My mother is now in her late eighties, so likes to be able to stick to her familiar routines. I'd bought her a Maglite torch a few years ago, which she repeatedly tells me is very useful. Apparently she likes to use it when she gets out of bed during the night to adjust the central heating, shining it into the airing cupboard and turning the thermostat up or down. So when the existing bulb finally gave out and needed replacing, it was important to set the wheels in motion quickly and fix her torch to let her get back to her regular lifestyle.These bulbs are incredibly small and delicate, so need attentive care when swapping them over in the torch (or possibly other devices they might go into as well).

They work well.One tip I can pass on, from my experience of using these bulbs in little torches for work virtually every day over many, many years, is that the bulbs almost never blow if you use NiCad or NimH rechargeable batteries because the voltage is never over 1.2v, yet stays at about 1.2v for almost the entire life of the battery, whereas alkaline battery voltage starts at 1.7v and drops over time to below 1.0v. The actual light output is only better with alkalines for the first very short period when thery are fresh, but the bulbs are MUCH more likely to blow at 1.7v. I've lost count of the number of times I've put fresh alkalines in and phut! - that's when the bulb will decide to blow.

These are are fantastic. No, really, they are. They're very small but fit perfectly into the torch, which is lucky I suppose. Anyway, when they're in they work a blinkin' treat, they do. The light that comes out from them is, well, almost magical. Perhaps that's why they're called Mag Lites? I could point the torch straight ahead and the light meant I could see in the dark for several feet. It was great. And what's more, there were two of them - Oh Joy! I would defiantly buy these again, and I mean defiantly because I would fight anyone who disagreed with my purchase.

Properly packaged and prompt delivery.The bulbs are genuine Mag-lite spares.Very cost effective and much better than discarding the torch.The instructions issued with the torch suggest putting Vaseline on the screw threads of the torch. It seems tedious, but makes a bigdifference to ease of replacing batteries and adjusting the beam.As torches go it is an extremely efficient and well built little torch. Weighs next to nothing and not much bigger than a pen.It would be a shame to give up on it for the sake of a bulb or some petroleum jelly.

Mini-Maglite AAA-powered torches are easy to find in retail outlets, but not the replacement bulbs which do eventually blow and need replacement.These bulbs come blister-packed in pairs and are easy to fit (they have two steel prongs which fit into small holes). The product and packaging are very small, so easily mislaid: remember where you put the one spare bulb you didn’t use for future need!

I ordered the bulbs for my friend. She has a mag lite torch and needed a new bulb for her torch as she has to walk down a long dark path to her door. I put the bulb in and she was extremely pleased to have her torch working again!I had looked for the bulbs in several shops to no avail, so was very pleased to find them online and so easily ordered, paid for and then delivered. Thanks.

If you have an older Maglite, these really do make a difference. Clearly, they are not as good as the later LED's and the batteries will not last as long but they do provide a much improved white light over the older Krypton bulbs. I do have the latest 2xAAA LED Maglite but these Xenon bulbs do breath life into the older models and well worth considering.

Bought this pack of two bulbs after my last replacement gave up the ghost after 7 years!!!If these last as long as the last two I've bagged a bargain. I use my torch on a daily basis for short periods of between 10 and 15 minutes, the two bulb pack means I can replace the replacement spare as well.All together a good product.

Bulb easy to fit and works fine in AAA mini maglite. Very expensive I thought, and I only needed one. With luck I'll remember where I put the second one when I need it in three or four years' time. More likely I won't, and will have to buy another pair. In fact, now I think of it, where *did* I put that second bulb .. .. ..

I own a few maglites which I used in my job but my mini maglite is the one I use most. I used to have difficulty in buying any spares but over the years have become more readily available. As maglites are a really reliable torch the bulbs usually last quite a while so it is necessary to buy the genuine replacement spares.

It was either buy a new torch or these replacement lamps. So I did the latter. The torch has always been good but this is the second time I have bought replacements. I like the torch as if doing an awkward job in a cupboard you can stick the torch in your mouth and have both hands free to do the work.

Couldn't have bought it from a better place. Prompt delivery and the product is excellent. It's lasted for ages and was great value for money. Mag-lites are expensive so I was furious when it stopped working and a change of batteries didn't help. This was easy to fit and now I have a brand new torch!

I was delighted to be able to obtain these mini bulbs for my Maglite torch. When the said torch conked I am afraid I thought that I would have to purchase a new torch being unaware that the bulbs were available so easily. Glad to report they were quickly placed in the torch and worked perfectly.

I have been using my mini maglite for years now and have changed batteries on a regular basis.However this time the bulb finally packed up.So I needed a bulb quickly.I ordered it and it arrived quickly with no problems.I will be using the seller again next time the bulb needs changing.

These bulbs as said elsewhere are somewhat special to the Maglite AA or AAA so can only do what they sa on the tin. First time I've had a bulb go, so eeven though I don't use the torch very often they are very durable. Last bulb gave up the ghost a few minutes after I dropped the Maglite.
