When first opening the box I thought that there had been a screw up and parts left out, however all the pieces are cleverly packed away inside the unit in bags. Remove the hose and all the contents will be available. The instructions at first seem confusing as there is quite a bit of assembly required, read the instructions until it becomes clear how to assemble it, confusing at first but eventually quite simple. Once assembled it is a straight forward fix of the wall brackets, be aware when hung on the wall the unit does not swing aside and lay back flat to the wall, so if installing in a narrow passage you may have to remove to get past it. This is the case for me as while I can walk past it once hung I cannot get my mobility scooter past,

I have received and setup my Hozelock 2in1. At first I followed the instructions for putting it together (but I didn’t realise there was much putting together required before purchasing). Then I just started using it without following the rest of the instructions for first time use and best way of recoiling the hose. With this it lead to A LOT of time and effort to untangle the hose from within its casing. I then removed the hose entirely and fully read the instructions and it is now working as expected. I’m happy with my purchase, but didn’t realise there was so much to putting it together and winding in the hose as it all seems very self explanatory...But it’s not. I would recommend the 2in1,

I've had a standard free standing hose reel for years and finally it could hold together no more. I looked at the new stretchy hoses, but they are not recommended for jet washers so this was the neatest alternative. I like the fact it can be easily removed from its wall mount so is very adaptable. It was a bit of a pain to assemble it as the hose has to be removed from the reel and then re-wound, but the fittings are usual Hozelock quality as is the hose. The reel itself feels solid enough to last a few years and although the hose winds up anticlockwise which is a bit counter intuitive it works very well and no sign of any water leaking from the connections.I definitely recommend Hozelock

Good:- Easy to unwind /roll up with handle -pretty rigid assembly when wall fixed.hose and fittings(other than the end nozzle) are decent quality.Recommend you wall fix with the bottom of the casing at least 1M above ground level to avoid bending/stooping.Bad :-quite a bit of assembly work-you have to work out/identify what goes where by studying pics on packaging.I spent a lot of time puzzling over items supplied and then found a little package with one fitting stuck behind the pre-rolled hose in the casing!End spray nozzle could be better quality/design as spray pattern rather uneven/basic. You can get a different fitting i suppose but this is at the premium end and should be better -hence

After trying at least 4 of these so called wonder hoses that expand and shrink and which tend to spring a leak after a month I decided to go back to a traditional wall mounted hose from Hoselock. This is a great and versatile product which you can have as a wall mounted or free standing hose set. My only complaint is that with the generous length of hose supplied it is rather difficult to wind the hose evenly back into the housing. The sliding gadget that you use to direct the hose back onto the reel doesnt really work very well but I guess you cannot expect automatic feed on a hose at this price.

Hangs up on the wall (two such fittings supplied) or can be carried and placed on the ground. Easy to wind up etc. Mine was assembled in the factory slightly wrongly and so the winding up guide does not move as it should. I will take it apart and fix if this becomes bothersome. Certainly not worth sending it back. Came with connectors and spray nozzle. Overall very pleased.

Very easy to assemble and to fit wall brackets with clear and concise instructions. The device to layer the hose when reeling in means no more kinks if you use it as per instructions. It arrived in double quick time which was great. I'd say it is very good value for money and beats those expanding hoses (of which I've had 3) hands down.

Delighted with my new hose.Found it useful to watch a Youtube video which helped with the assembly and fitting.The only slight flaw is when having to rewind the hose back on the reel,needs to be manualy fed back and forth on to the reel,otherwise it tends to become difficult to get all of the hose back on the reel and can jam up .

I HAVE PURCHASED MANY HOZELOCKS OVER THE YEARS BUT NONE HAS COME CLOSE TO THIS ONE, EXCELLENT PURCHASE,EASY TO USE AND REEL IN ,AS A DISABLED PERSON THIS HOSE IS THE BEST I HAVE FOUND ,AND WORKS PERFECT ,NO CATCHUP'S REELS OUT JUST WHAT YOU WANT ,WITH A PERFECT SPRAY HEAD NO WORRIES, AND REELS BACK IN WITH A HOSE LOCK TO SECURE

This hose is great value and although at first glance it looks complicated to put together it proved to be very simple ( I have now bought 2 so it must be good) If I add anything it would be something to lock it to the wall as one of my hoses is to the front of the property but it will be something I can sort myself

Good item , however if a packing list had been enclosed it would have been a lot easier . There are 3 connectors - 2 of one type and 1 other - easy to connect them incorrectly. Took 30 minutes to get set up when really it should have been faster . Nevertheless it is probably the best make available .

No more fighting to reel the hosepipe in, this is a very efficient piece of kit.Came unassembled but I managed to put it together on my own and my son attached the brackets to the wall for me.It's very easy to put the reel away and I actually lift it off of the brackets and store it in the garage.

I have used a krarcher but this is far superior . Not too heavy , and very powerful . Easy to assemble , as I am a 64 year old lady. Really impressed with this machine, as the name wasn't very well known to my family they thaught it would be a waste of money. But no it was well worth it.

Much more economical than micro-irrigation. High quality. Easy to use. Took me three hours to assemble and install properly on a wall mount. A skilled DIY person could do it more quickly, but I enjoyed the challenge. I recommend watching the YouTube video before attempting to unpack etc

We found the assembly of this hose reel quite tricky as the instructions are in picture form only with no written instructions. That said, once it was assembled and mounted on the wall (using longer screws than the ones provided) it works really easily with no leaks anywhere.
