Really warm and comfortable middle layer. I use it for commuting on bike down to 0°C with a padded Patagonia shirt jacket or Arc'teryx shell jacket if it's raining.Expect the sleeves to be rather long with thumb holes. Doesn't bother me, it's a plus when you're biking but I know some people find that annoying.

I love wool and this plays right into that. It is comfortably warm and wears very well. The "handcuff" sleeves are a great feature and the stretchable material makes it perfect for layering. Highly recommend!
