The printing on this is excellent and you have loads of control. Envelopes are also easy to print although you do have to open up the paper drawer. Hard to give figures on how long the toner lasts as I'm still on the original after printing a few hundred closely typed double sided sheets. Printing is really fast and the scanner doesn't waste too much of your time either.One slight annoyance is the scanning from the printer where you have to go through the process of selecting the various touch screen options every time you scan. You can still scan using the document feeder but if you do individual documents you have to go through the options for each one, 4 selections on the touch screen each time.

I needed a standard printer for all users, and the same toner cartridges. A good printer, useful scanner and a great price. A bonus was that I discovered a very useful management app that lets me see clearly how the printers are doing and status of cartridges.
