The item is a 15 Watt incandescent light bulb made by Osram, with a E14 screw fitting, that is a SES type fitting. I am using it on a replica lava lamp that uses glitter rather than the waxes. This little bulb takes longer to get the convection going but give is a few minutes it works just as good as the 25 watt bulb, but with less brightness which is what I am after. It probably would not be good for the wax lava lamps, given the lower wattage it put out, and for the wax lamps, it would mean a longer time would be required for the wax to flow. But for glitter based lava lamps, it is great.

I'm very proud of my handiwork! After struggling with no light in the oven for months, I eventually took on the job. It was quick and easy to find out what bulb I needed, and very straightforward to replace it in my oven.I can now see what's cooking again, and every time I look at my well-lit oven I'm reminded of the fact I have the power to do these jobs myself!This bulb does an excellent job, don't be afraid to tackle the task.

I ordered this bulb specifically as it was sold by Amazon after having read reviews on similar bulbs blowing or being fakes. When it arrived, although it was in tact, the filament inside was dislodged and was hanging freely inside the bulb. I didn’t even fit it and called Amazon who replaced it immediately. The replacement works well, I believe the bulb is good and that the first one I received was just an isolated bad one.

My fan oven is fitted with a light - handy for seeing if my roast spuds are burning - but it being a light bulb, it does burn out from time to time. Handy to have a couple of these in your kitchen drawer, alongside lengths of string, paper bags and elastic bands, none of which gets used - apart from the bulb, of course! It has a decent life span (it gets daily use, after all), and is easily fitted. Highly recommended.

Needed a new bulb for our Ikea oven one we had in it blew so more like a black hole trying to cook in it.Easy to fit and it works. Seems like this is the standard fit for most electric ovens but always worth checking. I previously bought one from a shop wrong watt and it took oven out. Hard to find in some shops so much easier to purchase online here. It is a Osram branded one too so you know what you are getting.

This works a treat for my salt lamp. I needed to replace the fuse in the plug too after the first bulb blew. I noticed in a review for other bulbs that someone said they ordered 3 bulbs and none of them worked - if it doesn't look like the bulb works at first and the filament doesn't look broken then try replacing the fuse in your plug. I'm ordering 2 more of these bulbs to keep in stock for when this one blows.

As far as I can tell, this is a genuine Osram bulb. In every way I can tell it's identical to the one it's replacing, so that's probably the most important thing.It arrived safe and well, nothing broken or blown, and it's now in a wax melter. Cannot comment on longevity as it's only been in a week, but the last one was in for three years and I have little reason to think this would last much less.

This little bulb has delivered everything I expected of it, only had it a few days, so not sure on the longevity of these bulbs but my previous bulb lasted over 14 years, but it was a different brand. I see no reason why this one shouldn't be similar, being that it is a well-known brand and I fitted it carefully! It is bright enough for my needs and it is a fair price.

So after months of not having an oven light and the better half using it as an excuse for burnt food (I’m the cook in the house she’s just about able to butter toast!) I thought I’d best get another bulb. All I can really say is it lights up the oven like a light bulb is designed to do.On the flip side the Mrs has seemed to stop burning the food as much!

I bought this after having 3 Philips 25W oven light bulbs fail in quick succession. So far this one is lasting well - I am hoping the lower wattage means it is less likely to fail.Hint: if you are finding it difficult to get the screw glass cover off to access the bulb, warm the oven a little and try again - it worked for me with a Bosch oven.

Does what it says on the tin! The lights on my oven both went some time ago. Thought it would be expensive and tricky to replace, but this was a doodle. Replaced them in a couple of minutes, absolutely like for like, and oven lights are working perfectly again! Quick delivery and great price to get lights back in my oven!

Only had it in the oven for a couple of weeks so cannot give an assessment as to its longevity.With regards to the ordering process I was impressed with all the information provided and the packaging, therefore I would have no hesitation in recommending this supplier, quick efficient and value for money, thank you.

The bulb in our oven died. Luckily, I could get the blown bulb out and find a replacement. This Osram bulb is physically identical and does the job. No idea how long this bulb will last though -- the last one lasted 14 years. I expect that I'll have to replace the oven before replacing this bulb though.

I couldn't see what was cooking due to the old bulb blowing (must have been the wife's cooking).I bought this bulb and as expected I had light and could see....... just how dirty the oven was.I was left with 2 choices. Clean the oven or take the bulb out.1 x bulb for sale, hardly used.

After several cheaper bulbs had given up the ghost within a matter of days, I splurged the extra few pennies and went with the Osram bulb. Still going strong months later. The only problem is the light shows just how dirty the oven door is :( Can't win 'em all I guess!
