I was a bit dubious about buying this after reading some reviews.My tin had a solids at the bottom which took a good five minutes stirring and squishing.I painted some model tank tracks and drive wheels and left it a minute or so.I rubbed a wheel to see if it was dry - it was - and it looked a bit polished.A bit more rubbing with just a finger and it came up a nice polished steel effect.Amazing.I used a toothbrush on the tank tracks and they came up beautifully.I think the trick is in the stirring an making sure all the solids are dispersed.Recommended.
