I'm actually surprised how warm this is. I buy Columbia coats for the Alaska winter. They're expensive but they last and provide good warmth. I've only worn this for week in the early winter, but this seems as warm as my winter coat in a much lighter and nicer looking package! The only thing I'm missing is the hood. I guess I'll just have to wear a hat!This feels like a premium product. The nylon on the outside has very light striping that you can't see unless you're looking right at it but gives it a faint pinstripe look. The inside has a little more texture and feels nice. There are little soft stretch cuffs to keep wind or snow from getting in your sleeves. Every stitch is very straight and well done.

My husband buys a huge amount of icebreaker and spends ages tracking prices - even more than I do! So needless to say this must be a pretty decent deal. He does love this jacket. I have to say the only thing I get annoyed with is washing as i’m the one that washes them and you have to wash as wool with no spin or low spin. Therefore they can take a while to dry. They also should dry flat which again is a bit of a pain however my husband does love them and to get him to love any item of clothing is pretty hard so it’s still five stars from me (and him)

finally, a technical jacket that's light and actually looks stylish. nice square shoulder look vs the puffy man look.Pros - Fit, look, lightweight and warm for how light it is (this is NOT a snow jacket etc but great for chilly fall mornings or evenings etc...)Cons - None except the price... at $280 its way too expensive, would only purchase it under $200Update; July 2019 - jacket is still going strong

Exceptionally warm and lightweight. Packs into itself. It IS as good as advertised. Really the best that I have found (and I bought and returned 3 other top brands' jackets in this process). I recommend with highest recommendation!

This is my second order from this tradeinn related website. Jacket came just as described. I get away with a t-shirt and the jacket on most Bay Area days of the year.
