First impressions.the box is HUGE and very heavy - so that was a shockHowever - it is extremely easy to put together - the folding mechanism is easy, smooth and quick. The wheels can stay on (if you have a large boot)Or you can very easily pop them off which allows you to lay the buggy in the back seat - it even lies side on behind either front seat with the loose wheels set on topIt comes with a mud guard which adds to the width if installed - but unless you are thinking of doing cross country running I cant see why you would need it (probably I'll regret that!)With regards size. It's long inside (back to front) but not very wide.My Shitzu sat very comfortably in it along with my puppy Cavachon but they were squashed together (and they both immediately seemed relaxed in it!) - so it would be fine for two Shitzus as long as they sit one behind the other (although dogs dont mind squeezing together.) I actually think it would be big enough for a small Border Collie, Spaniel, Beagle size dog. It's strong enough for a Labrador size dog but not really wide enough (I think)My only grip is that the little black V shaped guard at the front is very flimsy so it needs to be attached to the hood to stay up and the hood needs to be attached with zips which is a bit of a chore - although one good thing is you can keep the front part of the hood up tight so they can look out and you can fold the back part forward so you can see the dogs and they can turn and see you easilyThe handle can be set in various positions to suit different heightsThe tyres are excellent - very spongy so its a smooth ride - probably ok on grass too. I'm glad I didn't get one with hard plastic wheels like a shopping trolley - apart from the dogs discomfort I don't think I would enjoy pushing a noisy buggyOverall - so far - I'm glad I bought it - will report more as I use it.Just keep in mind this is NOT small - it looks like a proper big kids pram---------------------------ADDED INFOAfter using it for a while I realised I would have preferred a buggy with a swivel front wheel - you keep having to make minor adjustments to turn the buggy - its not THAT hard but just a bit distracting - also there is nothing really under the front of the compartment where the dog sits - so you will need to tie a strap under between the bars (hard to explain)

I bought this for my shih tzu now shes getting tired quicker on our walks. Had to replace this item as the first came with a puncture in the inner tube, Amazon was great and quickly sent the replacement which unfortunately had the same problem. As the pram overall was strong and sturdy i replaced the inner tube myself. It pushes great. You just have to push down a little and turn the pram yourself. Both my little dogs were happy. I recommend this pram even if you have to replace the inner tube!Ok, 12 months plus, the pram is still going! Wheels been fine. I carry in the bottom a wheel pump just in case. Because there aren't any loops inside to attach the dogs lead to I just use the frame and loop it round,it's not a problem. My girls are lovely and warm and dry it, the rain cover is a God send.I've used this buggy for over 2 yrs now. It's gone through all weather's. My girls girls are used to it. Belle more so as she now 13 and 7 months, she needs her rest more often so where we go the buggy goes too. Yeah I get odd looks but I don't care. I'm not leaving her at home, I want her to have quality of life. The buggy since I purchased it has doubled in price I've noticed. Shame as its a lifeline for alot of us...I still take my bicycle pump with me just in case but have never needed it. Over the winter months my tires did lose some air but that was was easy easily fixed with the pump. Now with summer on its way, it will be used more. Its 2018, 4yrs on from this review, my belle is now 15 and doing well and the pram is still in good use and i havent had any issues with it. Its 2020 belle is 16 and 9 months , she is an old girl now and doesnt go out not even in the buggy. Shes coming to the end of her journey with me. The pram has been wonderful. Its kept her warm. We put a pillow in their so she was snuggled and a blanket. The thick hood kept her out of drafts. I'm glad I bought this when I did.Well its 2021..my Belle has passed 25th August 2020. 2 wks shy of her 17th birthday. I still have the pram. Its still in good working order. Nothing more to say. Take care of your fur babies

