Unlike standard Hendricks gin with its rose and cucumber notes, this is herbal with violet and cassia nuances. My partner utterly loathed gin. Until trying this at which point she has become a convert. While Hendricks say this is a limited release I would be surprised if it does not become a long term product because in terms of flavour profile this avoids the piney juniper-dominated styles while at the same time being more assertive then their stock product which can feel a little soft and unfocussed especially if you aren't a huge cucumber fan. It's also a beautifully packaged product and clearly a lot of effort went into this launch.

This is a perfect gin to unwind with on any evening after a long day! I first fell in love with Hendricks Original but this variant is just as good! Don't be put off by the price as it is most certainly worth spending that extra penny on as the quality of the liquid is very evident! The bottle recommends to try it with ginger ale and a squeeze of lemon which I did and it was excellent and it made a nice change from your typical G&T. I highly recommend adding this to your collection!

Hendricks is my favourite go to everyday Gin, lovely taste and great bottle design.This Lunar Gin takes the concept of Hendricks and enhances with different botanicals. It retains the floral element of the standard gin but adds a spicy and citrus finish. Maybe best served with Lemon (unlike Cucumber for the normal gin). A non flavoured tonic works well.Great product and nice gift for any gin fan

Yes this is a very high quality gin from Hendricks, as all of the gins in their range tend to be. However the reason I knocked one star off, is that whilst it is a little different, I am not sure it's THAT different to their normal offering. Fun to try, but if there was a significant price difference I would probably stick to the regular gin. Still - delicious.

This is a lovely gin, it has a slight spice to it so is perfectly paired with ginger ale, I have also tried normal tonic with cucumber and it tastes great too. I wasn't sure about spending the amount it was for the gin but now I am glad I spent the money. It's perfectly yummy ?

Really loved the unusual flavour profile of this gin. Made a lovely cocktail from the Hendricks website with it and it’s also lovely just with tonic, or lemonade if you like it really sweet. Will definitely be grabbing another bottle or 2 for over Christmas.

Smooth. Beautiful. One complaint is Hendricks need to create a bottomless bottle. So much less harsherer than a London gin I drank a couple of weeks ago.Drink under the moon. Naked if you can (preferably when it’s warmer.... )!

I'm not a gin drinker but purchased this as a gift and had really great feedback. Serve with tonic, a slice of cucumber and a twist of black pepper and it's apparently 'the bees knees'. Well chuffed for great gift feedback!

Love this gin - it has a very unique taste and so much flavour. I ignored the serving suggestion as cucumber doesn't belong anywhere near a drink imho and just had it with a plain tonic. Thoroughly recommended

This is a great gin. Tried the cucumber suggestion bet preferred it with just the tonic as it was so tasty. Nice and smooth. Only problem is we had people round and they drunk it all too

Beautiful bottle, wonderful label but not really any better than the already excellent "ordinary" Hendricks! I buy when on offer. Try Hendrick's Orbium instead - more interesting taste

Bought for my husband who is a big fan of Hendrick's gin. He loved this one so much that we bought a second bottle! It's a bit pricey, but no more so than the other 'fancier' gins.

Really lovely taste. Not too strong. We did it with the tonic, cucumber and twist of black pepper and it was perfect. Will definitely purchase again!

Beautiful, smooth and very delicate. Such a lovely gin and goes well with Fever Tree Light. All you need is a wedge or lime or lemon.Sublime!!
