It's hard to compare this to other gins as it's in a league of its own. The only ones cose are Blue Bottle Gin and Brooklyn gin - and it certainly has the most similar taste profile to Brooklyn gin.The taste is just sublime, with the botanicals and juniper creating an amazing taste.Hyperbole is easy on these reviews - but to say the least I've drunk a lot of gin. The gin in pubs, the boutique gins I get from specialist shops for £40 - £50, gins from all countries, gins from the gin club.But to me - this is the one. Try it, you won't regret it.

It is a gift for someone as a thank you.They said that they were introduced to it in a pub there while staying with a friend. They said it was the best ever Gin, so hope I have the right one.I understand it is the only Gin made on the Isle of Wight, so should be. Thank you. J.K.

A beautiful gin and a beautiful bottle - this is the best price I’ve found for it online! We collect gins and live in Scotland, we have found Amazon to be the best place to get them! This gin is outstanding and at a really great price! 10/10

Bought as a Christmas present for my bestie!! We went to the Isle of Wight a few years ago visited the distillery fascinating!! Mermaid Gin is very good quality and has a distinct taste. The bottle is very stylish a real eye catcher!!

Posh gin. Wife’s present. Still sat on shelf because it’s(Quote) “too pretty to open”. She made up with it though. Always fondling it and smiling.Well worth the buy. Probably tastes great too (if it’s ever opened)

Love this Gin. It's quite smooth with a little hint of citrus..the bottle is lovely as well & will be one of my collection of Gin bottles. Would definitely recommend if your a Gin lover.

Purchased as a present for my partner and she loved it. The bottle is now on a drinks shelf to be shown off when people are round. The gin is apparently good but nothing amazing.

I discovered this at the Gin festival at Tobacco Dock last month. I think it's the botanicals they use, including samphire, that make a difference. Not a sweet gin. Just perfect.

40th b’day present for the wife. Very happy with it, she can’t abide the cheap nonsense now - only fine guns for her refined pallet - and this was a hit.