I bought the Karlie Sports Buggy in October 2016 so have had plenty of time to give this product a real test and I am not disappointed. It is well made and sturdy, the white stitching is reflective and there are two built-in pockets in the hood; a handy place for poo bags or dog treats. It weighs at least 15 kg, so is more than twice the weight of the cheaper buggies, it has two good lifting handles and I haven’t found the weight a problem. I have a Fiat Panda with not the biggest boot but the Karlie fits with the front wheel removed. I don’t find the fixed front wheel a problem, on rough ground you wouldn’t want a wheel wobbling in every direction, the buggy is smooth and well balanced,it manoeuvres easily and goes off-road, uphill and even manages uneven paths or stony tracks. The hood can be unzipped so the dog can face forward, face you or sit ‘in the middle’, the flexibility with the hood allows protection from the sun. My buggy came with a thick rain cover that can handle the heaviest of downpours. The Karlie does not come with an interior cushion for the dog, however, a normal size bed pillow fits fine and a cool mat can be used in the summer. I attached two short leads to the interior so the dog can’t ‘jump out’. I’m very pleased with this buggy and would recommend it; in fact, I’ve been stopped many times by people wanting to know where to buy one.

Perfect for my elderly (smallish) border collie, so she could accompany my other 15 yr old collie on walks to the beach, over pebbles & somewhat rough ground, & nearby lanes. Nicely 'off road' & robust. Lift front wheel to steer corners, not a problem. She easily got used to it, & sat there peering out like royalty. I found I could 'lock' the brake on for getting in & out / parking, by attaching a small slightly stretchy loop to the handle bar & sliding it over the brake handle to keep it 'ON'. The pram attracted a lot of sympathetic attention to the dog - I didn't feel a fool! Seen quite a few around now. Also handy for taking my subsequent collie pup to town to socialise in safety, before vaccs effective, saved a lot of arm-ache from carrying him. Handy undercarriage shelf for poo bags & other stuff. First one had the zip sewed into the netting, & the replacement (arrived before other collected) had a faulty brake, so i swapped the first one's netting & had a good pram. Note that there is a red push thing to fold the pram - the instructions were not good & black & white photos not helpful, but not too bad to assemble.

I saw someone with this pet-stroller over my local dog walk and thought it looked really good. She had a large British Bull Dog in it and it had plenty of room and looked really comfortable. Decided to swallow the cost of the Karlie and purchased it for my 12 year old Bug (Pug cross Boston Terrier) who has arthritis. It was just as expected, strong, sturdy, stylish and very well made. My dog is used to being in a stroller, as i have had one to help her for a few years but she has always struggled to lay down in it. She doesn't have this issue now. The Karlie stroller is very spacious and great for bumpy surfaces, much like an off roading means of transport for dogs! The wheels are great and come off at the click of a button for easier storage but when they are dirty, it can become abit of a mucky task! Really happy with the stroller it is well worth the big price tag in my opinion. Only down side for me is that its quite large and heavy, meaning in and out of the car is abit of a challenge!

Bought this for our cairn terrier after he tore his cruciate ligament. We tend to walk for about 1 to 2 hours a day with the dogs through woodland and often over quite muddy ground. We needed something that was easy to push over rough ground, stable, didn't get bogged down in mud and was easy to fold down and set up.The karlie sport bugg turned out to be perfect for this.We have had it about a month now and taken it through woodland, muddy commons, snow, slush, ice and very rough ground. It has handled them all with ease.Having air filled tyres means it just glides along quietly on any terrain and the brakes ensure it doesn't wander off when on hills and left unattended. This was the third strollerwe tried before we found one we were happy with and could cope with the terrain we walk over and through and was well worth the money.I'd give this 10 out of 10 so far as really cannot fault it.

Ok first the good news, gorgeous brilliant awesome quality from what it looks like fresh from the box. If I still lived in California and was leaving it in one piece and jogging/going to the beach, forest/trails PERFECT! if you live in Europe and want to transport this and don't have a Range Rover, FORGET IT. its HUGE even folded down with the wheels off and going into European cafes forget it! This really is meant for outdoor jogging type transport. not meant for car/restaurant/tube style of living. German quality is brilliant. nothing flimsy will last forever. so SAD SAD to return it but in our 5series Estate BMW with luggage, its just too darn big! length is brilliant, quality is awesome.its just heavy for a female to load/offload with wheels off. and its big big :-( My old American life would/could have handled it with the big SUV car I had. Europe sadly is small small and not for us

