Having bought many hoses including the soft ones that scrunch up to nothing, in the hope that tidying away after use will be easy with no back breaking effort of hand winding a traditional hose onto its wheel, I saw this self winding hose at a friends house. Came home and found it at the best price anywhere and 2 days later it arrived! It is the best garden tool I could ever have invested in! Watering the whole garden is an absolute breeze. The best part is the speed and ease of putting it away, it just does all the hard work. Can’t recommend highly enough. Don’t put off buying this because of price because it is worth every penny! An investment!!!

I love the automatic retraction of the hose.I’ve purchased countless reels over time. Although this one is on the pricey side…I could have bought this one a couple of times over with the money I’ve spent on previous hose reels.Only had it a Month but it all works great.....no faults yet.It is heavy to lift but that's because I went for the 40m version.So do yourself a favour and trade up to this one -and I hope like me, it will save you time, effort, and above all, Money in the long run.

This hozelock autoreel is ideal it makes putting the hose away so easy due to it's system for rewinding into itself. Have only used a few times but found it to be ideal as it allows you to take out as much hose as you require and your not tripping over excess. You can lock the reel to prevent it going back into reel when using so all round good design. when fitting to wall you may require a second person as 40 meter version is large and fairly heavy

Pros- really long hose and the auto retract is a dream. None of the hassle and mess of having to reel it back yourself. Good quality hose and very convenient Cons - it is expensive and the hose box is HUGE. The retraction takes a bit of getting used to, you need to pull it quickly and let it snap back to lock or it feels like it's constantly trying to retract! The nozzle isnt great, better with a gun nozzle but that is more expense.

This is an excellent product which was fairly easy to install and very easy to use. It came complete with all the necessary fittings to secure it to the wall although I decided to use my own slightly stronger fixings. Also included is a water-stop connection and adjustable spray nozzle. The hose is also of good quality. Operation is straightforward. I'm very pleased with the product and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Super fast delivery, and excellent product. Slightly overpriced but certainly does the job.Easy installation and looks excellent against the wall. Full 180 degree swivel of the hose casing... this makes it ideal for coverage.Would highly recommend this product.Note: Accessories will be found inside the hose case... panicked slightly as I assumed the parts weren’t supplied in the product packaging :)

installation seems a bit daunting at first but as long as you follow instructions exactly you'll be fine ( handy template for drilling on packaging, don't throw away !). In use it makes the job a lot easier with no tedious rewinding of reels, keeps hose tidy with guided ratchet mechanism, really clever and works well. Easy remove from wall mounting for winter storage. Worth the investment.

The side cover will not clip in properly and stands proud of the unit. This is very annoying. I am a pensioner on my own so having got the the unit mounted I didn't want to struggle to get it off the wall, boxed up and drive back to Argos for it to be replaced. Apart from that, it does make watering the garden so much easier and the actual hose doesn't kink

Very pleased with our hose, makes life so much easier, retractable so no more trying to wind the hose on. Husband fitted to outside wall & tap on his own, neat & tidy when not in use. Fast, efficient same day service from Argos after purchasing on line & at a reduced price. Been a Godsend in all of this hot, dry weather. All in All, very pleased five stars

I underestimated the size of it, I could almost water every garden in the parish. It's very large and very heavy, I could've done with a trolley from the shop to the car. Haven't got it fixed to the wall yet as I'll need help. Fantastic quality, the length is amazing and the auto rewind facility is superb. Easily 5 stars.

Excellent product, easy to use, save time by not having to wind up after every use. Really happy with this, took me about 45 mind to assemble and mount it to the wall. The screws & brackets are inside the panel, at first I thought they were missing. It’s a bit pricey for a hosepipe but you get what you pay for.

Easy to install on wall. Strong / Robust and saves the elbow grease required twice daily to manually wind back in with my old hose reel. I like the mounting so can be stored out of the way, quite a narrow profile which is a real plus.Finally looks good, tidy and I like the padlock feature for security.

This does exactly what we hoped for. Hose pulls out and retracts easily, no problems at all so far and I don’t really expect any. We can’t wall-mount it because of the location of our outside tap, so it will stand at the side of the patio and it’s extremely heavy so I’d be a bit concerned about that anyway.

Big and well built. Very easy to use and the auto rewind feature makes it even easier. The fixing bracket does need to be very secure as the unit is heavy particularly when full of water. You may need to upgrade the screws that are supplied. It is expensive but it makes watering the garden much easier.

I wish I’d got one of these years ago! No more struggling to coil up the hose, no more taking up space in garage! Garden watered, car washed in half the time! Works brilliantly and easy to fit, hose reel can be removed from bracket for extra security if needed but can be securely locked in place!
