unpack hose, and like others have said, did not expect to have to assemble fittings in centre of reel, you have to unwind all the hose off the reel to get to the fittings and instructions, it would take very little time to pre-assemble in factory where parts are known to all, instructions are poor, fitting the spring anti collapse devise in the hose took 2 attempts as hook end appeared to fit inside hose, but after trying this, it leaked, so try again this time push hook end into fitting (correct) no leaks. the instruction leaflet should have better photos and text. but for the money it should be supplied ready to use. that would also use less packaging. good product, but annoying to have to self assemble.

Pleased with the product but recommend watching YouTube videos as paper instructions are not as clear as the videos which are presented by a Hozelock expert employee.There are several individual videos for each step of the way from unboxing to actual usage.Ensure hose is fully rolled out without any kinks before turning on the water to get uninterrupted flow.

Good quality flexible hose on nice reel.However I did not expect to have to connect the hose to the reel myself.The instructions were very unclear (poor quality pictures) anf it took me some timeto work it out. Either the hose should be properly connected or the instuctions shouldbe much better.

Well for a start Hose lock is a very good make so that is why I bought it.My old hose system was rubbish. Attachments did not fit properly and it leaked and I got so fed up with it so that is why I bought a new hose system - Hose lock. It is fantastic and I am very pleased with it.

Had been looking for a Hozelock hose pipe for ages, had one but it found its way up my sons house never to be seen again! Everywhere else I looked was sold out! So was pleased to find this one, excellent same as my last one! Just what I wanted.

Great product, no problem with setting up, all works well! Reasonably priced. People don't buy any hose extension to connect between a tap and the hose as everythig is in the set.I hope it's going to last for years!

The hose is good quality, looks like it should last a good length of time and is very flexible. The fittings are really good and don't leak at all as some other makes do.

I bought a cheap hose before this one , which lasted not even twice before it sprung a leak. Basically you do get what you pay for. This hose is brilliant.

After my old hose reel kept going flat and kinking this one is a lot better it comes with a coil spring to stop it going flat , brilliant would recommend.

Had a bit of trouble at first to connect to the tap but when we had sorted that we was ready to go easy to use and easy to wine back on so good product

As described seems good quality, a little difficult to put together as the instructions are only in picture form only but once together works well

Good solid easy to assemble hose reel. Much sturdier and steadier than earlier versions. I suspect it will be less susceptible to leaks too.

Just what I needed as my other house pipe would not reach from the tap in my garage to my back garden. This hosepipe does the trick

Very happy with this hose, reel and fittings. Quality, known brand. Works very well and seems it will last. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Had to go on Hozelock to find out how to set it up as printed instructions not to clear. once that done works well no problems.
