Incredible. Citrus and pepper/spice flavours imbued delightfully alongside delicate scotch and oak wood overtones to nose and taste. This is a recreation of nineteenth century gin from the London gin palaces of lore which was served directly from wooden casks. As such this Hayman’s variety is rested in scotch whisky casks for three weeks before bottling to reanimate the flavours in gin from 150 years ago. A thorough delight to consume especially for a fan of gin, whisky and history. Works very well in a Vesper Martini.
