L'Oreal Paris Infallible Nail Polish is not infallible. I managed to chip it by the next day, without even trying. I don't really think this is a lot different from what would have happened from any other well-known nail polish. Some people seem to be able to keep their nails looking perfect for a long time, but I am certainly not one of those women. The product looks different from others that I have tried, at first glance. It has two nails varnishes, with each fitted into a black plastic connector. Essentially, if you pull the two bottles apart, then you are left with a base colour and a top coat. The colour (red) gives a lovely, bright look to your nails, and the top coat adds some shine and protection. The speed at which the varnish touch dries is reasonably quick, although I never find these things dry fully until they've had several hours. Up until that point, they may be touch dry, but they are still wet enough to get an indent from something. What I mean by this, is that I often do my nails before bed. I might then stay up another hour or so, but inevitably they still get an indent off of the cotton from my pillow.Overall, I like L'Oreal's Infallible Nail Polish a lot. The colour is rich, and the way they can be clipped together is really convenient for travelling purposes. I don't feel that I can give it a full five stars, however, because it chipped just as swiftly as any other one has done so. With the word, 'Infallible' in the product name, I was hoping that it would have a little more staying power.

This product consists of 2 separate bottles that are joined together in a black tube - I have no idea why apart from the fact that it looks attractive and that's very important on the crowded shelves these days. Once purchased, it doesn't really make sense to store them like this since if one is the right way up, the other is upside down and that makes me nervous of spills - you wouldn't normally store nail polish upside down after all!The colour is a lovely red with shades of coral and pink - I love it. In my opinion the best way to apply is use your own base coat & then apply 2 layers of the nail polish. One layer is really too thin. The brush is wide which I really value as each coat goes on evenly in 2 or 3 strokes.I particularly value this when applying to my right hand nails as I'm not the neatest using my left hand - the wide brush really helps.Once the 2 coats are dry, apply the top coat to achieve a lovely bright, shiny finish.Be careful to make sure you allow enough time to dry or the polish will clump up and peel off. Allowing enough time does give a lovely effect that doesn't look a million miles away from gel. The polish is long-wearing and copes excellently with everyday jobs and activities like washing up etc. I use hand cream several times a day and this didn't affect the polish. All in all, I give this 3.5-4 stars - the bottles are quite small and the plastic connector makes it look like a better value product.

L'Oréal Paris Infallible Nail Polish - Fuchsia for Life (No. 020) - 2 x 5 ml - RRP £7.99This is essentially two miniature pots of nail varnish joined together at the caps by black plastic tube. I like the two pots of nail colour - one a bright tomato red that's slightly pinky, the other a clear tinted top coat - but don't get the point of joining them together in a tube; I suppose that's just to show these two pots work together as a set, rather than them disappearing into your general nail polish kit. The two minature pots of nail polish are really nice. They are easy to apply using the integral fat brush - the brush is great. The colour gives a dullish finish but the topcoat combines to produce a bright, shiny, hard-wearing covering. I used 2 coats of the red to give a solid colour with no streaks. The topcoat is already pinky (you can see this in the online picture) and, as you use it, it does pick up colour so it'll get more coloured with use; that's fine so long as the topcoat is kept for use with reds. Please note that, when applying a deeply-coloured nail polish such as this one, I would always apply a base coat first to ensure the colour doesn't stain the nails.L'Oréal claims the nail polish is "inspired by salon gel manicures" (whatever that means) and that the polish will last for 12 days. I will update this review if the nail polish starts to look manky more quickly.

