I've used L'Oreal mascara for a few years now and was excited to try this waterproof version. The Volume Million Lashes mascara has always been one of my favourites as I find the formula of the mascara, along with the well shaped, long brush, works to separate and define lashes and ensure that they do not clump or stick together. The fact there is an excess wiper in the neck of the tube also ensures that just the right amount of mascara can be applied and there is no wastage. I have not yet gotten to the end of my new tube to be able to comment, but my previous experience (of the non waterproof version) has been that the tube lasts me about 4 months when used on a daily basis,which I feel makes this product well worth the price tag. If you prefer a spiky lash look/ really dramatic lashes then this may not be the mascara for you, as I find the main positive it that it enhances natural lashes and simply gives them colour, separation and length. If this is what you look for in a mascara then I do recommend you give it a try as it is one of the best I have found for these criteria. It stays in place well throughout the day and has not smudged for me.The waterproof formula of this version of the mascara can't really be faulted. It has lasted on me through both walks in heavy rain and tears, which are probably the two most common needs, although I can't comment on how it lasts during activities such as swimming. I find that it wipes off easily with make up remover, leaving no residue or smudging really and so overall is a great product.

I find this mascara deserves a full review so here it is:PRO's:WaterproofStays on all night no matter whatVery easy to clean offSmells nice - never understood why my lashes need to smell good but they do!Can be worn lightly for a natural lookCan be built up to give amazing false lash affectIt isn't clumpyInexpensiveWhen taken off your lashes feel soft, unlike others I have used which are plastic feeling and take a long time to take off.CON's:It is not sweat proof (what make up truly is?)You must use make up remover/baby wipe/soap to wash off, warm water will not take this off.I was using another more expensive mascara before now, I found it to do the same but be wetter and harder to apply.This brush is very standard, the end of it is smaller which I find good for fine applying mascara. I use this daily for months and my lashes feel the same as ever - I don't believe a mascara can make your lashes more healthy but my lashes are still as healthy as ever. I have used another mascara that was £25 to buy, a well known brand, I found it did the same except for one thing, which is that it didn't give me the long false lash effect this mascara does. It truly lengthens AND thickens lashes and all while separating them nicely thus avoiding spider lashes!I highly recommend this and even if you only try it once and don't fall in love with it, it only cost you £10.

The L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara is a waterproof mascara which incorporates a brush designed to separate out your lashes along with a clever little ‘excess wiper’ design to the bottle which removes excess mascara prior to application.The ‘Million Lashes’ brush really does separate the lashes out extremely well, noticeably defining them with the application of the mascara after fanning them out. Furthermore, the actual application is very easy to do and to achieve great results with.My wife finds that many of these style mascaras that promise "extreme volume" etc more often than not end up being extremely thick and heavy – with clumps of mascara joining your lashes together and making your lashes look heavy and far too overloaded.However this mascara actually feels light on the lashes whilst still achieving a reasonable level of thickness and definition to them.The ‘excess wiper’ which stops too much mascara being applied to the brush prior to use also works incredibly well. Pulling the brush out from its container, there’s a very noticeably gripping sensation, as the bristles are pulled out of the bottle against the circular lips of the ‘excess wiper’.The end results, after having applied the mascara are really very good. Expect bold and well-defined lashes with pretty much no clumping or excessive amounts of the mascara having been applied.

First off I'd like to say I've been using this mascara for about two years pretty much every day so I have a very good feel of it, how long it lasts etc. I am 20 and use the colour in Black and it does cover my naturally brownish black eyelashes to a deeper shade of black. You can also use it on your eyebrows but ideally use one with a smaller, softer brush for that rather than this as this is thicker and can smudge easily.Pros:It works, it actually does give you longer, thicker lashes.It lasts a long time, I've gone through possibly four of these in the past two or so years.It DOES NOT crumble, fall off or wear off throughout the day.If you like to then you can make your eyelashes clumpy and thick.Nice,fat brush.It doesn't hurt too much if you accidentally flick it in your eye.Cons:THE ANIMAL TESTING ON THIS IS HORRENDOUS, CUTTING OPEN THE SKULLS, BUTCHERING AND RUBBING IT ON ANIMAL BRAINS AND INTESTINES!! No joke, they had videos up for Loreal they are NOT an anti-animal testing company so if this bothers you BACK AWAY NOW.It's kind of pricey.You can easily make your eyelashes look very clumpy and thick.The brush is hard and kind of sharp.All in all this is a very good product but personally I don't buy it unless someone else buys it for me, the cruelty to the cute little animals badly puts me off this product.

I normally try to avoid waterproof mascaras because of the difficulty in removing them, this one comes off easily with an oil based remover. In fact L`Oreal do a very good one that is perfect for all types of eye make-up.The tube is shaped in such a way it will stand on one end whether in use or not plus it will not roll away or land on your carpets while using the wand. I really like the way this has been shaped inside the tube preventing too much mascara coming out in a huge blob, just the right amount is on the brush each time.One coat gives very good coverage, it is not hugely volumising like some I have tried recently but does look natural and the brush really helps give definition to every single lash.For an all day long look that doesn`t flake or smudge this is ideal, especially on occasions when you can`t keep checking (weddings spring to mind).My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the second coat made no real difference to lash length and made them feel rather spikey.For the price I would recommend this and particularly if waterproof mascara is important to you.

