Purchased to connect to pressure washer for general car and garden dutyconstructed from good quality plastics gives the impression should work and last wellbe aware that this unit is of HEAVY duty construction and is quite weighty and requires a good solid mounting also be thoughtful of it,s placement as it is BIG and needs to be able to swing through 180 degrees for maximum flexibility&performancenot cheep- but if you want good construction and hose quality you have got to pay for ityou could by something at half the price but then your likely to be replacing it in two years time better i think to pay more in the first place and then get 5-10 years life out of it.

IT COST A BIT MORE FOR A AUTO REEL BUT THINK OF ALL THE TIME PULLING HOSE AROUND TAKING TANGLES ,KNOTS,KINKS OUT THIS IS THE ANSWER SPENT A LITTLE TIME PUTTING BRACKET LEVEL ON WALL HOOK UP FEEDER HOSE THEN PUT YOUR HOSE GUN ON NOT INCLUDED AND YOUR DONE PULL OUT LENGTH YOU WANT AND THEN STOP IT STOPS THEN PULL FORWARD A LITTLE THEN WALK THE HOSE BACK IN LOVELY AND THE TIME YOU SAVE ALSO HOSE IS PROTECTED FROM ELEMENTS UN FROST ECT AND GETTING DROVE OVER WELL DONE HOZELOCK IVE USED THERE PRODUCTS BEFORE AND THEY ARE GOOD

This is a fantastic piece of kit for anyone who's gets frustrated using a normal hose and reel. Its a large substantial reel which once fitted to the wall moves with ease and efficency. The super tough hose doesn't kink (something I struggled to believe). Easy to pull out with an apparently new system from hozelock and with 1 pull it recoils perfectly. I'm delighted with this purchase and so is my husband - and he's not easy to impress.

my 2nd one in 2 years but it is worked hard only gripe is they do take a while to fully retract but that seems to be the case with other makes too as ive had loads over the years

Purchased to replace my old 30m hose reel. New model has a smaller lighter housing and the hose is not as heavy. Altogether a big improvement on the older model.
