The Wii Wheel comes in 2 pieces, the hand controller has to be inserted into the wheel first and then clipped into the stand. The clip appears a little bit flimsy, and I wonder how many cycles of clipping / unclipping it will take before it breaks. If treated gently, it should last, hence the 4 star rating. Once in use, it is very effective in the Wii game. I use it for Supermario Kart and also have just an 'air wheel'. The Wheel and Stand gives a superior feel and experience. It requires a smooth, flat surface to allow the 4 suction cups to fix it down. It is stable and works very well.

Useful tool to be used when playing those Wii driving games. Kids find it much easier to play driving games with a wheel. I must admit we do not use the stand part of it much but has been handy for our child with special needs to play some of the games. He has difficulty holding a wheel up in front of him for any length of time so we place it on the stand on a table in front of him.