I'm not someone who can buy lots of expensive mascaras much as I'd like to, but I've tried a fair share of high street ones, and the odd pricier one.This, for me, is a fabulous mascara. Probably in the top 2 of the various ones I've tried across brands available in superdrugs and boots (Maybelline, Max Factor, Bourjois etc)It fans out all my lashes so well, and gives great length which no clumping.To me, it's far better than Benefit's BadGal or They're Real and has been better than a Clinique one I have used too.I'm particularly impressed by it because I accidentally bought this in Brown and I normally buy mascaras in black but it still made my lashes look really dramatic, and deep coloured.Usually me and brown mascara just don't get on. Definitely want to try Excess and others if the normal brown one gave me the look I like.Worth a shot at £5.99.

Love love love this! I cannot believe how much volume this mascara gives, I purchased this when it first came out a couple of years ago and ever since have been using this. It claims to give a full volume effect without clumps and this is exactly what you get, I always get compliments when wearing this mascara and many ask if there my own lashes or fake :) This lasts quite sometime therefore it is well worth the money and the packaging is nice and elegant. This is easy to use, it glides on the eyelashes easily and even better separates the lashes to avoid clumps. For those of you who have never purchased this item I advise you to do so now! This is my favourite mascara,gives such a beautiful effect and makes me feel and look great. If your looking for fuller volumized lashes without using fake lashes then this is the product that will do the job.

I have for many many years used lash architect and could never mind another product to replace this. Feeling a bit of a wild moment I decided to be a bit of a devil and try something different.Ordered it and like many others could not wait to try something new, when I got it I found it really really good for the first few uses, however the more I was using it the more that I find that I have to clean the brush as at the tip of the brush it seems to be a bit clarated in it can leave you with some "spider leg" looking lashes which is my worst nightmare - it really annoys me seeing anyone else with lashes like that never mind my own.I do like the product but I find that I do have to fiddle withit more than I possibly should to get the desired effect!

I don't think I have ever tried a mascara from L'Oreal so I was interested in giving this one a go.This is a brilliant mascara. I have had quite a few off the Vine newsletter recently but this is my definite favourite one.It applies brilliantly and evenly across lashes and it definitely gave me more volume. Now I am lucky to be blessed with good eyelashes but these more so made them seem longer and darker. This combined with a black eyeliner was all the make up I needed and made the blue in my eyes really "pop".It didn't clump on my lashes at all and honestly this is great quality for your money.This is definitely one I would be buying again when mine runs out.I am very pleased with this so I100% recommend it to others :-)

A good quality mascara for everyday use, and completely reliable as it really is waterproof.I wouldn't say that I see any significant volume increase, nor do I think I look like I've got more/longer lashes (let alone a million!) but coverage and definition is good, and even. It's a very noticeable colour though, most definitely black, which gives the impression of 'millions' of lashes!It lasts well, and has survived a couple of weepy moments, plus a significant stint in the pool. It really stays strong. You do though need to use a really good eye make up remover to get it off.Not my best or most favourite mascara ever, but good quality and reliable, and great value.

I've used L'Oreal Paris mascaras for years. I have used a number of Volume Million ones but have never tried the So Couture ones. I have to say I really, really liked it! I was a little bit unsure as I had tried the 'Excess' and 'Feline' versions and neither were as good as the original. This mascara was beautiful - it separated all my lashes wonderfully and made them almost look false. Each lash was separate and coated amazingly. It does take quite a few coats to build up but it's not a problem as with the wand it doesn't go clumpy at all.The only reason I have given 4 rather than 5 stars is because it's not great at lengthening. But overall, I totally love this!

L'Oreal products are almost always excellent value and quality and this doesn't disappoint. The brush is small and has short bristles which I find makes application much more precise. Overloading the brush is impossible due to L'Oreal's "Wipe Clean" feature--the container narrows at the top to remove excess mascara from the brush. This avoids clumping on your lashes and gives you a natural look which is still flattering. You get a good coating with only one application and although I have sensitive skin/eyes, I have never had any problems with L'Oreal eye makeup. It doesn't smudge or rub off easily but I find it is easily removed with shower-gel.A great product.

Quite a big mascara 10.2ml in a shiny gold cover (reminded me of C3PO). Claims to have an anti clump wiper in the next of the container to remove excess as you take the brush out. You need this as the product is quite lumpy. The brush is big and has wide rubberised bristles which were very good at re distributing the lumps.The water proof seems ok, survived out door rain and an indoor shower and hair wash with out running. However was not given a weepy movie – the ultimate test!The ingredients are on a peel back label on the lid- in the tinest grey writing. Includes lots of waxes and methyl parabens amongst many other commonly used cosmetic ingredients.

Very good water proof mascara that stays on the entire day and as far as I can see (from my eighteen hour wear - which I also napped wearing) it doesn't have any fall out or flaking. Lashes aren't massively long on the first application, but by the second or third application you get that very thick dark and bold look that most people crave - although, do be warned, if you need to opt for a second or third application, you don't get a "million lashes" - the more you apply, the more spidery it does sort of become.Applicator is very nice, silicon style with short bristles make it easier to get close to the lashline without stabbing yourself in the eyeball.

I think I expected really thick lashes after using this mascara and while they were nicely covered I don't think they looked any thicker or more dramatic than my other mascara.To be fair, it didn't clump and my lashes were nicely separated. While it coated my upper lashes nicely, the thick brush made it a bit awkward to do my lower lashes and I needed to wipe away mascara from my skin where I had accidentally smudged it.Usually I find, with waterproof mascaras, that it streaks under my eyes after a shower, but this one actually washed off rather nicely without having to scrub or use a cleanser, which my sensitive skin appreciated.
