Overall I 'm pleased with my new Kipling rucksack. It is my second firefly up rucksack. My first is water camo and I love it. The Firefly up rucksack is very versatile. The feature I particularly like is the attachable shoulder strap along with partially removable back pack straps. I am slightly disappointed with the colour of this new one, Burnt Carmine. This is because I have a Burnt Carmine purse and had wrongly assumed they would be the same colour and they're not!. The rucksack is darker, more maroon while the purse is more a very dark orange or sienna colour (I am a retired art teacher and colour was always my 'thing'). No doubt I will get used to it.

This backpack is smaller than I had expected, Dont expect to put much in it I have an a5 diary and the diary just about fits horizontally. The front pocket is enough for a packet of handy tissuses and that is all, I always love kipling bags for their practibility and this style apparently you can wear it three different ways although I havent tried this yet, There is also piece of mind with a zip at the back for your purse and an inside zipped pocket and key fob as well. The colour is more like a wine colour instead of a pink.

Lovely little bag, I love the varying straps (can wear as backpack or across body). I also love the various pockets, they are very useful. However beware if you're after a large backpack, because this isn't it! It can hold a reasonable amount, but probably only really enough as a daypack, with a bottle of water, purse, keys, maybe a book or tablet but that's pretty much it. Great for travelling, as it has lots of useful pockets as you'd expect from Kipling. Lovely design.

If you're looking from me, something less than a "wow wow wow" Kipling review, sorry, wrong person. I am a devoted Kipling fan. This was my first purchase through Amazon. It was slightly smaller than what I wanted (so I also got a City Backpack of the same color), since I carry a bit of "extras" in my day-to-day bag, but the Firefly is ideal for me going out for coffee with friends and carrying the basics with me. Love both my Amazon Kiplings ???

Bought this backpack for a weekend away in a city for sightseeing. The back pack is smaller than my old one but so much better as it makes me very selective about what I choose to carry and is so much lighter than my old o e. There are two straps and if you fir the cross body strap the other packs neatly into the back pocket. There is the usual key hook which is invaluable and zipped pockets for mobile and other important goods.

I have lots of Kipling bags but this is my on trend favourite. True to all Kipling bags it is top quality with lots of helpful pockets and unbreakable zips! Love that this bag can be a backpack or crossbody. I think it’s a great size for a handbag enough room for all the essential items plus water and umbrella. Thumbs up Kipling. I actually returned this bag for the colour and reordered in spark night dazz.

A very well-made small backpack. Lots of storage space. Would hold plenty for a day of cycling or hiking. The colour is different to what I expected from the picture. It is actually a maroon rather than a dark burnt orange, but it is still a very nice colour. I always love the quality of a Kipling bag. It came complete with Kipling monkey. It will make a very nice gift for a friend who is retiring.

This is an excellent little convertible backpack/handbag combo. I love the print (bamboo print) and bought one for my mum and for myself. I've had some of this style in the past and have like them, unfortunately they made a small tweak to the design of the bag which removed the large dip in pocket on the outside front. That was a small disappointment, but not enough to knock it a star.

Yes it's ok. Got to get used to it . I would prefer to be able to remove the back straps rather than have to push them into the pocket at the back and I would have liked the pockets at the front to be bigger and I personally could do with another zipped pocket but it's ok but I will continue to look for the perfect bag.

This Kipling backpack is excellent, I have approx 4 firefly N backpacks which I like very much but the Firefly Up has all the upgrades I have been requesting from Kipling, especially the back zip pocket thank youAll we need now is the same style is a slightly smaller size for more casual use

Perfect size for work. Looks greatLoads of pocket space for all my bits and bobs. I love the little key clip inside the bag as I’m always losing my keys at the bottom of bags. The straps stay where you set them and don’t slip. Feels very comfortable on your shoulders.

I really like Kipling backpacks - this is my fourth. They are very well made and with lots of useful pockets. I am pleased that the outer flap now closes with a magnetic press stud - the previous one had a velcro closure which after time does not grip as well.

Brilliant little bag you can fit so much into it, I’ve had a lot of people commit on it. I have five Kipling bags of various sizes that I’ve collected over the past twenty years, it’s great to see that they still retain the level of quality.

Gorgeous backpack perfect size for what i need and its a two in one... You can pop the backpack straps into the pouch at the back and use the handbag strap ... Love it ... Ive got so many kippling bags now think i may be addicted

Wouldn’t say it was children’s however it is small but ideal for going out for a day, you can be hands free by using it as a backpack and brilliant to have the extra strap option to turn it into a cross body bag. Gorgeous colour.
