LOVE IT ? Bought on a whim as i was at the end of my tether trying to tone out the yellow in my hair. Always wanted to have a grey hue to my hair but could never achieve it with products from the shop. So resigned my self to being a white blonde - hard work. Specially when the yellow always seeps back, despite all the bleaching it just wont go. Used Wella T18 in the past but after some internet research i came across these.I bought the Frosty Milkshake 9.01 and Frosty Glazed Milkshake 10.12 with 9vol DIActivater. Ratio is 1 part toner and 1 and a half Activater. I strand tested each colour and did a strand test with both mixed together. Mixed together was the nicest. Leave for up to 20 mins, you can see the colour change happening, so leave until you achieve desired result. Mine only took 10 mins but I've got dry, porous hair.I've now achieved the grey colour I've always wanted and my hair feels lovely. Got loads of Activater left, so i'll just need to buy more toner when required. But i love it. Highly recommended. Before and after pics posted.

I would recommend this toner 100%. It works very well on prelightened hair. Although it is important to monitor application time with any colourant, I would say this is especially crucial with this shade due to the possibility of leaving a slight pink sheen to the hair if existing hair has been pre lightened to a very pale yellow and the toner is left on for the full recommended duration. Result on prelightened hair is a platinum/white blonde with a pearlescent reflect so this is perfect for someone who wants ice blonde hair that still looks shiny and almost “natural”. In my experience it’s quite a forgiving toner eg it shifts a lot of yellow even if hair is not quite as light as desired andalso colour is dispersed evenly on bleached regrowth and ends (unlike some toners which can produce a two toned effect as they process too much on the ends!). Have struggled to find a single toner that produces this shade so it’s easily 5 stars for the result provided!

I am a hairdresser and I love using Dialights as toners (it is only supposed to be a toner, used by professionals). The people who aren’t getting the colour they want are non professionals using it as a home colour, not actually knowing what the different developers do and why you’d use one rather than another. All hairdressers know that Dialight is an acidic semi permanent, therefore can only add tone and not lift natural hair. That’s what makes it a great toner, cos you don’t want it to lift the natural hair when you do highlights ? I don’t recommend using Dialight for home colouring, but highly recommend to professionals as it’s one of my all time favourite colouring products.

After two sessions of bleaching my hair was still horribly yellow and after using another toner I thought I'd have to just dye my hair back to a darker colour. Then this toner was recommended to me and it worked wonders on my hair. Took all the yellow out of my horrible at home bleach job and made it look a lot more professional. I would highly reccomend this toner to anyone looking for an interesting but wearable hair colour. It left my hair a very cool toned ash blonde with some purple reflects.

This is the brand my hairdresser uses. I’ve dyed my hair many times before so decided to redo my colour during lockdown. I received 7.4, my hairdresser used 7.43.I’m naturally blonde and it gives a great natural looking copper colour. It fades well and not patchy. Ideally, I do mine every 4 weeks. I use the corresponding developer. In the photo my ‘before’ colour still has some of the faded dye on it. I don’t think this would do much to hair darker than a dark blonde/very light brown.

Please see photos but ignore my face I wasn't planning on uploading them and they're the only ones I have. My hair was quite yellow toned after bleaching. Used Dialight (first time) and took all of that away. The blonde is definitely darker but is a really lovely more natural looking shade. I should note that I used this 3 weeks after bleaching my hair just to give myself some healing time lol.Starts off white then turns to a light brown/dark blonde as it processes.

1st off these products shouldn't be sold to non-professionals2nd this is an AMAZING toner for getting ash/grey tonesThis product is a toner/semi. It WILL NOT lift your hair/make your hair any lighter. Colour does not lift colour, only bleach lifts. If you have orange/yellow tones that you want to neutralise and tone to a more ashy colour then the 9.11 is brilliant but be warned: ash tones always look darker to blondes.

I came in just to write this review!Honestly I’d never use another toner this was amazing! My bleached hair was so orange I truly held out no hopes but this lifted it completely to a beautiful natural ashy toned blonde! I really couldn’t be happier!I have seen some mixed reviews so I’m going to say that if this is used properly with the right amount of developer to toner as per instructions you will not be disappointed!

Love this, use it with 10vol and gives me an instant soft ash blonde getting rid of all the orange. Normal hair pre bleach was darkest brown and I have olive skin, this works well, despite pictures my hair is not grey- probably if you bleach light enough or leave it on longer it would be. But it gave me a beautiful soft ash blonde as desired. It's a toner not a dye, does what it should when used correctly!

I personally think this is a great toner. I’m seeing a lot of reviews on here of people saying it doesn’t last, but toner in general, even when done in a salon, doesn’t last. Use purple shampoo in between and it keeps it going a little longer. I think the colour is beautiful, not too purple based. I use 6% develop with this, I use this repetitively.

I love the Loreal milkshake range they are incredible toners, but that is it’s only purpose. Some of the negative reviews are unwarranted, learn your products people! Before lambasting a product for not doing what you want as opposed to it’s intended use go and do some research, these are not designed to ‘lift’ your hair, they merely deposit tone.

I used this with the Wella Wellexton perfect 6% 20 vol. I’d bleached my roots first with blondor bleach then applied this toner. I must say I am very impressed with how well the colour turned out after reading the bad reviews. I am not a hairdresser and was very sceptical about it but will be trying a few more colours in this range in the future.

I have medium length hair. Mixing half of this tube with 3% Creme Peroxide (in a small bowel just enough to cover the toner.) Mix and work into dry hair, keep massaging it until you see the results you want. Can bring my hair from an orange right after bleaching to a silver/white. Or just for a top up between bleaching every 4 months.

It's bit more intense than copper blonde, for a copper blonde result i reccomend to wash it off after 15min or so. I was on my phone and completely forgot about it and 30min later I wash it of and I end up quite carrot ?, but 2 washes after I got a super beautiful copper blonde colour ??? I'll def buy again ?

Cant say this toner doesn't work! It's brilliant at covering and nourishing prelightened hair.Covers all my at home bleach mistakes!Cant say I care for 9.03 colour on me but it sure as hell is better then yellow roots and purple ends from the last toner I tried!
