The Philips LED G4 is very good. It works on my Ceiling Lighting which got the electronic halogen transformers. Initially I replaced all 6 halogen capsules with 6 Osram LED G4. It turned out that they did not work correctly due to the 12v electronic transformer in my ceiling light. I have to use one halogen capsules to get around the transformer issue. After I found that this Philips LED will work for both electronic and electromagnetic transformer in Amazon UK then I bought this to replace the remaining one halogen capsule. It works properly now for my ceiling light. The only thing I would like to draw the potential buyer attention that this Philips LED G4 is bigger then Osram LED,

Good product, good value for money compared with peers. Received within a couple of days of purchase and the product was extremely well packaged . . . very important for a delicate piece of kit. Unfortunately it didn't fit my light fitting . . my own fault and not that of the supplier or the capsule. I should have paid more attention to the dimensions of the capsule vis à vis my light fitting. This was the only reason I did not award 5 stars as I am unable to comment on the light output! I will, in time, find a suitable application!

The LED bulb is more cumbersome than a standard halogen G4, and may be too inelegant for some light fittings. Where its appearance is not an issue, then this is a great product
