I was just checking what the online prices were before checking out my local L'Occitane store. This make shock some readers - but I am still using the remains of a 150ml tin of this product, which my husband bought me for Christmas 2009! It has lasted that long! I tend to only need this intense level of moisturising skincare during the winter months when my hands suffer terribly with cracks, soreness and eczema. Pure Shea Butter is the only thing that works for me. Regular handcreams, even the so-called 'rich' ones are pretty useless, although fine for spring/summer use.Pure Shea Butter is also excellent as a facial moisturiser in severely cold conditions. It even works under make-up!

I used this shea butter during my pregnancy, combined with mio care. I got no stretch marks (but then again this might be genetic because my mother and grandmother didn't either). Either way, the shea butter and a pleasure to use, purified (but in a safe way) and creamy.

This pure Shea butter is such a brilliant product.I use it as lip balm and for dry areas as spot treatment. But the best thing about this is you can add a little to any face cream, body lotion and it boosts the moisturising effect.Wouldn’t be without this little gem.

I found the Shea butter rather difficult to apply, the result was excellent but would have preffered if I could have smoothed it on better

I use it on my baby everyday, the UK winter leaves his face red and dry. When I use this everyday, it does hydrate perfectly.

I have been using the product for more than a year, and I can tell you that these butters are the best for cold weathers.

expensive but worth it -put this on cuticles and elbows last thing at night
