I decided to get this headset about 2 or 3 weeks ago because my other ones broke and seeing this one having gleaming reviews and being on the cheaper side for headsets as good as people were saying, I bought it.The first thing I’ll mention (which is the only thing you probably want to know) is the sound quality. ITS AMAZING! I’ve had plenty of headsets but none are as good as this, no matter what game you play you can hear everything going on and it’s not loud enough to make your ears bleed either, it’s the perfect balance. I’ve been playing Rainbow Six Siege for years now and no headset has made my gameplay feel so much better than this one, I instantly saw improvement, you can hear every detail and it helps in those clutch situations or when you’re spectating a friend giving them call outs as sometimes your friend doesn’t even hear the Capitão rappelling on the wall behind them. If you’re an epic gamer these are a must! However, for the mic quality, it’s a much different story. When you get these and first start using it you don’t realise how quiet the mic is and what it sounds like. I save lots of clips on my PS4 and when I watch them back the mic does not sound very good if I’m being honest, it seems like there was more effort in the sound quality than coms. If you use PS4, go to settings - devices - audio devices - adjust microphone level and turn it right up. It might only be my headset as none are the exact same but please make sure you test how it sounds by talking when adjusting microphone level and just asking your friends because they sound like Astro A30s, luckily, my friends don’t mind it but I know how some other people can be and couple that with a minor echo and you’ll probably be getting kicked out of most parties you join.Overall, I do recommend this headset if you’re the solo gamer, the sound quality is just unreal and makes you feel completely immersed, but if you play with your friends very often, you’d be better off unplugging the mic on the headset and using another like a blue yeti for example.I hope this review helps with your final decision!

This is probably one of the higher end gaming headsets I've used, as far as look and feel go (despite the pretty basic plastic mould packaging), and as far as overall quality of sound and connectivity goes too. This is to say that I'm slightly surprised they weren't more expensive, because they're really impressive.Gaming headsets can be really ugly brutes, to the point where you'd never even consider using some of the designs as standard headphones, but here it's different. These are borderline sleek! A major plus is that the mic is detachable, so you can use these as music headphones without having to fork out for a separate pair. The blue, signifying the PS4 edition, is fantastic, bright and followed through onto the aluminium bracketing. Even the stitching on the headband get the blue PS4 treatment. These really are great looking things. They also feel great and are really nice and light to wear, with the thick cushioning on both the underside of the band and the ear cups.Used as gaming headphones you have a very good quality bendable mic, and the headphone (whilst not detachable too) is strong and comes equipped with a volume control. Sound-wise these are fantastic, with good bass and surprising clarity on the higher end, which is great to see.Overall these are top quality gaming headphones, I just hope that the cabling between one of the cups and the headband is strong, because that is just begging to be caught on something and ripped out...

Incredibly comfortable, even while wearing glasses. The memory foam pads are very soft and the headset is pretty light so I was able to wear these for a few hours and I barely noticed them. They feel solid, even though they are light. The inline volume adjust and mute button are a must, definitely worth paying a little extra. They also just look nice, I'd say they look nicer in person than in the photos. Good quality headset that delivers like a high end set for a lot less.Haven't tested the mic yet. Will probably edit this review when I do so.The sound quality is pretty good. Handles gaming sounds very well, though it handles low end better than high end, but you should be able to make adjustments on a console, computer, or smartphone. Compared to my Sony MDR-XB950BT the sound isn't quite as good, but those are $150-200 headphones made specifically for music, so the fact that I can even compare them is pretty impressive for an $80 headset. One minor complaint I have is that the cord isn't detachable. It would make storing it easier and make me less worried about it getting damaged at the connection point, but you just have to be a little more careful when storing them.Speaking of the cord, the 3.5 mm jack and the mic jack are apparently "gold plated" (may be rhodium)...they at least have a gold color, so I'll give HyperX the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are, so that's a nice touch.

I have purchased two in this series. This was purchased for my wife and is the Gaming Headset. That means it comes with a single 3.5mm headphone jack suitable for stereo listening and voice in one. There is a bag with adapters for mic and headphones if you want to switch for a PC.I switch with my wife when we are doing different things. She uses this with our TV (plays through the remote which is awesome) listening to one of her soaps or I do when I watching Anime. Both of us dislike the others choice ;).The sound is extremely good. I also use them for serious gaming on the XBox One, PS4, and our other systems. They are excellent. Serious next level.for less than $100 I am aware of no better headphones with speaker on the market at this time. Good for gaming computer or console, cell phone, TV, or anything you have. Good sound isolation (not cancellation).Comes with optional add on for PTT or phone answering. These HyperX beat all my other gaming headphones razor, turtle, logitech in the $125 and below. For comparison I own some Bose noise cancelling $250-350 that are great for travel but not gaming the speaker is kinda wonky on the Bose also always worried I'll damage them. If you wanna go $200+ well that is a much higher level than I want to spend on my games. Mostly because my kid and friends don't always treat my stuff like I do.

I bought this headset to use on my Xbox One as well as PC. I’m not a pro gamer by any means but I’d like to think of myself pretty experienced when it comes to the games and accessories. This headset is by far the best I’ve ever owned. I read plenty of reviews, looked on forums, and asked around. Everyone seems to love these headsets so I figured I’d give it a try. Comfort wise this is fantastic, I’ll play anywhere from 2-4 hours some days, and sometimes I forget I’m even wearing it. It also feels very well made, lots of headsets I’m worried that one wrong move it’s just going to snap. This feels both heavy duty, but extremely light at the same time. Sound quality wise it’s much better than my previous (Turtle Beach XOFour)Lately I’ve been playing Rainbow Six Siege, which requires a lot of listening to your surroundings, this headset has allowed me to play much better. I haven’t had any complaints on the way I sound, so I imagine the quality at which others hear your is great as well. Overall I love this headset, and I’d encourage you, as well as all of my friends to try it out as well.Pros: LightweightDurableGood sound qualityThreaded cableAesthetically pleasingConsOnly con I’ve found is the ear cuffs don’t rotate side to side, personally I never use that functions anyways, but some may find a problem with that.

