I bought this to connect my EOS M100 to a Celestron Ultima 80 spotting scope which has a built in t-mount thread on the objective. This t-ring is well constructed and gives a rock steady mounting of the camera to the objective of the spotting scope - none of that nonsense trying to set up a smartphone mount. Sensor coverage is just right too, at 20x zoom you can see the image circle occupy about 70% of the sensor, zoom in a little and you have a full screen image.

Can attach directly to outer thread on telescope as shown in 1st picture. To ensure camera alignment when mounted on a tripod loosen the outer ring on the adapter, which is held by three screws, and rotate camera. The adapter screw locations are shown in 2nd picture (requires 2.0mm slot screwdriver). For Canon M200 camera users select Manual Mode and enable shutter release without lens which is a custom function (C.Fn-5).

Works OK, feels solidly made, and infinity focussing is correct.there are 3 little s;ot-head screws which you can loosen to rotate the lens so that the focussing and aperture marks are top dead centre as you look down on the lens.
