Shame really, this is the first Knipex item I have ever bought that is not up to their normal standard. For a start due to its size and weight it feels like a toy. The release lever is badly shaped and doesn't touch the locking arm properly causing it to twist to one side if you put any reasonable pressure on it. The other thing is that the jaws don't line up properly looking end on but worse than that is that when they are closed the back of the jaws shut before the front. The jaws aren't parallel and it's impossible to grip a fine item with the jaw tips. The gap is only perhaps 1/32nd of an inch but is annoying nonetheless. Had high hopes of these but was let down. Pity.

Agree with previous review. These aren't usual Knipex quality; suspiciously cheap and cheap feeling in hand; jaws don't align on closing and what's worse, the gripping geometry is badly designed. The welding point on the upper handle looks to have been done by a man wearing boxing gloves. Very disappointing; went with Irwin Vise Grip instead.
