My decision to purchase was based on the reviews below. I wanted a high-mount car rack to keep myself "legal" ... the rear registration plate and lights had to remain visible.The instructions are reasonably clear, but the process of installing the item to my car wasn't straightforward. My car has a glass hatch/rear door, which meant that the hooks (at the end of the straps) are incompatible - as mentioned in the instructions, and not on the Amazon product page!! :-| To solve this problem, I had to order Saris Hatch Huggers, at my expense. Hatch Huggers are "dumbbell" shaped attachments, complete with matching straps - you "close" them into the boot/trunk area, and when the hatch is closed,

This came fully assembled which was a relief. It did, however, take a little time to work out how to attach it to the car, but it was time well spent because once adjusted it only takes a few minutes to put back on the car. I have a large cyclocross bike and the rack secures this really well. After only a few minutes driving you forget about the rack and bike on the back. I honestly thought i was going to have nightmares with a bike rack, but this Hollywood F10 is a delight to use. Highly recommended.

I have only used the rack twice and the second time was so much easier than the first as I now knew what I was doing. The rack is easy to mount and remains rock solid in use. The build quality is first rate and looks like it will last a very long time. The price I paid through Amazon was £50 cheaper than a very good local bike shop. Very impressed.

Excellent car rack and very well built.would tell anyone looking for a car rack to buy one of these.knocked a star off for the one i received was not the one pictured in the ad.The one i received had rubber straps on the arms to hold the bike down which i actually prefer, so happy endings.

It works! Like many cars nowadays my Nissan Note has small rear bumper and angled rear window. Rack easy to fit, securing straps didn't need adjustment during 2x 250 mile journeys. Horrid weather, bike pretty clean and safe higher up

This bike rack is very easy to put on and off the car, sits high enough to keep the number plate and lights visible, and is easy to get the bikes on and off. Would recommend.
