Holy Grass Vodka, 70clThis may appear a little pricey at £33.95, but really, it's worth every penny in my opinion. This clearly is a quality product. Not only is it one of the finest tasting Vodkas that I've tried, this is also very well presented in a bottle that you will want to hang onto when empty. The bottle has obviously been designed with a good deal of thought. This is not supplied in your usual glass bottle. This Vodka is presented in a very attractive clay bottle that will look great parked on any shelf. The cap is sealed in place with a wax cover that ensures the contents remain fresh.Despite the sales pitch on the side of the bottle, (The description talks about the Holy grass found on the banks of the Thurso River, giving this such a unique, delicate and fresh taste). For me, the proof is in the pudding, what does this taste like?.. Well, I'm pleased to say this tastes absolutely gorgeous! This hand-stilled Vodka is not a spirit to gulp down in one sitting, it's best enjoyed taking a small glass at a time. Add a glass of this with some cheese and biscuits and I'm in heaven!CONTENTS:1 x 70cl VodkaIf you have found my review useful, I would be grateful if you would consider clicking the helpful button below, thank you.

This arrived in a very nice bespoke ceramic type bottle with a coated black release cap which revealed an old style stopper cap, I don’t normally spend much time looking for Vodka and am used to getting one of the more common brands so was pleased to get to try this. After opening it up I tried a little bit neat, this is something I would never normally do when drinking Vodka as I find it too harsh a spirit to drink neat, this certainly does not have the edge or bite of the one I normally drink and is an easy pleasant drink even in it’s neat form, it has a thicker consistency and sweeter odour giving a rich but nice warm after taste.I have tried it with various mixers and it really is nice Vodka,I think I have been caught in the misconception that all Vodka’s are very much the same but this has certainly changed my mind and I really am enjoying it.Overall I found this to be exceptional and something I had never tasted before with a smooth silky taste and no harsh bite to it, it’s well presented and I found it to be an excellent drink both neat and mixed, I have no problem at all giving it top marks.

Hadn't come across this lovely Scottish vodka before but am very glad to have done now - it's immediately become one of my favourties! Really great quality vodka that is smooth whilst strong and clearly being pretty potent but with none of that cheap/artificial edge you get with a lot of bargain vodkas from the supermarket and similar. The flavour is subtle but noticeable and it's most definitely nice enough to have neat/on the rocks if that's your thing but is also lovely with a splash of coke. Also love the bottle with all the information about it's history/where it comes from and would definitely get it again and recommend!

Scotland’s ‘other drink’ comes in many forms from the near undrinkable to the sublimely smooth. What all whiskeys seem to share is a robust odour and an early engagement with the tongue before going off in different directions to display their individual and unique notes and fragrances.Trying some of Scotland’s new gins they too seem to display the same eagerness to establish their flavour identity ( some might say “in your face!”), and so too even with some of the new Scottish vodkas.Holy Grass bucks that trend, and is as subtle and distinctive as any fine malt whiskey crafted in Alba.

This vodka comes in a beautiful old-style bottle so it is perfect if you want to get someone a special gift. I tried the vodka with a mixer as I am a lightweight and it was delicious. My other half drank it straight and he was impressed with the lovely clean taste. He said you can tell that it isn't a mass-produced supermarket vodka because there are some more complex flavours than you would usually experience. This obviously isn't the cheapest vodka out there but it is a decent-sized bottle and it does look and taste like something special.

I’ve tried many many vodkas, some expensive, some not so expensive and this is definitely one of my favourites. It’s just got a nice clean taste and the bottle is lovely. It’s strong too so only single measures and you can still taste it. That cannot be said for all vodkas, some a lot more expensive than this.I have bought 2 of these so far and I’ll definitely be back to get more soon.

I bought this for a gift as was delighted with the unusual bottle. It looks great and I am reliably informed tastes great too. It's nice to be able to gift a vodka other than the usual bottles we find promoted on the supermarket shelves. Would definitely purchase this again!

This is some great vodka, I would say dangerously great. It is extremely smooth so much you could have it just on the rocks with ease. The bottle is very unique with it being ceramic with a wax seal on top and gives an old school feel. This is a hidden gem and worth the buy

Bought this as a treat for my hubby after he tried a miniature bottle bought by a friend. Smooth and subtle flavours make this a pleasure on the palette. One to be savoured

I love my vodka, usually treating myself to grey goose, five or bellveidre, but this vodka surpasses all of them, definitely my favourite with its unique wonderful taste.
