OK it isn't the cheapest of lights but it is really, really good. Ours is sited in the bathroom and is very easy to fit if you know what you're doing; as ever if not, GET A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO FIT. The light is very bright, more than ample for our standard 7'x7' (2m x 2m) bathroom. Ours is switched outside and by the time you've flicked the switch and openned the door you already have full brightness. Certainly subjectively brighter than previous 60w bulb.The only negatives are as mentioned, the price but it is still competitive and but importantly don't be put off by the plastic cover. It locks very securely and after all if it was made of glass it would make no difference except to put

Awesome light.But you need to know this unit does not use bulbs that can be replaced. Essentially the whole thing is a "bulb". It works by having a couple of dozen (approx.) LED emitters mounted on the inside. So if one fails I guess it will still work but it will have a small blind area. I knew this before I purchased so I it is a risk I will take because the lighting effect is very nice because of this feature - the whole dome glows evenly. I can also tell by the little details this is nicely made and a good quality product. I like it a lot.

Was pleased to receive this and find a quality German product. Supplied with stainless fixing screws and well sealed cable entry and screw holes. 230V. The unit only needs live & neutral connections, so if your existing light fitting has terminals for loop-in-out and earth, you'll need to put a junction box in the ceiling and just bring the two core flex out to the lamp.Nice and bright, we have this in a 1.8m x 2.5m bathroom and it's more than enough light.

Great light for the bathroom as it spreads it's light evenly and is bright so you can see what you're doing.Down side is trying to get the lid off as the instructions are in german.A bit of a twist and the lid is offWhen you switch the light on there is a bit of time lag for the light to come on about 0.5 of a second, but I don't mind that.Overall a great product.

If you need a bright bathroom light this is for you. Very bright and good value for the money, considering its the third time ive had to fit lighting in the bathroom due to spotlights butning out sns so on. Easy to fit and im hoping energy too as ive done the whole house in Leds and got rid of all my halogens.

Brilliant which is what you want. Consumption is only 14 watts where as before there was a single lamp of 150 watts. Light may cost a bit more than usual but you get your money back in the electric you are saving.

A nice elegant light easy to install, despite being only 18 watts it gave a out lots of light . In fact my wife was so impressed with it I am now buying a second to be fitted in our Ensuite.

This light is excellent. An LED light that actually gives off good quality light and at an excellent price (you can pay four or five times as much for similar products).

I have bought two of these now and can highly recommend the product. Easy to fit, quality appearance and gives lots of diffuse light.

Looks great, easy to fit, loads of light in the kitchen, and hardly any weight to it so no problems with plaster board ceilings!!

I used this in a dark entrance lobby and the result is great. Nice and bright and plenty of light to see where you are going now!
