’t feel the formula is combing through the lashes very well so they tend to clump. It seemed to dry even clumpier and it didn’t take long to start flaking off.I will say that I was amazed how very easily it removed, I used a miceller oil infused cleanser and usually it doesn’t take mascara off as easily as this came off, it seemed to just crumble right into the cotton and rub off in tiny little black flakes rather than dissolve into the remover and cotton. My wife tried this out and this is what she said: "I like this mascara, it goes on easily and isn't too thick and clumpy. It's different from other mascaras in that it comes in a bulb-shaped pot which is easy to grasp, especially if you have just put hand-cream on. The other unusual thing about it is that you can adjust the actual brush and bend it (once you have removed and discarded the plastic protector collar). It just bends to a 45 degree angle though, it doesn't seem to rotate as the description suggests. The actual mascara is black and seems just like other mascaras, but it is waterproof which means it comes off in flecks and doesn't melt and smudge. I don't tend to remove my mascara at night,

This is a bottle of mascara, rather than a tube, one that you can stand on the bathroom shelf as you peer into a mirror. Its other unique selling point is a super-bendy conical brush, that helps you to get the mascara on at different angles, and is very useful.It's a nicely narrow brush, easy to manouvre round the eyes, and a welcome change from some of the oversized brushes featured on the market in recent years, that brush your cheeks as well as your eyes.The claim is that this will last for 48 hours, well, frankly I don't fancy leaving anything on my eyes for that length of time.So that claim is untested, but it did go through a day's hard wear, including tear-inducing high winds,

Innovative design that I’m really impressed with whereby you can actually bend the handle into an angled shape which makes it so much easier to apply. The wand isn’t made of some bendy new material but has a sort of hinge built into it. A hard plastic collar sits over this hinge when the mascara is closed and not being used but pulling the collar off ( it pulls off and then snaps back on again) allows the hinge to move so you can angle the handle to suit.The brush is standard and the mascara itself is a good strong black colour that hasn’t clumped yet and lasts all day without flaking. As far a being waterproof, I haven’t attempted to swim with it on or had a cry,

This mascara comes with a bendy angled head that makes it easier to get in close and apply to the lash. you don't need a lot - I only needed about 2-3 light strokes, which gave me some extra length, a little curl, and defined spikes. More than that would've ended clumpy. It dried quickly and lasted all day (until bedtime), long after I had forgotten about it. I think the bottle recommends washing out with warm water, so that's how I got rid of most of it.The bottle is shaped a bit more like a nail varnish bottle, which makes me wonder if once you get close to the end, you'd lose some of the mascara to the bottle, never to be retrieved, but I guess we will find out. This is a long lasting and easy to use mascara that goes on easily and lasts well.I like the bottle, it's great for standing on a side table and won't roll away, and means that the brush handle doesn't get covered in product which is handy. It's definitely intended for a dressing table rather than a handbag as it isn't particularly compact.It goes on easily, doesn't clump and the adjustable brush means that it is simple to get all the lashes without having to move an arm into odd positions.It doesn't come off until you want it to, and hasn't smudged at all so far - when you do want to remove it usinga wipe works, or it comes off easily in the shower when rubbed.All in all a really nice product,

Tear and tantrum proof mascara....This is my new favourite mascara, it really extends my lashes- 2 coats and it is easily comparable to false lashes.The bendable brush is a really good idea, i found it helped get the mascara on all my lashes, even the tiny ones in the edges of my eyelid, if you dont want a bent brush, it can be used straight, exactly like a standard brush and best of all it doesn’t move about when you use it, only when you intentionally bend it.Being waterproof it takes a bit of shifting, a make up wipe didnt cut it and it barely budged, this takes a proper cleanser or face wash.

This really is waterproof yet is easy to remove. Not a combination I’ve ever found before in a mascara! The colour is great, it volumises and lengthens and doesn’t smudge. The brush can be angled, which is something my makeup artist has been doing for years with her mascara wands as it really does improve ease of application. The case is a tad chunky but fits in with the rest of my handbag cosmetics quite easily.

I was impressed with how this mascara bends and as I have trouble with my hands it did make life easier. The wand gave a good amount of mascara which lifted my lashes and made them look fantastic BUT it really isn’t waterproof and flakes fell onto my face with smudges within an hour of applying. I did wonder when it stated how easy it was to remove, which it was, far too easy. Shame, I shall keep searching.

This black mascara is a breeze to apply with the flexible brush and made my quite short, blonde, lashes long very much longer. There was no clumping, flaking or smudging and it stays there all day. The big bonus about this mascara though is that it is easily removed with a cotton pad and warm water, no scrubbing or oily make-up remover required, so it may come off in the shower but not in the swimming pool!

Looks like a nail polish bottle on first glance and I'm not sure why it's the shape it is unless it's just a gimmick to draw you in to look closer... Aside from that it's a nice mascara. Doesn't leave your lashes claggy and haven't had any mishaps with smudging. I prefer the wand to be straight but I suppose there will be plenty who prefer it bent so it's nice to have the option. Seems good value.

I'm constantly looking for a mascara that doesn't smudge and I've finally found it! The brush bends 2 ways,the mascara stays put and I found when I used my makeup remover wipes,it came off! There were little bits left on the wipes; not a black mark,just tiny pieces,but that's a small price to pay for smudge-free eyes.It is a bit expensive, but it's worth it.
