I've used L'Oreal mascara for a few years now and was excited to try this waterproof version. The Volume Million Lashes mascara has always been one of my favourites as I find the formula of the mascara, along with the well shaped, long brush, works to separate and define lashes and ensure that they do not clump or stick together. The fact there is an excess wiper in the neck of the tube also ensures that just the right amount of mascara can be applied and there is no wastage. I have not yet gotten to the end of my new tube to be able to comment, but my previous experience (of the non waterproof version) has been that the tube lasts me about 4 months when used on a daily basis,

The L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara is a waterproof mascara which incorporates a brush designed to separate out your lashes along with a clever little ‘excess wiper’ design to the bottle which removes excess mascara prior to application.The ‘Million Lashes’ brush really does separate the lashes out extremely well, noticeably defining them with the application of the mascara after fanning them out. Furthermore, the actual application is very easy to do and to achieve great results with.My wife finds that many of these style mascaras that promise "extreme volume" etc more often than not end up being extremely thick and heavy – with clumps of mascara joining your lashes together and making your lashes look heavy and far too overloaded.

I don't think I have ever tried a mascara from L'Oreal so I was interested in giving this one a go.This is a brilliant mascara. I have had quite a few off the Vine newsletter recently but this is my definite favourite one.It applies brilliantly and evenly across lashes and it definitely gave me more volume. Now I am lucky to be blessed with good eyelashes but these more so made them seem longer and darker. This combined with a black eyeliner was all the make up I needed and made the blue in my eyes really "pop".It didn't clump on my lashes at all and honestly this is great quality for your money.This is definitely one I would be buying again when mine runs out.I am very pleased with this so I

A good quality mascara for everyday use, and completely reliable as it really is waterproof.I wouldn't say that I see any significant volume increase, nor do I think I look like I've got more/longer lashes (let alone a million!) but coverage and definition is good, and even. It's a very noticeable colour though, most definitely black, which gives the impression of 'millions' of lashes!It lasts well, and has survived a couple of weepy moments, plus a significant stint in the pool. It really stays strong. You do though need to use a really good eye make up remover to get it off.Not my best or most favourite mascara ever, but good quality and reliable, and great value.

I've used L'Oreal Paris mascaras for years. I have used a number of Volume Million ones but have never tried the So Couture ones. I have to say I really, really liked it! I was a little bit unsure as I had tried the 'Excess' and 'Feline' versions and neither were as good as the original. This mascara was beautiful - it separated all my lashes wonderfully and made them almost look false. Each lash was separate and coated amazingly. It does take quite a few coats to build up but it's not a problem as with the wand it doesn't go clumpy at all.The only reason I have given 4 rather than 5 stars is because it's not great at lengthening. But overall, I totally love this!

L'Oreal products are almost always excellent value and quality and this doesn't disappoint. The brush is small and has short bristles which I find makes application much more precise. Overloading the brush is impossible due to L'Oreal's "Wipe Clean" feature--the container narrows at the top to remove excess mascara from the brush. This avoids clumping on your lashes and gives you a natural look which is still flattering. You get a good coating with only one application and although I have sensitive skin/eyes, I have never had any problems with L'Oreal eye makeup. It doesn't smudge or rub off easily but I find it is easily removed with shower-gel.A great product.

Very good water proof mascara that stays on the entire day and as far as I can see (from my eighteen hour wear - which I also napped wearing) it doesn't have any fall out or flaking. Lashes aren't massively long on the first application, but by the second or third application you get that very thick dark and bold look that most people crave - although, do be warned, if you need to opt for a second or third application, you don't get a "million lashes" - the more you apply, the more spidery it does sort of become.Applicator is very nice, silicon style with short bristles make it easier to get close to the lashline without stabbing yourself in the eyeball.

Before using this mascara I was a loyal Rimmel girl. I bought this on a whim when it was on offer and I have stuck with it ever since. It gives both length and volume and makes my lashes really nice and black. It is so easy to apply and really separates my lashes while still making them look voluminous - I've never had another mascara like it. It thickens each individual lash so it looks like you have twice as many. One coat will give you a nice natural look while a few coats really give you eyes the wow factor. It stays on well all day without flaking and is easy enough to remove. It's so good I can't see myself using a different mascara any time soon!

I think I expected really thick lashes after using this mascara and while they were nicely covered I don't think they looked any thicker or more dramatic than my other mascara.To be fair, it didn't clump and my lashes were nicely separated. While it coated my upper lashes nicely, the thick brush made it a bit awkward to do my lower lashes and I needed to wipe away mascara from my skin where I had accidentally smudged it.Usually I find, with waterproof mascaras, that it streaks under my eyes after a shower, but this one actually washed off rather nicely without having to scrub or use a cleanser, which my sensitive skin appreciated.

Like the other million lashes range this one has the rubberised brush rather than a bristle brush. It's a straight slightly thick one rather than shaped or tapered & it's covered in tiny nodules which coat the lashes easily.The first thing I noticed was that it has an exceptional lengthening effect.I found the formula none clumpy, easy to apply with no obvious particles at all.It dries really quickly making it easy to apply a second coat.I wore two coats and after a full day it hadn't flaked or run or smudged, I have to say that at less than a third of the price of my usual mascara I was very impressed with this & would buy again.

All i can say is that I like this mascara, it's not my favourite. I have my usual Loreal but another type, as the one I normally use was unavailable, I thought I'd give a try a new one. It is black, it does help to bring out my eyes by a lovely black and longer eyelashes but I am not very keen on the brush, hence 4 stars. Brush is quite small as to my liking and the bristles are not as soft as my usual mascara ones, I think they are silicone and I'm simply not a big fan of them. Having said that, it is a good mascara (as all other Loreal products) and I am still happy with this purchase, thank you!

I bought this for my wedding. I normally use the Volume Million lashes in extra black and wanted the same look just in waterproof incase I cried.Well I did cry and this mascara stayed put! It has all the amazing benefits of the normal million mascara but without smudging. It glides on amazing and leaves no clumps. It pulls those lashes to their full extension and gives a full fluttery look. It also comes in blackest black and looks really dramatic.Although I bought it for my wedding. I used it all summer long and next summer I will buy again. Would highly recommend.

My daughter had used this before and had been pleased so I thought it worth a try. The brush is very good and allowed reasonable definition, there was only a small amount of clumping but if you take care with not putting too much on the brush the chance of this is greatly reduced. It does need several coats to give a strong look for nights out but I like a subtle look for the day and this is excellent for that purpose. Probably about a 3.5* as it does struggle to add great depth and length to the lash but happy with it for my preferred look.

I love wearing Mascara, but usually find that the image in the photograph which lured me in, is not what happens to my eyelashes - which invariably clump into thick ugly lumps which require teasing out. Not so with this mascara. Whilst it doesn't have the lash lengthening of some, you get beautifully accented lashes which are separated, natural looking, and perfect for daytime wear. This has become my new favourite mascara. It is one of those products I will have to replace as it runs out, because it works perfectly.Highly recommended

An easy mascara to apply in that it didn't feel as if you were overloading the lashes, just sweeping on a little colour. It is not heavy and gloopy and no need for wiping the brush on the side of the container.Having said that it still does look good on your lashes giving them volume without heaviness.After I first put it on I felt as if it was going to start irritating my eyes but the feeling passed after a while. I have to admit to not being a regular mascara wearer so maybe it was just that.Very happy with the product.