I wasn't terribly convinced by this nail varnish at first - the colour is very bright, almost neon, and I didn't see why it came with a top coat, when almost every women who has ever painted her nails will already own one, but once I tried it, I fell in love. The colour is very translucent, it took three coats until you couldn't see the white part of my nail, and even then it is still slightly visible. It dried quickly though, so having to do 3 coats wasn't too bad. I almost didn't put the top coat on in favour of my favourite Sally Hansen one, but I thought I might as well, and boy did it make the difference! It makes the varnish so shiny and bright, and I have fairly physical job and haven't had any chipping at all, which is a first for me, and a small miracle! I have had so many compliments on my nails, and even though I thought it was a little bright for me (having very pale skin), it actually works really well, and is a lovely bright coral. It's destined to be my go-to varnish this summer! Having both in a little tube is very handy and it can just be popped in your bag, but I think it's more of a novelty than anything, and I would have been nice if the top coat was also a base coat, but I suppose you could still use it as a base and have less to carry around! A great gift for the girl who has everything, I've had many people ask if I've had a manicure it's that nice!

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Nail Polish is a nice bright pink nail polish which is provided inside two small bottles, the first colour is the bright pink varnish which goes on well with the long tapered brush. The colour is a fuschia pink which is very eye catching and along with the top coat it leaves it very shiny and I would call it a solid pink colour. This is a 2 step nail polish which according to L'Oreal lasts 12 days, mine did not last that length of time but my hands are in water quite a bit due to work etc. The high shine is evident and it does resemble a gel-like finish because of the film forming polymer, gellifying agents and crystal copolymer which provided a longer lasting durability according to L'Oreal press release.I cannot say I fully understand this as I am no scientist but I will say the colour is strong, the finish does have a gel like look which I do like though for me the twelve days was less than half that length of time though this could be my fault for not wearing protection gloves when working.I would recommend this nail varnish for a night out as the colour and finish certainly stands out and for that reason alone I would be happy to recommend it.

A cheerful duo of nail colours; a pretty Barbi-Fuchsia pink base layer topped off by a similarly toned top coat that adds luminescence and gloss to the finish.Presentation is different to anything I’ve used before; two bottles of colour (individually lidded) held together by a simple connector into which the two lids slot. The bottles are held in place by a thin piece of tape that indicates which colour should be applied first but otherwise the connecting tube does seem to be a slightly superfluous thing that serves no real long-term purpose. One coat of the base produces a semi-opaque colour that is deepened on application of a second layer. The top coat adds a gloss and sheen to the nail so that any remaining ridges are evened out leaving a perfect finish.Staying power seems good with the colour lasting without any significant chips for around five days, even doing normal office and household chores. So this is a lovely duo of nail colours that seem to have good staying power and excellent chip resistance. And, as they are quick drying, you can touch up as necessary without having to spend an age waiting for your nails to dry.

This is a combo of 2 small nail varnishes a coloured base coat and a red tinted top coat. The presentation with both bottle tops in a central tube is a little odd, you’d not want to store them like this in case they leak. This is a really nice deep red, (with hints of pink/purple rather than scarlet). The applicator brush is quite wide, I could easily apply two long nails with one brushful. But you need to control the amount as a full brushful on one nail gives a really deep finish, a thin layer looks a lot lighter. After the base is really dry apply the top coat. I found 2 thin coats of base and one of top coat worked best, but this did take time, not a ‘pop on a bit of varnish 10 minutes before running out of the door’ type of product. In wear its pretty similar to other polishes chips after a day or so.There’s a peel back label with ingredients but no instructions for use. A lot of the ingredients are listed as may contain and include: tin oxide, aluminium hydroxide, bismuth oxychloride, titanium dioxide, chromium oxide, blue lake, ferrocyanide, carmine…..

I love the colour of this L'Oreal Infallible Nail Polish - it's a really dramatic and beautifully shiny blood red. My favourite colour, and one that works well with my colouring. The accompanying gel topcoat doesn't significantly resemble its Amazon product details picture - it's quite a strongly tinted pink, rather than a solid red as the photo makes it appear. The product itself applies easily from a nice and quite wide brush, dries fairly quickly and lasts reasonably well - even despite the fact that I have a couple of quite hands-on hobbies in gardening and restoring vintage sewing machines! The small bottle size is nice, but I'm not terribly keen on the double-ended pen assembly.I'm not particularly a fan of a set-up that's not designed to keep the bottles the right way up. Why go out of your way to increase the risk of leakages? The bottles do unclip from the pen-style packing design and have separate plain black caps, but in doing this you lose the l'Oreal branding and the labelling reminding you that these are two steps that belong together.

