Hazets bit-adapter is more precisely machined than the cheaper alternatives I have used. I bought first Taiwan-made Gedore bit-adapters in two sizes. In size 1/4" to 1/4" they were very wobbly, almost unusable. Their bigger bit-adapter (3/8" to 1/4") was better. So I had to order German-made Hazet bit-adapters in the 1/4" to 1/4" size even though they were three times more expensive than Gedore. In both adapters the bit side worked well enough, but Hazet had a clearly better fit and less play on the ratchet side. Winner: Hazet.
