I have tried several products in the last year or so. My nails usually very strong have started flaking and keep doing so. Frustratingly so, especially since every time the flaked off part is near the ridge, it catches on something and flakes all over again..groan! I tried everything! Gel nails seem to be 1 temporary solution, but the drawback is that gel dries my nails and after few weeks I still manage to flake a couple.. I tried this brand before, a different product, bought from high street at a much higher price. I decided to try this "Recovery" base-coat. I know different people swear by products like OPI, NAILS etc.. but having tried them and having been very disappointed,

For two years I have been having a gel painted on my nails. Two months ago I found that my nails underneath were disintegrating. The nail beds became pink and the nail ends very soft. I stopped the gel and bought this basecoat which is easy to apply and really protects my damaged nails. I can use varnish over the top. This really does the job.

My nails were very dry after having 'gels' removed - never again! Bought this in the hope it would restore them to something like normal and it has. It takes time but it does work. Leaves a glossy shine to the nails.

I love this product. I use as a top coat and give a fab shine which last for days. Also, can use a cheap nail varnish and seal with this product - lasts just as long. Good size - lasts for ages.

The best repairing base coat. Its thick consistency covers up any ridges, repairs damaged nails and is lovely and shiny so it makes your nails look nice and healthy. Highly recommended.

I been using this product for a few weeks on my brittle nails and the difference is starting to show, my nails not only feel stronger they also look much better and are getting longer

Have used this basecoat for the last two years, and find it suits my nails which were easily broken,but have improved considerably since using this every week

Love this- have only just started to use as my nails flake split and break very easily. Will see if it does what it says over the coming weeks

This product is well worth the price. I have very soft nails which flake, I have only used it once yet but so far it is helping my nails.

keeps my nails in good condition, only 4 stars because of length of time to dry. would be nice to have a little more shine

Fantastic product does exactly what it says. My nails were in a dreadful state but after using this there back to normal.

Bought this as a gift and was extremely successful. Have already bought again. Really improves very soft flaky nails.

This worked really well for the initial stages post acrylic. I now use Fusion to help with the 'peeling' issues!!

A must for damaged nails, mine are having a break from gels and I can feel the difference after one application.