L'Oréal======They are the largest cosmetics company in the world. They have loads of brands from Garnier, L'Oréal and have huge research facilities in respect of cosmetics. Just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're the best. Equally, just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're evil. I've tested loads of L'Oréal stuff ranging from WOW this should be on the NHS to Oh my golly gosh-this is dreadful.OK? Let's go..WHAT IS IT=========It's a nail polish. This is a nice nail varnish. The bright pink colour is really good, very vivid and bright. The tinted top coat also leaves a really nice glossy finish and does protect the colour a bit more than not having it on. I like the idea of having both colours together as it makes it easy to use and not forget to add the top coat (which I sometimes do!). The brushes that came with the varnishes are nice quality too and I found they applied the varnish nice and evenly. There are a couple of negatives to this product - you only get 5ml of each product which isn't a lot really especially for the price. You also need to apply a base coat to your nails as the colour is so bright I am sure it would stain your nail.Although the product did last for a bit longer than some nail varnishes I have used it, it certainly wasn't anywhere near the 12 days the product promises. All in all I like this product and would consider using again.

I am only giving this 5 stars because i cant give it a higher number!!! This nail varnish is brilliant. Im using colour 11, red. this is a lovely bright red and i can get away with one coat.Proswide, one stroke brushdries quicklystrong colour, just about get away with one coat even on redkit includes shiny top coatreally really quickconsnone what so ever!I managed to paint one hand and top coat it to dry in less than 5 minutes. It dries very quickly, the brush is wide so one stroke is all that is needed to fully cover each nail. I can just about get away with one coat, even with red. i am totally in love, no more sitting still not moving for fear of smudging nail varnish for me (i get bored,do something, gouge chunk out of varnish!) Its in a tube design but each end is actually a separate bottle that pulls out, easy to use, dries quickly and is a fab colour, what more do you need?! im a total convert.

My wife is impressed with L'Oréal Paris Infallible Nail Polish Number 011, especially the deep vibrancy of the red. She was not, however, quite so impressed with the packaging. This is a two stage nail polish. Apply the lacquer using the excellent brush provided and be sure to allow it to dry thoroughly. Then apply the gel, which dries to a brilliant hard, non-chip surface that looks good and really lasts. The bottles holding the two parts of the product slot into a plastic cylinder which is too tall to leave standing and, as the bottle tops are concealed within the cylinder, they could leak unnoticed if left laying down.My wife says she would have given the product a five star rating, but reduced it to four because of the packaging.

I like this nail set but it seems a bit gimmicky with the tube design, i have had one before from Leighton Denny in this sort of style and i didn't like the fact it couldn't be stored upright and it did have trouble with it, this one is way better as the two end separate and each have a lid,Having said that the bottles are not very glamorous and wont look too special on your dressing table, plus they are both mini so you haven't really got two for one in price! It works fine, it seems weaker till it is finished with its top coat and I don't think i would purchase this (sent for review) but it is nice enough but I prefer a good ole stronger colour bottle of polish. It does work though and is whatit says!

The design of this L'Oreal nail polish really appeals to me. It means that I can keep the base and top coats together instead of them getting lost in a make up bag.The actual individual varnish and top coats are quite small though. The marketing says it will last or days, but I have never found any nail varnish lasting this long.I love the colour, strong and bright and I find one coat sufficient to cover my nails, so with that in mind, this will prove to be good value for money too.Additional comments: I was doubtful if this would be a long lasting varnish, but now I have no doubts whatsoever. I applied this varnish, together with the top coat and it has lasted a massive 7 days - wow am very impressed