Have had these since the 8th of December 2017. So far the product is pretty amazing for being on the lower end of the spectrum of headsets. Audio quality is pretty excellent, again for the price. No static , no breaking in sound quality etc.The only "complaints" I have are the location of the volume adjuster. And there's no volume indicator on it. And it's made of cheap plastic. It's located on the wire, maybe a foot down the cord and it isn't the best . It easily spins in either direction. No, not freely. You definitely need to move it yourself, however if you rub it up against something it'll either move all the way up or all the way down which happens quite often for me.)Since I lay back and game most of the time) and it just sits in the way. So be aware that it's adjusted in the middle somewhere before each use or you could blast your ear drums haha. The other part that's not that great but not that awful is the size adjusters . They click each size but it sounds and feels like in no time at all they will become loose..I will leave an edit in the future if either of these things becomes a bigger issue but for now I give it a solid 4 stars. Would definitely consider buying again and recommend you buying it if you're the budget spender ?

These are easily the most comfortable headphones I've ever used. They fit perfectly around me ears, the band isn't too tight, and the sound is unbelievable. For gaming, the sound is so good, I can hear enemies so crisply and know exactly where they are coming from.My only gripe with them is that the volume control right from the get go was broken. I have to leave them close to all the way up and cannot adjust them without them completely going out or creating a great deal of static. I have an adapter that came with another brand's headphone brand, which negated the volume control on the cord of the HyperX, but I was really disappointed that they came out of the box like that.I had hoped maybe it was a fluke and it would fix itself, but that was just hopeful thinking. Without this flaw, they are the best headset I've ever purchased, but I would be open to trying others.

Great headset, extremely comfortable. I decided to move on from my last two headsets because they weren't as comfortable as I would have liked, so after hearing people rave about Clouds I decided to try it. It's as good as advertised: I can wear this for hours on end without any issues at all. The build quality also appears to be very good, there's some real weight to it; I don't anticipate these falling apart anytime soon.My one gripe with the headset out of the box is that the mic is very quiet. I had multiple complaints from friends on Skype and Discord that they could barely hear me unless I put the mic basically in my mouth. This was resolved, however, by downloading Equalizer APO and applying it to the headset mic.As soon as I did that, the complaints all went away, and now several people have commented on how good the mic sounds.

Over the past two weeks I've purchased, Turtle Beaches, Logitechs, Astros and returned them all. All had issues with Xbox One.After ordering this headset I'm done searching.I was hesitant to return my Logitech G633. It looked and felt premium, but the mic was so sensitive it picked up game sounds from inside the headphones and the ear muffs were scratchy fabric. The sound was amazing though. I was hesitant to return them, but then I ordered Hyperx Clouds. The ears are the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. This can't be understated enough. It's like pillows on your ears. The sound matches Logitechs best headsets and with Dolby Atmos on Xbox it sounds amazing. If yourbon Xbox One or even any other platform. This headset is the best you can buy for this price range.

So the product itself is great. The headphones are insanely comfortable, the sound quality is very good, and though you have to do some tweaking to get the microphone to sound good on PC, it's quite good once set up. The only thing that docks a star from this particular model (the silver one) is that for some reason, it doesn't come with nearly as many extras as the black or white models. I can see why it wouldn't come with the little audio box thing, and maybe even one of the extra cables since it has the inline controls. But it doesn't even come with the extra set of velour earpads! I don't know why they don't include all of the same extras in this one considering it's the same price as the other two,but it is somewhat frustrating.

Arrived today.. Cheaply packaged, but thankfully, the product itself is of really good quality. It feels expensive with it's aluminium frame and looks much better than any other gaming headset I've owned in the past. Very easy to set up. Just plug the lead into the 3.5mm jack on your PS4 controller. Then go to the audio settings within the PS4 (Audio Output Settings / Output To Headphones - ALL) and job done. You can change the volume with the dial built into the headphone cable. The Microphone is detachable which is a handy feature as I don't plan on using it very often.Sound quality is very nicely balanced, and sensibly volume is limited.Overall I really like these.

These headphones are specifically adapted for Game Playing via the PS4, but also work great as regular headphones. The headphone sound is overall clear and punchy, but a little bass-light for listening to regular music. That said, headphones presenting a 'true' picture are usually bass-light, because the way we perceive bass has to do with the way the whole body responds, which of course headphones cannot emulate. You could double up these headphones for shooting video or tracking music. The massive over-ear design means that you will get relatively little leakage—very important if those you share living space with are unhappy about the sounds of gaming.

Purchased about a month ago, sound quality is great from my end and the voice clarity is great. Only issue I have is that every time I play with other people they tell me there’s an echo off my mic and constant white noise when I’m not talking. No external disturbances so I’m not entirely sure what’s causing it. But for me they work great.Update: After 6 months of use I started getting a constant cut out and crackling in the headset. I tried everything I could to fix it but could not.EDIT: found out it was the controller and not the headset! These babies are going back up to 5 stars. I always know where you’re coming from...

My son's talked me into trying these out as they love theirs and I needed a new set. I bought them a while back when they were on sale and haven't regretted my purchase on bit. I know there are better headsets out there but for the money, these are a win for me. They do what I need and being bald, they are quite comfortable for many hours of use. Other headsets tend to get uncomfortable and hurt the top of my head after only a short while. Also, I wear glasses and was worried that these would get uncomfortable because of that however I've got no complaints. Totally would recommend these to anyone looking for a solid headset.