I use this for taking my dog for walks and for vet visits. I have only 1 complaint, which is that there are gaps my JRT squeezes her head into at the sides where you zip up, she has managed to tear this area, but otherwise this buggy is excellent! The tyres are well spaced apart, I don't kick anything as there is plenty of leg room, the handle is easily adjustable and comfortable and the dog can see out the front, top and back if you choose! The ride is very comfortable with air filled tyres all round, but the front wheel does not spin to turn corners so you do need to lift a little, it's a minor niggle.Buggy comes with a basket and good quality raincover, frankly I feel like it's a great bargain,I can actually fit both my dogs in there. I've paid more for less with childrens prams to be honest. Watch out for punctures though, take an emergency puncture repair kit.

Mine came today and we love it. Took my husband just 15 mins, and no swearing to put it together. Some have issues with the board but there is a pocket under the main body that the 2 short pole ends slot into, you will need to fold it down to get them in and push the main body forward slightly, then there is no issue at all. Its really really sturdy and will mean for us a bigger scope for walking as we have a cheaper one at the moment and its a pain to push over grass. Megg has torn ligaments on all four legs but is not up to surgery so she cant walk very far at all. We intend to insert a memory form base and will do it so it levels out the base which does slope slightly. Good product, which gives animals and people their freedom again

Our elderly Westie is unable to walk any distance so we needed a buggy to be able to continue our daily walks. We like to wander "off road" so we wanted something that could handle more than pavements and the big wheels on this model made it ideal. On arrival all we had to do was attach the wheels and mudguard and adjust the brake, which was quite straightforward. It folds up easily and is light to stow in the boot. Although the front wheel is fixed it is easy to steer by slight pressure on the handle. All in all I think this is a great product and has quality German engineering and best of all our Dog absolutely loves travelling in style.Thoroughly recommended.

Tried it on yesterday on wood terrain. Great! My Scottish Terrier is already protecting it as part of own propety. Took it very well. And understood that was her carrier for good. Has giving her a peace of mind as she can walk one way but coming back she needs to be carried. We went through patholes, stones, rocks branches... Might not be the Ferrari of dog Buggies but certainly it is at least an Audie. Would have been great if it had suspension. And it come with a fixed safe bed as it only comes with the board base. Air tyres. You need an air pump, puncture set, and screw driver to put it togheter.

This is just SO wonderful. We don't actually have a dog now, a rather nasty accident involving a cement mixer but it upsets me to talk about that...Anyway it's great for putting granpa in when we get the phone call from the local bar every Friday evening. "Can you come and pick Joe up, he's done it again, passed out in the toilet."He isn't very tall and his slumped over drunken posture makes it so easy to shove the old devil in. His legs do tend to flop about a bit but being comatose it's not such a big problem.Wonderful purchase and such bright colours too.

Received my dog stroller yesterday and just installed it and used it for the first time. One of the rear wheels was flat and I took it to the local bicycle centre. They said that there was a puncture in it and they repaired it while I waited and the cost was £12.00. I think Amazon should pay this back to me but I cannot find anywhere how to inform them! The actual stroller is fabulous, with big wheels it's easy to push and my 13 year old Westie was super happy while we had a long walk in the park. Really good product except the flat tyre!

We ordered this buggy for our 14 year old cavalier King Charles for visiting the Lake District in and managing rougher terrain than a small wheel buggy , first buggy sent was faulty due to being hard to fold and unfold and not tracking straight , Amazon replaced it no quibble and new buggy is fine folds easy , runs straight and smooth and has loads room for the dog to spread out in when she wants a sleep , highly recommend if you want to explore slightly rougher terrain than ordinary Tarmac paths , has brake lever too for steep inclines

It's good but on steep hills the buggy bounces when you apply the front brake so the front brake doesn't hold. I found this a big problem as my dog weighs 12kgs and I struggled to stop the buggy running down the hill. However it enables me to take my dog on long walks again even though he has arthritis o he can walk on level ground and be in the buggy on the hills. It's a pity it looks so much like a baby buggy as people tend to think I'm babying my dog instead of it being a tool to let him join in my exercise routine of walking.
