Hiya,I own all of the imagine games, and really like them, however there are a few disapointments, but this game, it's great, and is one of the best imagine games! The gameplay is quite simple, so it's good for youger players, but not so easy that teenagers would get bored in two minutes. You have to style a model, so you might have to style their hair, change it's colour, length etc, paint nails, blow into the microphone to dry them :) or you may have to do some photoshoots and catwalk sessions. It's great, it gets you addicted for a while and the graphics are brilliant and the music is catchy too, and of course, the storyline is rather predictable, but it's okay. Also, you get to design your own clothes as well,so if your bored of doing the mission,s just get designing for a while! So, the bad points, well, the storyline is a bit predictable, girl meets boy blah blah blah!! Also if people do not like imagine games and simulation games, then I wouldn't buy this game. However it is not also advisable to play this game on long journeys either, as I think it wouldn't take long to complete, especially if your older than the recommended age (like me!)It's one of the better imagine games I think, and I think also that a lot of thought has gone into making this game, and has not been a "hurry up and get it made" sort of thing, it definetly goes into the top three imagine games, if your girly, like fashion, makeup etc, buy it, if you don't, go for another imagine game or something more adventrous.

Before I start the review I have found out this is the same game as Fashion Designer: New York that came out in the US.You start out as a young woman who works at a fashion agency and you have workshops where you learn how to do make-up, design clothes, do hair and prepare catwalk shows and photo shoots, basically everything a fashion model does, I expected to actually play as the model in this game but you don't, you basically prepare everything for her. You are set tasks where you have to put together a whole look for a model and you have to do her clothes, hair and make-up accordingly, then later on do a photo shoot with her and a catwalk appearance. The game itself with the tasks isn't that long, maybe 6 hours or so, but you can spend endless hours creating different looks for the models and things like that, as you complete the tasks you are rewarded with more colours for your make-up palette, more clothes, hairstyles, locations, etc.The controls are easy, the only niggle is side scrolling through the office you work at can sometimes be a pain as it can stick, but actually doing the tasks is quite easy.I know the Imagine games get quite a lot of bad press but basically this is one of three I own and I have enjoyed them all, they are perfect for just picking up and playing for a while if you don't have the time for a long gaming session. I am looking forward to seeing what game they bring out next as they are coming out at an alarming speed.

It is quite short but not too short(I completed it in about 4 days.) There is a cliched storyline, you don't have much input in it. The tasks are nice and there are quite a lot of them. I love the 'fashion tidbits' that you unlock over the course of the game. For each task you get 3 go's at it. If you're struggling, please press the question mark at the bottom of the screen (obvious, but I didn't achknowledge it until near the end of the game.) At the start of the game you can give the character you play a name. It would have been better if you could have chosen her appearance etcetra. Also when you're not doing tasks, Ubisoft could have given her a customizable apartment and given players a mini sims type option.:)

I bought this for my 9yr old daughter her and her friends absolutely loved it. She has played it to death! She loves changing the hair and make-up. Also good for teaching them planning when they have a mission to do.

I didn't play this myself but the children were entertained for hours and it's something they keep going back to again and again, there's many games you can't say that about.
