Why Amazon market models as toys I will never know!I haven't built it yet, but I have cut the fusalage from the sprues and they fit very well.Comparison must be made with Tamiyas Spit, but not having one all I can do is go by the on-line images.All I can say is; It's half the price of Tamiya BUT about 90% of the quality - datail.I'd rather save my money and fix things myself (there's a difference between putting a kit together and actually MAKING a model), so I'll leave it to you really.I'm a modeller NOT an assembler.Glad I have it

Exertlaint kit very happy with all the parts and items in this kit I would recomaned this kit to anyone interested in making a great spitfire

Great scale model kit for the price, excellent detail, not too complicated parts fit is excellent would definitely buy another.

Model okay has a lot of detail but by the time you put it together you can't see it.
