Just what I needed to clean (backwash) the pool Filter. Only wish I had bought a slightly longer one 15 or 20 meters (my fault for not measuring the distance I needed and could have always cut shorter) (but I could always get another length and connector kit or a longer one if I really wanted).As other reviews have mentioned there is a chemical smell but I haven’t found it overpowering and hasn’t seemed to rub off on my hands and hopefully will disappear over time, but I do use this outside and only for a short period of time.I have it set up when backwashing by having the original filter hose (2m) screwed into the filter outlet then a reducer/enlarger type adaptor pushed into the other end of that hose then this one pushed onto that adaptor.

Unpacked item very carefully I order to test it before use. Connected it to water and was disappointed to see the hose had a severe leak approximately four metre from one end. A close examination showed it was due to a manufacturing fault on the hose! As I did not require the entire length, I simply cut off the faulty length and used the remaining length for my purpose. By its very nature this “flat-hose” you need to avoid any slight bends, corners etc as it tends to “kink” very easily - in the future I will go for a more solid ROUND HOSE.

Allows a huge supply of water through the pipe so can pump out the tank in less than a quarter of the time than using the garden hose. You cannot bend these types of pipe at all though so not as flexible as to where the water is discharged to and as the tank is an under ground tank it is a bit fiddly to ensure there is no bend in the hose as it comes above ground.

Excellent as needed to attach to pond pump. Fitted it with a jubilee clip and it worked very well - long enough to discharge the water either into a drain or onto the garden well away from the pond. Glad I bought it and didn't struggle trying to get my garden hose attached to the pump. Well worth it.

The flat hose is very handy for storage, but I found it a pain to use. Hose tends to kink rather than bend so restricts flow. Not the fault of the hose, it is good quality material, just a fact of life. If I was buying again I would go for a flexible corrugated hose with a permanently open bore.

I'm happy with this and it does what it say's on the tin. I bought it ti cope with the output of a cheap water pump and as long as it's straight it works well however it doesn't cope with being twisted or going round corners as well as your normal thick walled garden hose pipe. See photo.

Item arrived almost a week quicker than Amazon anticipated, so that was pleasing. It's a blue flat hose, no frills at all, but that was what I wanted. Well needed, really. Thanks to a flooded garden, but that's a whole other story.

Strong and wide. With the pump we bought it was amazingly fast! We regularly drop it out of the window and over obstacles to pump hot water from the bath into the hot tub and it copes with kinks and bends quite well.

I got this to go with a pump to empty my hot tub. The hose is very sturdy and along with the metal ties to attach it to the pump, it works very well! Rolls away nice and flat after use. Highly recommend it.

Strong little hose that should last a good while. You have to take care when laying it out as the water pressure may not be sufficient to straighten out any kinks but that would be true for any flat hose.

Has been a very good buy. Easy to attach to pump - a 1" jubilee clip is required. When in use fluid flows well.Easy to empty and roll up for storage. The fabric of the hose is sturdy but flexible

Not much to say except this was sturdy enough to run across the garden through several kinks, that it stayed clipped to my pump, and that it did exactly what I wanted it to.I'd recommend it.

Had to buy this to fit on a pump to empty my hot tub. It came within two days. Very happy with it it is just what I needed. Took a while to open it up as it was rolled up and flat.

Comes in a neat roll, tends to kink on first use if not a totally straight run, is not pierce resistant from sharp objects but is very tear resistant.No complaints on performance

Needed this for a sump-pump I bought to clear a flooded drive after the recent rain.Easy to fit with a jubilee clip and rolls flat after use for storage - highly recommended.
