I love a good whisky and am particularly fond of the heavily peated and smoky output from the island of Islay. My personal favourite being Lagavulin, which is probably the most strongly flavoured whisky on the market. Recently we had guests visiting from America, and knowing that my love of strongly flavoured whiskies is not shared by everyone, I thought I would try Jura Superstition as a more gentle introduction to malt whisky for the inexperienced.What a wonderful decision. Superstition is dangerously quaffable. Although it certainly has significant flavours of both peat and smoke, these are wrapped in a very well rounded experience that has an almost sweet finish.

I like Isle of Jura whiskys, i went to a tasting a while back and they were all very good but i couldn't remember which ones i had tried. This bottle is Superstition which i bought for a competitive price on Amazon a little while back.The whisky is strong and peaty and has a long spicey aftertaste, it is quite heavy and very rich so its not easy to drink too many glasses of it but that's hardly the point. Its dark and powerful and earthy with lots and lots of flavour that gives a long finish. If you like a smokey, earthy and flavoursome Islay style whisky this is for you. If you want something light,

You know what? This Whiskey is almost too nice to drink haha! I am not a big Whiskey drinker but do enjoy a glass or two on a Sunday evening, watching a movie etc. This one is just smooth, has still a lot of richness to it and does definitely not burn the throat.I really like it, highly recommended if you are not looking for a piece of smokey wood but more for an easy to drink and just delicious whiskey.

A truly magnificent whisky, going up in price all the time superstition has always been my goto mid price whisky, and i defy anyone to beat it at this price. I dk why ppl claim lophraig is better which is rotten akin to mouthful of dishwasher salt.If you like really tastey whisky drink this neat.I'm not a connisseur but I know what I like and Jura makes some fine Whiskys.

Just like drinking a growbag.Seriously I love it.This is my husband speaking.It was a present.Just what he expected to taste.My granddaughter tried it and she said it was lovely.If you like peatiness you will like this

I love Isle of Jura's Superstition whisky. Much superior to the very average Origin, this is a great tasting whisky, not too heavy, and a hint of sweetness. Very enjoyable! And at a good price on Amazon too.

I brought this for my husband and he loves it. he has tried other Jura whiskeys before and never been disappointed. amazon offer a good choice which isnt always available locally at a good price

My husband was made up with this whisky. We both enjoy Jura whisky's but this is the first time we have tried Superstition we both agree it won't be the last. Excellent taste.

Bought this as a gift for my dad! He's a huge whiskey lover so I thought this would do the trick! I was right he loved it and do did I lol!! Great product and a great price!

Jura is a great, full flavored whiskey, and at £25 on Amazon it is a steal. Got it delivered to the door for free too! A wee splash of water and I am a happy man!

Great to sip with friends or just cosy up on winter’s night or any other time of the year. Taste really is as described and does not disappoint.

Wanted a specific whiskey and found this. It was exactly what I ordered and not too expensive either. Great to be able to find unusual spirits.

Superstition is my favourite Jura whisky. It's lightly peated which gives a gentle smokey taste with a touch of honey and spice. A lovely dram.

Very nice for the price. Just enough smokiness. Luckily, tastes nothing like the awful Whyte & Mackay's blended, who are owners of the brand.
