This was a replacement for a poor quality Epson (I had been an Epson buyer for 20 years).This printer/scanner does everything well, although there are some areas for improvement. The print quality is superb and I can print professional documents at home that resemble the documents that I can print from the office. The toner is not badly priced and doesn't get used too fast. The fax works well and the scanner is ok. Why is the scanner only ok? Well this is probably the weakest part of the printer/scanner. The quality is not fantastic and the software doesn't work properly, so getting this to work across a network is difficult. Luckily I have a great scanner at the office so can scan my paperwork there,

Great all round printer. Easy to install, i needed to get windows 7 drivers but availsble at HP site.Extremely easy to set-up, and a wee note to remember, always disable your virus software while installing.Prints are fantantic, scans and faxes work great.I have several different operating systems working through the printer via Network all work fine, Xp, Vista and Windows 7.Highly recomend this.

bought it as used printer. drivers were quite easy to find from hp website, directly plugged into my PC. I enjoy printing, copying, scanning and e-mailing facility. I don't use the fax function though...so don't know wabout that!
